The Prices: The discounts are real. I found identical items listed on Amazon and Wayfair for double the price. They easily save you 50% to 70% off retail pricing. The Inventory: The selection is incredible. They have everything from beautiful velvet bar stools and heavy-duty metal shelving units to massive outdoor canopies and fitness gear. The inventory changes, but the quality is always solid. The Service: The staff at the Fullerton warehouse are incredibly helpful. I ordered online through their website for local pickup, and the process was fast and contactless. They also offer local delivery and assembly options if you do not want to build the items yourself. Bring a truck or a large SUV if you want to take your items home right away. I will absolutely be back for my next home project. Highly recommended!

You do have to sign a piece of paper though. They still haven't restocked the Radlers that are still on sale, but a lot of Xmas stuff is out on the floor now. They have like the comfiest chairs ever, and it's never really crowded in here, which is great. I do like their Korean food section, and wish they had more. I've looked at their clearance, but it seems like a lot of it isn't really worth looking through. Overall, they have a lot of different cute things around the store, so it's fun looking at their collection of items. I do hope that they can carry more products in the future.

There was Pier One & there was Cost Plus - Pier One was the more corporate experience option. Then Cost Plus grew up. Some changes were immediate, some took a long time. I think it comes down to how I feel when I think of going there, specifically the one in Brea. This isn't a grocery store - why do we have to pay for bags? I'm buying bottles of wine & dishes, picture frames - if I buy dishes and home decor at Macy's, I'm not required to buy a bag. It was always part of my Christmas tradition to make Cost Plus my first stop for gifts - but a couple of Christmases ago, I bought a whole cart full of wine & food gifts. I was not allowed to take the cart to my car, I had to leave the cart in the store and trust that the employee helping me wouldn't be pulled away by time I brought my car around. And it was raining by the way. Once upon a time, the store would reward members with a $10.00 birthday gift. That got changed to a discount. So every once in a while I get a text message telling me about a promotion and I used to enjoy getting those messages. Now I just delete them.

They were in good shape with the exception that some of the framing was getting pitted and straps were faded, but not broken. This set, including the glass table, have been outside in the sea air and all elements since they were purchased. We wanted to honor my wife's grandparents by not replacing this set. So we decided to invest in a restoration, due to how well made this set is. I found Patio Guys on Yelp and decided to use them for this project. As we were starting to wipe down the chairs, we noticed a label on one of the chair frames, which was a Patio Guys restoration logo decal. Turns out our late relative had used them before, but uncertain at what decade were they restored before. I guess it was destiny to use Patio Guys. For the strap width of what our chairs required, there was not a huge selection to choose from. So if you're looking to replace with a sunny yellow, orange or teal, you'll need to make an alternate choice. Lots of whites, creams, tans, and earthy greens to choose from. The only blue is like a Dodger blue or a forest green. So we took a leap of faith and chose turquoise. It's perfect!! We were in no hurry and quoted 4 weeks turn around time. It was more like 6 weeks, but I was anticipating more like 10 weeks. Plus we were the cause of not getting the chairs back sooner due to our schedule. The job Patio Guys has exceeding my expectations. I knew the patio set would look better than the existing condition, but I wasn't expecting a brand new condition.

The 3-person Tylo sauna was pricey, $12k. Paid an additional $750 for delivery & assembly as well as $500 for freight...so about 10% extra surcharge. For $1250 extra in addition to the cost of my sauna, I expected a better experience. When the unit was delivered, my neighbor who is a general contractor was in the garage with the delivery team, watching their assembly while I was busy inside the house. When the team told me the assembly was finished, my neighbor pointed out to them that the entire unit is visibly dusty / dirty as well as the glass door seal being (1) too short on one side and (2) messed up on the other side...plus a blemish on the black wood board. I overheard one of the team members mumbling about my neighbor to the other member while getting these issues resolved, which I thought was a bit unprofessional. All my neighbor asked was for an expensive ticket item to be properly delivered, assembled and presented...very sad that the delivery team seems to think this is a big ask for a pricey sauna. I called Coastal about the door seal being short and spoke to Susan. She said she will talk to the manufacturer and get back to me... she never did. Quite a disappointing experience with Coastal. Update: Oh, just noticed that the delivery team didn't even screw the heater into the sauna wall properly. Two of the four support screws were half exposed...they are specialty screws so I don't have the tools to screw them into the wall fully so have to probably hire someone to do it or buy the right tools. What a joke...paid $1250 extra for this type of service.

As we are nearing the end of August, the place is jampacked with Halloween and fall decor, ghosts, skulls, pumpkins, galore! They have a ton of inventory with a good variety of merchandise, the staff is friendly, the store is neatly kept, and everything is organized within the aisles. Given inflation has impacted anything and everything that we purchase, I will say that the price points for all items are slightly higher than what we're probably used to in the past 4 to 5 years.
