I needed a fill-in badly with no appointment, and even though it was a busy Saturday afternoon, the wait was only about 30 minutes. Briana at the front desk was super accommodating and helpful. My nail tech, Yunez, did an amazing job -- she's detailed, precise, and really knows how to do a clean acrylic fill. The prices are also very reasonable. I came in with my bonus daughter for a girls' day to get simple pedicures around 4:00 PM. The salon was not packed--there were clients being serviced and only about two people waiting. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill immediately. The woman at the front desk was extremely unprofessional, wearing a durag and greeting us with a noticeable attitude. When we said we wanted pedicures, she bluntly responded, "We can't take you today," and turned us away--no explanation, no offer to schedule a later time, and not even a basic goodbye. The lack of customer service was unacceptable. First impressions matter, and this one was poor. We ended up going across the street to Allure Nail Spa, where we were taken within five minutes and received top-tier service. That experience made the contrast even more disappointing. I found Bowie Nail and Spa on TikTok and expected much better. Based on this visit, I would not return. Tip: Train your front desk staff on basic customer service. I visited this establishment May 15th for my birthday pedicure it was my second time and I hate to say but I was very disappointed. I got the glass slipper pedicure. The guy who did the pedicure did not do callus removal. When I went to check out I asked if the 10% special was applied and the lady said oh I think that's for mani and pedi ugh no your sign outside says mani OR pedi. It was supposed to be a relaxing gift and I ended up disappointed. read more

Me and my step mom can't to get our feet done and the lady at the front desk denied us service. Even when I look in the back of the room with tons of chairs open. This all happened at 4:00pm. The last at the front desk was very rude and dressed up professionally. I would not want to return there! We went to another location and they took us over 5 mins. Everything felt new and clean. The service was prompt and my lux gel pedicure was completed with care. I appreciated the attention, the quiet, the 80s music videos playing in the background. I was the only person in the shop on a Monday afternoon following Easter Sunday. I don't live in the area but stopped in as I waited for my children's hair appointment to be done. VERY unhappy! This was the worst experience I have ever had with a nail salon. I picked the 45 min pedicure with gel... it took 1.5 hours wasn't done nicely and cut my toe. She didn't even put lotion on my legs. Then don't get me started on the dip nails.... Over 1.5 hours again for those and they look awful. She had to put a gel color over the dip to get the color I wanted. It is so patchy and painted way over the sides of my nails. And to get my old dip polish off she was extremely rough with the grinder and broke 2 of my nails and had to glue them down. Over 3 hours in there and I hate them. I will be going to get my nails redone in the morning somewhere else. read more
