I was coming here for a solid few months. Every Monday with Tony... however today it was another off week. My last 2 services have been way subpar verses when I first started coming. I got fungus on my nail from my new gel overlay. Came back today for a fill in, there was no concern or apology along with 2 other nails almost all the lifted after 2 weeks!! ( Mind you when I first was coming months ago it was last 3 weeks with no lifting) Then when you ask for a design it's like they want you to get something fast or they don't tell you the truth about what they can do. I was very very unhappy with my service and because I asked him to change it because I didn't like it, he seemed upset. So I left with half a design I like and the other I don't. Mind you I did have my 4 yr old Autistic son with me, I think my sons few interruptions were maybe causing the rush as well so hence I left paying $45 for something I don't like but also feeling like they could careless about their clients. I'm very unhappy and now I have to go get them restyled and look for a new nail shop!!! Smh!!!

Okay so this is maybe my third or fourth time coming here. It's in my neighborhood so I typically go here when I can't go to my usual salon in DC since they take walk ins. I usually get the regular spa pedi (used to be $35, got bumped up to $40 which is understandable), but today I decided to treat myself to a deluxe reflexology pedi ($65). It includes everything from the deluxe pedi ($50) plus a 15 min hot lotion massage. Sam was friendly enough, though she kept trying to upsell me on services which I didn't appreciate. I got moisturizing gloves for my hands as well as a heated neck pillow during which was nice. BUT I didn't get the hot lotion reflexology massage (although she did spend about 8 min total massaging both of my calves with scrub). My cuticles aren't in good shape since she didn't spend much time on them. And the paint job is HORRENDOUS. My nails look so lumpy and bumpy. All in all, I'm likely not coming back. Last time I came and got gel on my toes, it peeled off of all my nails in two days. The customer service is decent but the shoddy end result is no where near worth $65.

This salon is good for a quick run in. I, personally, have never had a bad experience with them. Just don't expect to get your intricate designs there tho. All salons are not bad when you are aware of what they can do and what they can't do... If you know you're coming into town , I suggest you find you a private nail tech and book with them. A lot of these home based nail techs are really good! Just make EXTRA sure you investigate BEFORE booking! And whatever you do, do not get your eyebrows done there! Search up Pretty Eyebrow & Threading on Google. They're amazing with eyebrows! For nails, Go on instagram and search @Donnynails ! He's great! Good luck!

They couldn't even do French correctly and they overcharged me for a fill-in. They charge me 65 for a filling and $35 for design which is crazy I do not recommend going there. On top of that they spent three hours just to do this simple thing.

You are missing out if you're not coming here to get your nails done!!! The ambiance is beautiful and they offer you tea and water while you are getting pampered. I love my nails every time I leave and get endless compliments.

Second nail that popped off clean like a press on nail in one week

They used to have good product but no so much now. They made sure to put signs letting customers know that there will be an increase in prices due to inflation but seems to me like they got cheaper products because my nails literally start popping off like press ons I'm one week. I spent $187 on my feet, nails, and eyebrows this is unacceptable and I will be going back to my old salon. When a nail comes on clean whole nail exactly like a press on ITS THE PRODUCT I got one fixed and the next day literally another one popped off it has not even been a two weeks

Like what shape is this?!?! I'm so upset.

I was in the area and decided to stop by to get my SNS and pedicure. Let me start off by saying I've been getting sns for the past 3 years(at a different nail salon) and never had an issue. When i arrived, i was pleased with the aesthetics and was happy to be helped promptly. Long story short, my pedicure was okay. My sns however, is thick, the shaping is not what i asked for. I was pressure into tipping cash versus tipping on my credit card. If i could give this place a -5 stars I WOULD!. DO NOT COME HERE! UPDATE!!!! She fixed it... so i will give them a 3 star for the inconvenience.

gel fill in originally done by Kim, fixed by JoJo. Not perf but better than before. $30 fill, extra $3 for a cut down.

