Once again the ladies at Aria went above and beyond to take excellent care of me. I had acrylics put on and was very rough on them, damaging half of them. Even though my appt was for a fill they listened to my concerns and offered to remove them and do a gel manicure instead(an extra 45 minutes to my appt time). They really know how to care for their clients and leave you feeling special. A big "thanks" to Summer for being so attentive to my problems and finding a solution without me asking and a big *hug* to Amber who fixed my cracked nail and adjusted me in to her schedule. I'm still in the car FLEEING this place!! Please BEWARE! I don't know if they're under new management or what but I saw all new faces when I entered. I signed in for a full set, then I was told, "Hold on, we need to see if we can fit you in." When there were two techs, one customer and one other customer there, soaking off her nails. Once she confirmed she could take me and told me to pick a polish, the tech went to smoke a cigarette for 7 minutes, then came back in and grabbed my hand without a word or eye contact. She began trimming my natural nails hastily, catching my fingertips in the blades numerous times before I informed her that she was cutting my skin off. No apology, no acknowledgement, still no eye contact. At that point, I just collected my things and told her never mind. I literally have chunks of skin missing from the tops of my fingers. Rude, full of attitude and they've permanently lost a potentially loyal customer. read more

I don't get manicures done b/c I work in a hospital and it's not worth wasting the money. I use to go to D Art Nails until she started extra for using multiple colors on your nails. I came here after seeing multiple 5-star reviews and hearing good things from previous clients. The woman who was doing my nails did not speak English. On the first nail, she gave me a deep paper cut with the nail file. I asked her to stop, but she didn't understand me. When I pulled my hand away, she finally saw that my finger was bleeding. The owner put some antiseptic on the cut and asked if I wanted her to do my nails instead. I declined, as I didn't feel comfortable staying. I didn't see the file being opened, and I'm concerned it was not properly sanitized. This salon did not seem very clean, and they had a small dog walking around. The color selection was great. I appreciate that the owner offered to my nails, but they never apologized. I'm hoping my finger doesn't get infected. I would not recommend this salon. read more

I have been a client of Cindy's since 2007 (one of the owners of the salon). She has always done a wonderful job on my nails; so much so that I drive from Woodlawn to her new location in Hamilton. The new salon is a beautiful environment for a day of pampering. The staff is very friendly, professional and caring. They truly stand behind their work and have the customers best interest at heart. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had! I had an appointment, tech didn't do what I asked for, she was on her phone texting the whole time was I was there, she was filing so hard she burnt my nail beds, sat there and told another customer she was cutting her hrs because it was so slow there, really! It's no wonder with the customer service being non existent! It's amazing how it's manage to stay this long! I felt like I was a bother, this is not my first rodeo and I definitely will not be going back! Stopped in the other day for a quick pedicure and wax. The wax technician is only there 2 days a week so road block. There was 1 person there with NO one there in the shop waiting for her client to arrive. She took me despite the fact her client was on the way. I appreciate she did that. Not 100% sure I'll go back. I came here for about a year after moving to Streetsboro. They did a wonderful job with my acrylics. They also did my wedding nails which I can't express how much I loved. I got compliments for weeks to come. I've had a number of pedicures done here as well as my husband although I don't think he wants to admit it. :) A husband and wife own this place. The husband is very strong and you get a nice foot massage. Their son also occasionally works there and while he can be slow he does very intricate nail designs. I've been to many mail salons over the years and this is certainly the best! read more

