Anyway, I was told up front that I could come back the next day if I wanted designs. I couldn't because it f my schedule so I went with the lady available. I was told she doesn't do designs but I needed them done. True to word it was basic but still good service. Fast forward to Sunday,, one of my nails cracked in the worst place ever. I went back. Greeted the moment I walked through the door. I explained what happened and I honestly couldn't remember the lady that did my nails. I was told to have a seat. I don't know the name of the lady that assisted me today but she's and Eagles fan She asked what shape did I want as my nails were more almond shaped than stiletto.. Not only did she repair the broken nail but she reshaped and relished all of my nails. In the end she didn't charge me a dime. Of course I walk around with no cash. I left ran an errand and came back with a tip. The first thing she said when I walked back through the door is you don't have to do that. I said to her neither did you. You took time and effort and that is worth it. Thank you

I walked in, was rushed to pick a color instead of greeted. Said I could grab some water, which was nice. The mumbling in Viet started as soon as I sat down, could really make you feel out of place. (Just because someone doesn't know the language doesn't mean they don't hear the tone and can pick up on context.) Cut me twice, apologized, and a couple other hiccups that I won't bother to mention. She lightened up throughout time, but I may have to give it a second thought before going again.. I still tipped well because the actual nails came out good. (My total ~$96.00)Not to my like, as she was not easy to tell what I wanted done. Lady came in right to the end of my service with an appointment, and needed to get acetone removed from her hands that lady doing my nails had wrapped in foil and said, "excuse me- can you--" (I'm sure her hands were either hurting or were uncomfortable), and lady doing my nails interrupted her loudly in front of the whole salon, to say she's almost done with me. I felt terrible for her since she had an appointment on top of that. The fact that there's a lot of competitors for you (Nova nails) should push you to improve in timing and care with how you talk to clients and be careful about what you say you can and can not do for a service. I'm still looking for a place that is both well at communicating with clients, and has the skill set for an awesome set. Please remember to treat people kindly. I came at a time when it wasn't busy so I'm sure it played a part but she is very neat. She doesn't talk much, very quiet and professional (the way I prefer). Few things to note, 1. They need to replace that soggy couch in the front where people are waiting to be served. Sorry, I had to say it lol. 2. Overall the establishment is neat, but I do feel their sanitary practices could be a tad bit better like any other nail salon. 3. It's better to come in the morning, if possible. 4. I'm not a fan of the space used for massages. It's giving very much so storage space turned it to a lab room. I can't relax in there. Feels cranky and dingy. 5. There is one particular employee that loves wearing mini skirts and she is quite fashionable. I typically don't bother myself with what people choose to wear but when she has to bend down or squat to do your pedicure, best believe you will see her choice of underwear for that day. 6. My worst experience has been with the male nail techs. No bias here. But one burned my hand with the steam for the removal of the nail dip. Also the guys typically rush through the pedicure process and I feel like I don't get full experience.
