I received a lot of pictures of her on facebook. It made me happy to see her having fun. The employees must love coming to work. The vibe is good. All employees were very kind happy well knowledged. I don't usually post reviews but I have to say was completely disappointed in my experience with Love Unleashed. This was only the meet and greet, so take this for what it's worth. I took my dog in to see the facility and maybe some of it's my fault for not coming by before to check it out... but I feel like he was set up to fail. I have a six month old Maltipoo. He loves everyone and everything. Always wants to say hello. I have videos of him at the dog park playing with dogs. Of him at the pool on the last day of it being open before they empty. He says hello to everyone. We got to the Crestwood facility and I was greeted by a guy (don't know his name because he didn't say). He basically said hello, looks like we have everything we need... so I'm going to take him in the back on the leash and then I'll take it off in there to see how he does. You stay here, we'll be back. I was kind of in shock really and am mad at myself for not asking a few questions. Maybe five minutes later he came out and said he was not aggressive at all but I'm going to have to fail him. He was just terrified. Really?? That's surprising to you? He had no idea where he was. We weren't asked if we'd like a tour first. He didn't get down and introduce himself to Leo, try to make him feel comfortable. I must say I'm thankful he failed, it saved me from letting someone like that guy take care of my pup. And thank you for the experience because I am now prepared when I visit another. read more

Our first day was amazing! They took pictures of our puppy and gave us a cute report card! We were so excited. Since that first day it's been more of a mixed bag. There's one employee, Riece, that loves our dog, so we love when she's working - I try to call to find out her schedule ! Some of the other employees have been polite but brief and a couple others have been less than polite. With more consistent customer warmth, this review would be 4+ stars for sure. Where do I even start! The staff at LU are exceptional. I completely trust them with my pups. There's something very comforting knowing that when you are away, there is a routine. No extra cost for playtime like most places. These dogs are playing from 5am to 8pm. Eat, sleep & play....then come home pooped! My favorite is the event weeks. Monday's are picture day. The side of our fridge is completely covered in photos from LU's creative, fun photo sessions. I also look forward to the report cards. We began taking our German Shepherd puppy to Love Unleashed in Crestwood almost 4 years ago when she was 4 months old. I have recommended them to several people since we stared going there and have always had good experiences with them. She has stayed numerous times over the years (most recently in August) with no issues whatsoever, but her last visit was different. She was there for 8 nights (10/19-10/27) while we were on vacation. She was to be bathed and have her nails done while we were gone. We picked her up and this had not been done. When I questioned the employee checking us out, his response was "Yeah...we didn't get around to it" Lexie was very quiet when we picked up her, but she is usually exhausted from playing so I didn't think a lot of it. She went down and slept in the basement for the night. We received a strange phone call from Love Unleashed on Sunday morning telling us they thought it would be best if Lexie didn't return to the kennel. She hadn't "done anything wrong" and "they all love her so much", but she shouldn't come back because she was "stressed." When she woke up and came out of the basement on Sunday morning she had a green goop coming out of both eyes and was very lethargic. Anytime we would try to pet her or get close to her she would cower to the floor and shrink away in fear. What happened to my baby!!! Since it is usually younger people at the front desk, I sent an email hoping to get ahold of someone who knew something about what was going on. I also asked if she had been medicated with anything as she was completely out of it. I asked why we weren't contacted if there were issues during the week as they have several emergency numbers on hand and our email address, or why we weren't talked to when we picked her up. Something had obviously happened as she was afraid of anything that moved. I did receive a few emails from the District Manager assuring me that nothing had happened, she had not been medicated and we were "welcome to bring her back anytime" if we wanted too. She said the owner would contact me ASAP regarding this issue. I have waited over a week for any response from him and nothing. Maybe they have grown too fast and can't keep up, but something has changed at Love Unleashed. If you care for your puppies as much as we care for ours I would suggest you look elsewhere for their boarding. read more