I didn't like how my nails turned out at all. I got my acrylics filled. Not smooth, very bumpy and thick. They also looked like they already grew out even though she just did them. This was my first time here, and I have to say I was impressed! We made appointments so there was no wait time. The place was very clean and modern. Our nail techs were very friendly and took their time to make our pedicures perfect, even though it was almost closing time. Toes look great, and the price was right-on! Experience so bad that I created my first yelp account just to warn others of the terrible quality and service offered at this establishment. If I could give no stars I would. I travel for work so I walked into the salon with no appointment. I waited for about 45 minutes before I asked if they had any suggestions of other salons since I was short on time and am not from the area and wouldn't know where to look. Mindy did not make eye contact with me and rudely told me to go to Walmart. So I asked how much longer it would be to get my nails done there and she said soon so I stayed even though I was pretty off put by her rudeness - I was seriously short on time. As she was doing my nails in an incredibly hurried fashion I could tell she was flustered by how busy it was so I tried to make small talk with her. It was like talking to a wall. She barely answered. I had to drag words out of her and it should be her trying to talk to me. Getting your nails done should be a relaxing experience but it was uncomfortable as she rushed to file my nails not at all being careful not to scrape my skin. The end result of the nails came out horrific. I have been getting gel nails for years and never experienced anything like this... A kindergartener could have done a better job and I'm not being dramatic. I have had less than perfect manicures but the nail tech was always so nice I tipped well and said thank you regardless. After I pointed out all the flaws to Mindy she made a weak attempt to fix them and told me she would take it off but I just didn't have the time to go through it again when she should have just been patient and not tried to rush and get it over with. I have never been so disrespected and disappointed. I will certainly never return and additionally tell all of my friends and clientele to about the terrible quality and service. read more

The place was fairly clean (the water in the bowls was questionable and there was a dog running around the salon) and the prices were fair. I think if I had gotten a better manicurist I would have been satisfied with the experience. However, I didn't get lucky in that area. All was good and well until my manicurist started clipping my cuticle area. She cut me nearly 5 times and never apologized once. 3 of the 5 nails on my left hand were a bloody mess before she was even through buffing my nails. This was my first experience with getting a salon manicure, but I'm pretty sure manicures shouldn't take any more than an hour and a half. The entire process took a little over 2 hours and the friends I had come with had to sit around waiting for me to finish even though we had started at around the same time. To top it off, once I was finally ready to pay and my nails were dry, they counted my change wrong and gave me less back for what I paid them. I can't say I'm eager to return to this place after this pretty sub-par experience. read more

I happened to be present at this salon when the user named Shawnee was getting her nails done. I was also a first time customer and so, do not have any prior experience with Mindy either. I have to say that I have never in my life witnessed anything like the temper tantrum that this customer threw. She treated Mindy like garbage. She ranted and raved, was extremely disrespectful and frankly embarrassed herself, not the nail tech. The manicurist offered over and over again to fix the issues and make this girl's nails how she wanted them and was refused. Mindy also refused to take Shawnee's money because she was unhappy with the result, which Shawnee fails to mention in her scathing post. Her tirade was so outrageous that another customer, who also witnessed her rude tantrum, tried to insist on paying for Shawnee's service after she left. She also fails to mention that she didn't complain about her gel manicure until AFTER it was completed, it was 15 minutes before the salon was scheduled to close and there were more customers waiting to be worked on. In short, the business owner was the one who should have complained about rude behavior and not this customer. It was a shocking display of immaturity. I would have thrown her out of my place of business. Mindy was very sweet, I had never met her and when I left she actually hugged me... That's how "unresponsive" she is! PS... MY nails turned out beautifully! Thanks Mindy, I will be back, you have a new "regular"! read more

I'm not sure if it was just my experience, but there were just so many things that made my visit so unpleasant. First off, very unprofessional. When I first walked in no one even acknowledged me. I waited for over 30 mins, which is fine. All I wanted was an acrylic fill and I was there for 2 hours.. The lady that did my nails continued to stop and text while doing my nails. The process of actually getting my nails done was awful because she was going way too fast and knicking my skin.(somehow still there for so long) I could tell just by sitting there that the place is very unsanitary. In the end my nails look decent but if they really want customers to return they need to actually act like they care. I've been to many nail places and have never had an experience like this and would never go back. Definitely would not recommend. read more
