They made you feel like you were imposing on their time, even though we had an appointment. And the end result was a crappy manicure. My toenails are lovely and they were nice but the man who did my pedicure literally sliced chunks out of my heal and when I showed him I was bleeding he put my foot back in the water and did nothing. At the end I had to ask someone for bandaids to put my sock back on. Guess I won't be going back. read more

I went here for the first time yesterday because my normal place was completely booked. I got dip done. 3 afters after leaving, one of my nails was chipped. I went back in today to get it fixed and they put the wrong red on my nail! I told her it was the wrong color and she said "no it's the right one." I wanted to get out of there so fast so I just left. I will never go back. read more

The tech was rushing, did not use any disinfect or softener in the water, did not file nails, did not use cuticle softener or remover, did not buff or file calluses. Complained about the color I chose because to get coverage, needed to apply 3 coats. Just awful. I do NOT recommend!!! read more

I went in there and the people who worked there were rude. The guy who did my acrylics were rough on my nails and stabbed me on my pinky with his tool and didn't say sorry. Got a gel manicure about a week ago and all 10 nails are starting to peel from the bottom. 3 are chipped on the tips of my fingers. This was the first time I got my nails done at this place and definitely never going back. I didn't pay $30+ to have my nails chipping in less than a week! I could have just paid for regular polish if I knew they would not hold up for the 2-3 weeks like gel polish is supposed to. I much prefer Medina Nails (they were closed for spring break), much better quality and WAY friendlier service. read more

walked in to get my acrylics off. guy who took me to do so did not do it correctly. he used an artificial nail to pry my acrylics off, which ruins your nail bed. it was very unpleasant. kept telling me yo relax my hands, but it was really hard to when he's prying acrylic off my poor nail beds. he then filed and buffed my nails in a very half-a$$ manner. didn't oil my poor dry nails either once finished. read more

Terrible service. Yes it had a shorter waiting time than another salon my friend and I went to, but two people working? what is that? They called my friend back for her fill, I went and sat with her as I waited for mine. The man gave my friend such a hard time because she wouldn't get gel color on her nails. He didn't tell her to soak her one hand in the acetone and he slammed her hand down into the bowl. When he sent her to wash her hands be started on mine. They were fine, until he started inspecting my acrylics and glared at me for a few messed up corners. Excuse you? everything was fine and then when I went to wash my hands he moved ALL of my stuff to a new station. Including my phone, jacket, money, etc. My nails look fine, except the corner of the one he never did. Too over priced for such a terrible job on my nails. Will never return. read more

My mom and I were desperate to get our nails done before we left for vacation, which unfortunately ended up being on the 4th of July. As this was one of the only salons open for the holiday, we gave it a shot. We both got gel manis & pedis. Long story short? Neither of us got anything close to the color we chose, it was super overpriced for the quality of work ($185 total for both of us), the man working was grumpy and didn't wish to be bothered, and barely 10 days later our nails are horribly chipped and peeling from the bottom. Definitely will be trying a different nail salon next time. read more

Used to love going here but service is going down. I ask only for shellac polish and past 2 times they give mani (which was only soaking fingers and trimming cuticles) then charging more. I haven't had just 1 person do my nails the past 3 times I go, they jump around having multiple people doing the job. Communication is a big issue too, not only not doing as I ask but also when questioning prices they get irritated and aren't accurate. Really bad. I used to go to them a couple years ago and they were good, not quite sure what happened there. My nails have noticeable bubbles on all of them (I'm pretty sure they used the wrong top coat?) I don't usually write reviews and I gave them a second chance after I got a full set to do a full, they just look like crap. I let the bubbles on my nails go because I didn't even want to trust them to fix them. I had to go elsewhere to have them fixed. The one guy there is grumpy as hell, he obviously knew he messed up my nails but since there were only two people and six customers he didn't care. All about turnover, not at all about taking pride in their work. On the other hand it may just be the men there, my friend had a woman do her nails and they were incredible. read more

The place I got my full set from did not accept walk-ins today so called Lovely nails and was told they were and it was $18 for a fill. While Kenny was doing my nails he asked me if I wanted French again with design and I said no just regular color. Again when he was finished he went to polish and I said regular polish. He gave me a pallet to choose my color. I was not paying attention and looked down and noticed it was gel and asked and was ignored. When I went to pay I was told it was $38 and when I was questioned she said it was $20 for a fill (which I was told $18) plus gel and fixed another nail and cut down. $5 to cut down! Because of this I didn't have enough cash so they charged me for using card. It ended up costing me $40.50 for a fill! There greed cost them a client. I was very disappointed with the lack of sanitation at this salon. I have never been here before and watched them wheel up a cart with supplies to use on me. I assumed that all of the supplies were either sanitized or brand new but when they completed my pedicure, they put everything back in the cart and put the cart back in its place. This place was so expensive! $55 for a pedi! So I picked out a pink glitter color out of their chosen! Then he put red underneath so it would be opaque, totally get it! I asked why not pink? He Said it wouldn't come out the same so he tried two layer glitter look that was terrible! I almost just said OK to be done. not a very welcoming environment, kind of dark. only two employees working and the vietnamese woman was pretty hard to understand. i asked for a full set of acrylics and she was very focused so she made little to no effort to converse with me or my mom. every finger was bleeding by the time she finished with the drill. i asked for round tip nails and she refused and kept them square. i also asked for nude colored nails and she refused that as well and gave me French tips. don't get me wrong the work she did is very nice but she basically told me what i wanted and i didn't feel like it was my choice/ even though i was paying! nails are strong and look presentable though. read more

This was my first and last time! I came in for a mani and pedi. My pedicure was fine but my gel manicure was horrible! It started chipping and peeling the next day. The nail technician didn't apply the final clear coat and when I asked about it, she told me I didn't need it. I should have insisted... but it was the worst manicure I have ever received. The nail tech seemed more interested in talking to her next customer who she seemed to know and started on her before she was finished with me. I went there to get my nails done and the guy that did my nails cut my fingers all up with that thing that gets the cuticuls and smooths the nails and my friend went there and got fungus under her nails. Although they are friendly, They are very under-staffed and it takes forever to get your nails done because they are too busy moving person to person. its can also be very painful when they do acrylics. Wow. Unreal. I work on the East Side and usually get my nails done near work. However, it was my day off and I didn't feel like driving an hour to go to my usual salon. I went in for a gel manicure and a pedicure. First of all my pedicure was performed by an unlicensed teenager, not by a nail tech. The supplies she used she pulled out of a plastic tuberware drawer. When she was done using them on me she threw them back in the drawer. Nothing was sanitized before of after my pedicure. (I'll excuse you while you puke in your mouth... it's ok I'm doing the same just thinking about it.) My manicure consisted of soaking each hand in a relaxing bowl of acetone, a quick file shaping each nail into un-uniform ovals and then a slap-dash of gel polish. She did not soak, or clean my nails, or even push my cuticle back. Neat. She insisted that i pay cash, did not charge me tax (shifty operation) and asked what I wanted to leave as a tip (awkward question). With in three days the gel polish peeled (its supposed to last for 2 weeks) and when i called to complain she said "come back I'll fix it" and hung up. I would seriously have to be smoking crack or just not give a shit about my life to walk back into this nail salon... ever. read more
