When contacted about their insurance because of the fire (we don't have a few grand for unexpected medical expenses laying around) we were met with radio silence as to the insurer as well as a response that there's a waiver (they won't provide a copy of) so they don't need to address our concerns. Look we get that our dog could come back with kennel cough (even if they are vaxed) or some parasite because some other dog gave them something - not that the whole building burned down (which no one told us about! Had to find out via a neighbor who happened to see it on FB). When we politely asked for their insurance info again we were met with "we don't have to answer that and we are now sending anything else to spam and will throw away any letter you send us" I don't know about everyone else but that's not how I think you run a business especially after almost killing 70 dogs. read more

My pup absolutely loves it at A Howling Good Time she starts getting excited as soon as we pull into the parking lot and is dragging me inside. The staff are so warm and welcoming towards us and absolutely love my pup. I never have to worry about her while she's there, I hear all about how she plays with her friends and the best friends she's made. The prices are fantastic which I feel says a lot (especially in this economy) they also have grooming and boarding. I have not used boarding but they did an amazing job when she got groomed. I needed last minute boarding over Christmas weekend+ and after calling the places close to home that were booked and/or needed an additional vaccine and a sniff around again, I thought I'd give that place with the adorable billboard a call. It was Saturday morning and they had space, but he'd need a sniff around. I got him there in time for the visit and all went well. They don't charge extra to give meds, very reasonable in how they accept food (no single bagging meals unless I wanted to) and they were interested in what & how he ate and lived. Very impressive questionnaire too. He seemed very happy when I picked him up. Not the closest to home, but I'll definitely take him back. Maybe even for an unnecessary daycare visit. read more

This place is great for our Gus. He has issues with large groups of dogs so he stays in one of there 4' x 4'x8' dog runs and loves it! He begs every morning to go to school!if it were not for the great staff there Gus would not be the dog he is today. He is well loved there and we trust them completely to care for our fur babies. I recommend them to all my friends and family. Pay no attention to the disgruntled employee posting the pictures of the dogs in their spacious dog runs. One of them is my dog and I can assure you he is happy and not mistreated. read more

We dropped our skittish pup there for an overnight stay. Michelle and Barb understood her needs and worked with her without restricting her. The arrangements there are amazing. Non concrete common inside grounds, individual pens not cages. I can not believe how clean and clean smelling it was. Aunt Barb and Aunt Michelle, (Nicknames of course) are my Two Dog's favorite people! They absolutely love it there. For starters, it is not your typical dog boarding facility. No cages, no cement, all love. Each dog receives their own pen or sleep are surrounded by white picket fence with green putting grass, and either a couch of chair in each one. Don't worry, about your pooch being cooped all day, because they'll be given all day play time in the spacey, open room, and also in the outdoor play yard. With the new edition being built, your dog will for sure enjoy themselves. Whether it be for a short weekend, a lengthy vacation, or just daycare, your dogs will feel 100% comfortable and cared for by an extremely loving staff. After a year, I discovered that I had left my comments on a Yelp page for a business with a similar name. So, I'm going to simply copy/paste what I wrote then because my opinion hasn't changed. I will add that I have found better services than the other daycare facility I referred to as "my current daycare". Still ... A Howlin' Good Time is the best! (I wish I could rate this 100 Stars!) When I lived in Missouri, earlier this year, my Gracie went to A Howlin' Good Time daycare from the day she was old enough to have her Bordetella shot (at 12 weeks old). Gracie also spent several nights at A Howlin' Good Time and took advantage of their grooming services. While we were in Missouri, I knew this was a 5-Star facility and I knew my Gracie got the best love and service one could get. But I never realized how good A Howlin' Good Time is until I moved away and have used other daycare and overnight services. At A Howlin' Good Time, every staff person knows each pet's name and they know each pet's personal belongings, like harnesses, leashes, etc. At my current daycare, Gracie sometimes comes home with a nametag on her collar (which concerns me that her collar isn't removed during the day) and her name is written on masking tape and stuck to her leach (although I have my nametag on her leash and have asked them to not put masking tape on it). I always thought Gracie didn't love me as much as the Howlin' Good Time staff ... especially Adam. She was always happy to get to daycare, each morning, and not always thrilled to leave. At her new daycare, the staff processes Gracie in and out ... it's almost like she's a number in queue. And she's not so excited about being there. When I picked up Gracie from A Howlin' Good Time, she was mostly clean ... only ruffled from playing so hard with other fur babies. And best of all, she was exhausted from her day's activities. Now when I pick her up from her new daycare, she has wood chip shavings in her hair and she's a mess. At A Howlin' Good Time, potty time is outside in the cleanest environment. In addition to A Howlin' Good Time providing a clean and safe facility, they provide constant attention and entertainment. I've seen photos where the pups chase soap bubbles and play with toys ... as well as take a nap in a separate safe cubicle. They have a full day of attention and activity. The Howlin' Good Time price and fee structure is absolutely reasonable and worth every penny I paid. Gracie got a great start in life with socialization and with trusting people who gave her such loving care. There are not enough words to describe how great Michele and her staff are and how superior A Howlin' Good Time is to three other facilities I've used, since I moved from Missouri. I think Michele's next venture should be consulting with pet care facility owners so better options can be found in other cities. She certainly knows what she's doing and Gracie & I love Michele and her staff for all of the great care we got. read more

My dog has attended this daycare for three months. This place wears down the dog's energy level, but I have noticed that the food that the owners supply for their "so called","lunch time," is never really provided. Every time my dog comes home from this place, he whimpers and rushes straight for his food bowl. The one time that I called to question the multiple occurrences, I was immediately put on hold and dismissed. If I could put negative stars, I definitely would. read more