I love Love Unleashed and my dogs love it even more. They get so excited when they get in the car and realize where we are headed! They don't want to come home at the end of the day. The staff really gets to know the personality of each dog and works with them accordingly. They also play and interact with the dogs all day. They don't just put them in a pen with a bunch of other dogs--they play ball, throw them toys, engage them in fun activities and give them lots of love and affection. Love Unleashed is very neat and tidy--obviously very important. They are very clever about planning different theme weeks and offer home-made treats. I also love the "camper of the week" program and the "tuckered pup contest." While some of these features may be more appealing to the humans, it is evident that the dogs enjoy all the attention and themes in their own way. (e.g. the Luau party complete with pools and games--entertaining for the humans--lots of fun for the dogs!) Even though I work out of my house, and am home much of the day, I see how much my dogs are benefiting from playing with a "larger pack. Love Unleashed has a wonderful family-friendly atmosphere and I have recommended them to all of my friends with dogs! read more

I do not usually do this, but I'm so grateful to their service that I have to take a moment to give love to Love Unleashed and their staff, especially Kati Wright and Sandy. We have been a client of theirs for eight months. We do regular weekly doggie daycare, overnight boarding, and grooming at their facility. I am the kind of dog mom (to a year and a half old puppy) who is a little intense with how much I feel like he is a member of our family and deserves the best. I looked at other facilities and I was not impressed- by the places, staff and pricing. On my first visit to Love Unleashed I felt immediately that this was the right place. Weston and Shannon greeted us -- It's name alone was felt instantly - LOVE! I'm so incredibly happy with how much Tucker loves going there. He can't wait to see his friends and play. I'm so impressed with the staff. I can't say enough how much they love the fur babies. Especially Kati and Sandy, among so many others. Kati every day makes Tucker feel like he's the favorite, and I'm confident that is just her personality with all the dogs - they all feel loved and happy with her. I'm truly impressed. I don't think I'll be able to say all of the amazing things about Love Unleashed. My puppy has been going to the Chippewa location since she was 4 months old and she is always so happy when we arrive and after a day of playing. The staff are amazing! They always know who I'm there to pick up and I am given a daily report card, which I love to see. It's always personalized about my dog and even though that's just a little thing, it means a lot to me. I've used other dog daycares in the past for a different dog and the difference with Love Unleashed is they are small and it's very personal. There are not too many dogs there at a time and they really know the personalities of the dogs that come. They take daycare appointments last minute and that is what prompted me to write this review. Yesterday I emailed back and forth with Cat from the Chippewa location about having my pup come later in the day and also needing a late pickup. She was VERY responsive and accommodating and it made me feel great about needing to leave my dog for a late pickup. Also, they put 100s of pictures on facebook every day, which is just the best to see when I'm missing my girl during the day or for a weekend when she's boarded. Love Unleash has a superior staff that is dedicated to knowing my dogs & their favorite play toys and buddies. My kids love going there & they are ALWAYS welcomed by name. (That's more important to me than their remembering MY name!) I went there right after they opened to inquire (ie: investigate) the facility. I am in the dog "business" I am VERY particular where my dogs go. THEY ROCKED! I ask about 20 questions when I go to a facility I am unfamiliar with. Not only did they answer ALL my questions. They even answered some of them before I asked them! They had their applications out front & went over them carefully. They asked specific questions about my dogs. (Size, temperament, play style, background. Mine are both rescued. Background information is so important & not something everyone asks about.) They showed me the facility and explained how they do dog introductions. This is one of the most important steps in the dog daycare process! This was VERY important to me! They take such good care of my kids. They post pictures on Facebook. I get to share them with my friends! Though it can be a little hard to find it is SOOOOOO WORTH going there! read more

I can't even explain how grateful I am to have found such an amazing place!!! Our puppy goes to the Chippewa location that just recently opened. It's a wonderful option living in the city when he needs that extra time and room to run about. He didn't have a great start on life, but since adopting him we started taking him to LU for daycare for socializing. In just one month we notice a huge difference in how he interacts with our older dogs at home. They don't just put them in a play area and not pay attention to him like I have experienced in a prior daycare. He is socialized, corrected (in a good way) when needed, and taught how to interact with his other furry friends. They truly care about our pets when they are there. I love love love the the wine and painting night with our pooch as it allowed us not only a great night out, but we were able to see where our precious boy played all day. The report cards and FB pictures are daily and I LOVE being able to see my pooch in play. Like I said, can't say enough good things about the services LU provides. We do frequent the Chippewa location, but will try Crestwood soon! Pricing is very comparable to other local spots, but the care provided is far superb!! read more

