Great place. Had my oil changed very quickly. They even drove me home so I didn't need to wait. Highly recommended

This team communicates clearly, honestly and promptly, does high quality work at competitive prices, and does not waste your time or money at all. I recommend them unconditionally Excellent services performed in the last few years - u joint replacement (1 day, under $500), serpentine belt, AC, gasket, new tires, many oil changes. Problems = 0

I cannot say enough wonderful things about stone house fuel and Ray Perez. I came here last year…read morewhen I found this place,, looking for someone to do an inspection, that was 2 years past due. They were the most reasonable in the area and could take me immediately. Then I went to them beginning of December, 2025. for a dead battery - and an interstate was installed expertly and expeditiously. They told me I needed brakes and tires soon - and said by April. Wellll,, They knew, to the day. By the beginning of April, my brakes were beginning to squeak and I got there in time and did not need rotors. Again, They are so kind and know their job and work so quickly I am hardly there long. And they are also very reasonably priced for their work. I asked Ray about tires and he told me how to buy them and who to call and was very patient, and gave me time and and gave me names and phone numbers for his tire people. I got a great deal and had them sent to stonehouse and the tires were installed on Wednesday, just in time. Ray knew they were down on treads and I'd need them by April. This place does excellent work and they have wonderful customer service. I will always use them for when my car needs attention.

I live out of town, so, after a little online research, I reached out to Rockaway Service due to their 5-star reviews. When I inquired as to the cost of plugging a slow leak, I was told there was no charge as it was a service they perform for free. I was taken aback. No charge? Naturally, I had my mom drop the car off. Pat and Dan were very nice. A short time later Dan called me to discuss an issue with the sub-frame. My mom's vehicle is a Jeep Compass - subframe rotting out is a well-known and common issue. I was actually already aware of this on my mom's car and had been keeping an eye on it for the last year or so, knowing it would need to be replaced at some point. Dan texted me photos of the current condition with his recommendation that I not put it off any longer. The photos he took while the car was up on the lift showed the rotting had progressed much further than I could see from my vantage point with the vehicle on the ground. I grew up working on cars my entire life: My father was a huge do-it-yourselfer, so I know my way around an automobile. I know if I'm being spoken to honestly or not. I was trying to hold off because it could be a pricey repair, but Dan was correct - I could not put it off any longer. We made arrangements to bring the car back in a week. My mom dropped off her car to get the repair done and they actually drove her to work - unfortunately, the repair took a little longer than expected (as these things sometimes tend to do - it happens) so they picked her up at the end of the day and drove her home! Knowing my mom needed the car (she a senior widow, living alone), Dan stayed late the next night, finishing the repairs and then he personally delivered the car to my mom at her house! Who does that? Both Dan, Pat and even Denise (the woman that answered the phone) were all pleasant and professional. They went above and beyond what I would consider to be "normal" service. My mom is ecstatic about how much better the car drives and I'm very happy with the pricing. I think everyone can agree that it's very difficult to find a mechanic you can trust, and cold-calling one like I did here was a gamble. But it was a gamble that I'm glad to say paid off. I can't say enough good things about the way they treated both my mom and me. I know I tend to be overly wordy sometimes... but this time it's warranted. I just wish I lived closer to them, as, based on this experience, and the way they treated us as a first-time customer, would be very confident having them service my entire families' vehicles. I have no qualms or reservations about recommending them. Thanks, Guys! Brian Dowling

If only I could give it 0 stars... Misunderstandings happen and I'm ok with that, but being treated…read morelike I was treated by the woman on the phone is unacceptable. I was polite and calm from beginning to end, trying to understand why my car was not serviced as expected. All I heard was an incompetent, condescending person talking non stop without listening to me, and ending up yelling and hanging up on me. All this because I disagreed with you? Also, it's not normal that an "oil change" costs $250 and takes 5 hours, with bad customer service on top of that. I am not recommending this place. The service was below my expectations and the customer service was mediocre.

This place specializes in German cars (Porsche, BMW, MBs, etc). My experience was servicing my BMW…read morefor brakes but it turned out that it needed more things. Keep in mind that my car is 13 years old with most things original parts. I knew stuff was just breaking down and they did point that out. They provide a "free" vehicle inspection (fluids, tires, brakes, etc.) I give them credit for pointing out the safety items that needed to be replaced and they were not too pushy with the other "non safety" items. I guess it's their place to provide me the option to replace. They are transparent with their prices (parts and labor). The shop itself is very professional for an "independent". They know who their customer base is. When I was there, a couple of Porsches were on lifts and a number of other Audis, BMW, and Mercedes were parked along the property. None of the cars looked "old". They have complimentary loaner cars (needs to be scheduled out)- I was given the BMW. When I went, the labor rate was in the mid 90s. Overall I'm satisfied with my experience. I think they are a very good alternative to the dealer. It seems they are thorough with their work which translates to "options" for the vehicle owner to decide.
