I went in for a full set and what I thought would be a simple design. Dina rushed through my design and I felt was very rough filing my nails. The tip was separating from my nail. I had to mention to her so she could file it and it still was not fixed. In the end I asked for a simple French manicure and the polish was uneven and over all done poorly. She did not clean up the excess polish on my cuticle as well. I would not recommend the shop or the nail tech. read more

Lovely nails "gave what it was supposed to give". Dina was more than accommodating with scheduling me, working with me running late, and my indecisiveness. The shop is honestly the best I have ever been to in the PG County area. Dina was quick and efficient at doing nails, her attention to detail was key in achieving my satisfaction. She was pleasant and very personable. I also really enjoyed the brother that did my pedicure. I have never seen a black man working in a nail shop and we discussed that. I have a love/hate relationship with this place (being funny). Dina is a nice lady who happens to stay booked 24/7. I actually was able to catch her once out of my 3 years going there. The person who usually does my nails is the older Asian man. He does a wonderful job doing my nails, however if you want designs, gotta wait in line for Dina because she does it all. I got my nails done once by the black man Chris. He likes to take his time (not because he is lazy) that's just how he does his work. If you want your nails done by Dina she is by appointment only, so make sure you call ahead of time. The Asian man is second and there is no appointment needed for him if his station is empty go and sit down. If your the type that doesn't mind blowing a lot of time go to Chris. *sidenote* I've only gotten my hands done at this place. I've never gotten my feet nor eyebrows done there I am only speaking on my nails. read more

i have green fungus like issue with my nails. I have been coming there for 4 years now. So I came in Friday to get my nails done and they were coming off Saturday and my fingers were peeling skin LITERALLY. I couldn't call Sunday because they were closed, I called Monday and was told to come Tuesday @12, the nail tech who did my nails weren't there. So fast forward they told me to come back the next day but I had to work. So he continues to add glue to at least 5 nails! As if that was going to make them last. I had been going to Dina for 7 months in spite of the molded ceilings, rushed service, long waits and pointless appointments. One Friday I was there 4 hours didn't leave until 10 pm, but I must admit she did a great job. I averaged about $100 per service mani and pedi, and that's not including tips. Sure enough yesterday when I went she attempted to charge me $135. $110 just for nails. Needless to say I refused, so she proceeded to take rhinestones of 4 of my nails. Petty much! She should have let me know before doing the set that it was going to cost $110 but she didn't. So in the end I payed $80 for a full set, gel polish, and two whole nail rhinestone designs. Lmdao so when I informed this lady that I wanted a certain style and she laughed, not sure why. I asked for another style and she said it was dip. For some reason, she didn't wanna sell me on the dip. Not sure why again because you're a fucking nail tech- sell me on more expensive stuff, I might actually do it. Then after she squared my nails, she didn't file them to Make sure the werent jagged. Upon leaving, another lady wanted to pay and I continued to sit, know that after gel they wipe your nails down one final time. She didnt do that. I tipped and left. I tried to call back and complain but the manager wasn't there. I asked to leave a note and someone laughed and said no. Lmdao okay. So here's the thing, when I asked to pay to get my cuticles cut, she laughed and said she didn't do that. If you don't wanna be at work then LEAVE. Don't do a shitty job just because. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this salon. As a nail enthusiast I was really hoping that my nails would be more awesome than words could describe, honestly they're more basic than I'd like to take a picture of. I'm disappointed that my actual nail plates (nail bed, isn't the correct term) hurt on 6 of my 10 fingers. My nail tech didn't wipe excess dust away as she went along in the application process. Which is just dirty! The shape of my nails is about 50% correct, I chose ballerina, some of the side walls are angled improperly from filing. Some nails are not shaped properly at the apex (arch of the nail). As well, the nail extension should look be flat from your cuticle, on every finger mine have a ridge/bump. Also some side walls aren't polished correctly. Maybe it was too late in the day for my nail tech to truly pay attention but I will be soaking off these nails in 2-3 weeks (I have to give time for the pain to subside) and will begin again attempting to find the nail tech of my ratchet nail dreams. Last but not least, visually, this place isn't much to look at inside or out, so if you're looking for ambiance definitely go somewhere else. read more

This nail shop .... let me tell you . They look nothing like how they do on Instagram. Dina did my nails and they are a chunky mess ! It's a hole in the wall nail shop and none of the tools are clean. A drunk guy from the barbershop next door came in to talk to Dina while she was doing my nails and she said nothing . She let him sit there and bother me while I was getting my nails done. Not clean , very dirty. When she finished she didn't put any cuticle oil on my nails and my skin was so rough ! I had to ask her to put oil on my nails and make it look presentable like Instagram! It was a mess! And I had to ask her to put more nail glue in my nails bc they weren't attached to the acrylic. She didn't get the sides of my nails and it looked very rushed. She didn't wipe the dust off my nails before she applied the gel polish so I had to have her redo my nail. MINI GET IT TOGETHER I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. ALSO my mom got a pedicure by a grown ass man that looked like he just finished doing a bid . She still had rough skin on her toes! I would not return to this salon again. The nail salon is not sanitary and dirty! I made an appointment with Dina. She is only good with nail designs. As far as keeping your natural nails healthy, she has definitely lacked knowledge. Her brushes aren't clean and doesn't do any upkeep on her acrylic powder and liquid ( looks like it hasn't been cleaned for months). And then she has a nerve to charge 120 for a full set and design! This salon is terrible. Point blank period. I made an appointment with Dina for a gel manicure and requested Chris for my pedicure. When I arrived at the salon it was packed, but I wasn't too concerned since I called ahead to make an appointment. I sat there and waited for almost two hours before I was serviced. If you're going for a pedicure, request Chris because he takes his time and makes sure that your toes are together before you get out the chair. Dina seemed to be in a hurry and did a sloppy job on my nails. Less than a week later I had to return to the shop to get my nails fixed. A gel manicure should NEVER chip less than a week later. When I returned to the shop today to get my nails fixed, Dina informed me that the color I have is almost gone and if I wanted another color I would have to pay. That's so unprofessional. Is it my fault as a customer that your polish is gone? I wasn't giving this nasty shop another dime of my money. When Chris fixed my nails today he took his time, but I realized the polish they were using on my nails was NOT a gel polish. They simply put a gel base and top coat on with regular nail polish. Don't waste your money here. The shop smells weird, it's run down, and it's in a ghetto neighborhood. Never again. read more