This is the BEST doggy daycare in the St. Louis, Missouri area. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! All the staff are personable and treat fur babies (dogs) like their own. They are loving and affectionate to all the dogs. They have an outside area for potty times and fun activities throughout the year. They throw birthday parties for our fur babies and take really cute pictures :) They have a great bath package, which includes nail trim and The hours of daycare is convenient and they are flexible. I have not boarded my dog here yet, but if something came up I would trust the staff at Love Unleashed to take good care of my fur baby :) Thank you to all the staff at Love Unleashed for taking such great care of our beloved fur babies. The bath special is amazing for $20.00 your fur baby gets shampooed, anal glands expressed, blow dried, brushed out, nails trimmed, and their ears cleaned! It's a great deal! The pet store up the street from my house charges $14 just for a nail trim... I would rather take my fur baby here and she enjoys a day at the spa and gets to play with her friends :) (Of course the bath is $20 extra, it's not included with the daycare fee.) read more

I feel very inclined to write a review because I just spent a year of my dog's time and my money wasted on a local competitor. For a year after I moved her from Michigan, my dogs went to a daycare facility that was "ok". I never liked it that much but my dogs came home safe and I was so busy that I didn't have time to research somewhere else. I stayed because it was convenient. Well about a month ago my last straw was broke when my husband when to get our dogs, and they didn't know who one of them was. How do you not know? They have been customers for a year and actually at daycare for the past 8 hours??? So we researched and decided to try Love Unleashed. After 1 visit, we knew this was the place for us! My dogs have now been going for a month and I am still just as happy as I was on day 1. They know my dogs by name and face! That is huge! This lets me know that they are at least getting some kind of individualized attention My dogs come home EXHAUSTED, for like 2 days! This tells me they are playing and playing and wearing themselves out. If I didn't care if they exercised and played or not, I would save my money and leave them home! At our other facility, my dogs would come home and not even be that tired. What were they doing all day, sleeping? I am not paying 50 dollars for my dogs to sleep! They give a report card to me! I love knowing stories of who they played with and what they did! I enjoy that! Maybe I am crazy but then again I am paying 50 dollars a day for my two dogs to go to daycare. Its safe to say I am a crazy dog lady! They post pictures and my dogs look happy in the pictures. They are wagging their tails and smiling (I have a keeshond and they are called the smiling dutchman so they can make an actual smile) They threw my one dog a birthday party on her first day because it was her birthday! She got treats and birthday hats and special attention! HOW COOL IS THAT! They fed my dogs! This might seem silly but at my old day care place my dogs "never ate their food" for some strange reason. I found it hard to believe since my keeshond is always hungry and always trying to steal her sisters food but I thought MAYBE it was because she was busy playing. Well at this facility both of my dogs ate their food! Which tells me that the staff actually remembered to feed them! The prices are all about the same. So why spend money on a mediocre doggy day care when you can spend money on an EXCEPTIONAL doggy daycare! read more

Love Unleashed is the best!! I love them but more importantly my dogs can't wait to go!!!! They literally can't wait to walk through the door to play. The staff knows all three of my fur legged babies. They know their personalities and who they played with that day. I love the report card I get!! They play with my babies and share pictures on Facebook. They have lots of toys and even a castle to play in. I know they care about my boys. I have even left them overnight to board. I have not left my dogs overnight unless it was with a family member. My dogs have participated in painting, themed days, special treats of the day. They have gone above and beyond to make sure my older dog had lots of playtime but time to rest on a cot with a blanket since he has a bad knee. It amazes me how attentive they are to the needs of the dogs at Love Unleashed. My boys love them.and I them. I feel like Love Unleashed is an extended family. read more

I am SO grateful to their service and the tender loving care that they show each and every furbaby and human that walks in the door! The staff is exceptional and each and everyone of them is totally awesome!!!! To give you a flavor for just how awesome - I picked up my baby on Sunday and not 30 mins later I got a phone call from Sandy, indicating that we had left Barkley's meds at the kennel! Oh No!!! Sandy, without hesitation and suggestion by me, offered to drive by and drop them off at my house! Wow! That is service! . We have been a client of theirs for several years and plan on remaining with them! Believe me, I have used many kennels in the STL area and NONE compare to Love Unleashed! I am the most picky person that you would ever meet and I have extremely high standards and Love Unleashed hits the mark EVERY TIME! We do regular overnight boarding at their facility. My dog is a member of our family and deserves the best. I looked at other facilities and I was not impressed- by the places, staff and pricing.