I visited Aqua Nails on a Thursday evening after work. The shop is very nice, the atmosphere is very soothing. I am currently searching for a new nail tech so I decided to try shops in my area based on yelp reviews. I got my nails done by Kim and it's obvious that I was her guinea pig so my experience was not so great. I had to go back in and have another tech fix my nails. I got my nails fixed by JoJo, and she worked a miracle! Other than being handed off to an obviously inexperienced tech, my visit was good! They have a wide variety of polishes, everybody is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. UPDATE: DO NOT let Kim do your nails or feet. She's super rough, does not paint well, very careless job each time. I try to not be rude and give her chances but never again. I got a pedicure a few days ago at another spa (my home spa, The Village Nail Bar), but wanted a polish change so I went to aqua for a basic $25 pedi just because i like the hot water and massage. I figured i'll give kim another chance cause there isn't much to do on my feet. She didn't need to file, didn't need to scrub, didn't need to cut any cuticles, i had a fresh pedicure. she literally went to WORK on my cuticles and I asked her to please stop because it hurts. There were literally no cuticles to cut. She was fast and rough like she was trying to pluck a chicken. She literally disregarded what I was saying until I had to put my hand down there to stop her. She left a cold wet towel on my legs while painting, i had to snatch that off myself. My polish was horrible, she doesn't paint corners and she isn't neat. I had to tell her to give me the bottle so I can do it myself to show her how to paint.‍ I tried, y'all.... I love JoJo and Tim, they are amazing but I can't go back to this shop if they are going to have people pay their hard earned money for trash work and totally disregard it.

I took my daughter here twice. They have a cute section set up for kids with Frozen character massage chairs and pretty decor. My daughter loves it and her nails and toes came out super cute both times. The most recent time we went was on Saturday. I decided to get a polish change on my toes and a full set. My toes are fine. Love the color. However, this full set is sloppy and rushed. Unfortunately I didn't pay it much attention until I got home later that night. I wouldn't go back for myself but I do like the kids section.

A neighbor recommended this salon since my usual spot was closed and now I'm wishing I had just waited to go to my normal spot. I went in for a pedicure yesterday evening and got a rushed job and sloppy nail polish application. The tech ( a guy, didn't get his name), didn't even bother to clean off the excess nail polish. I could have done this at home on my own. Such a waste of money.

    The decor is great!

Chris coordinated all of my reservations and handled every detail seamlessly. They truly did not miss a beat. From the beautifully curated setup to the thoughtful touches--balloons, champagne, mimosas, strawberry lemonade, sparkling water, tea, and an incredible spread of light bites (charcuterie, vegetables, fruit, nuts, and strawberry shortcake)--everything was executed flawlessly. The experience felt incredibly exclusive, almost like I had the entire spa to myself and my guests. Antonio, the owner, greeted us personally and ensured we received white glove treatment from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. I genuinely felt like a queen celebrating such a special milestone. When I walked into the lounge and saw the setup, I was overwhelmed--in the best way. I actually cried. The robes, slippers, added seating, and overall décor were stunning. Every detail felt intentional and elevated. My massage with Brenda was phenomenal. She worked out tension I didn't even realize I was carrying, and her nurturing, calming energy made the experience even more special. I left feeling relaxed, cared for, and completely restored. I'll absolutely be booking with her again--and I'm already planning to return for a facial with Ruby. If you've ever considered celebrating your birthday--or any special occasion--this way, run, don't walk to Unwind Wellness. I would rate this experience a 1000 out of 10. You will be cared for, celebrated, and treated exceptionally well.

I suspect they are either understaffed or...something...because my friend had to put in several phone calls when the online system was giving us the blues. Once we got over that hurdle, things were pretty smooth sailing. I received several confirmations in advance and when I arrived the day of there were no issues or complications. For a long while, we had the lounge relaxation area to ourselves. The snacks were water, tea, pretzel bites, wasabi peas, and some kind of unsalted nut mix. Not the best spread but I did have my share of pretzel bites. Our massage therapists arrived promptly and on the other side of our services (90 minute massage for her and 60 minute body exfoliation followed by a 60 minute massage for me) we were both incredibly relaxed. We didn't use the steam room, pool, or sauna but I'll be sure to check those out next time. The services are pricey but the facilities are nice and I wouldn't hesitate to return. Special shoutout to my massage therapist. Duane was my tech and...he did that! Very professional from beginning to end, and very good at what he does. When I was checking out, somehow I was nearly charged for both my services and my friends. I was in such a relaxed state that I didn't catch it but the staff fortunately did. All things considered, a lovely experience.

We just moved to Alexandria so we wanted to check out what this is like in case we want to come back. Our spa pass included a mimosa and access to their outdoor pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and relaxation lounges. There were also snacks and teas in the lounges. They also provide you with a locker, sandals, and a robe, and all the towels you'd ever need. The outdoor pool was fairly small but there were several places to sit outside with umbrellas so we enjoyed our time there with the view. The sauna was like the saunas in most gyms so I didn't spend much time there but I enjoyed the steam room for sure. The only reason I'm docking a star is that I don't think the spa pass was worth the $100pp it would have been normally, as the amenities were pretty standard and the women's locker room was pretty small. It def makes sense being in the MGM resort and can be great for guests but I'd rather spend my money at a standalone spa like King Spa that had more unique offerings. Still was a great day though and great to know this is right there in case we wanted to come back or try a massage etc.
