I've been going to love nails for over 25 years. And it was recently sold yet the sign outside still said love nails. I had a $35 gift certificate from 6 months prior and new owner refused to use it. Horrible customer service experience with the new owner. Very very disappointed in how I got treated. Never going back- and telling everyone what happened. My first time here, went on a desperate whim as my last pedi was in December. Walked in, was warmly greated & shown to a chair immediately. Most nil salons are similar to this, but the purple scrub they use here smells amazing! Other salons use a green minty one that I cannot stand. So, a plus here. I got the simple pedi & still had the foot/ankle massage. Heavenly! They have an excellent choice of polish. It is extremely clean. The employees are lovely. This is my new go to! So my 2nd time there, it was pretty empty so they took me right away, but my pedi just didn't come out all that great. They barely trimmed my nails (probably so you have to go back sooner), & they were all different sizes. Weird. Only one pass with the top coat guarantees it won't last. This is your typical shopping mall nail salon. Can be hit or miss depending on who your nail technician is. The owner is friendly and staff is polite. In relation to the actual service I paid for, I was not satisfied. I got a regular mani/pedi and these were the manicure results: very short and jaggedy nails. Needless to say, I could've probably done a better job at home and saved myself $40. The pictures were taken less than an hour after my manicure and look like a homemade manicure on week two. Went in for a manicure , asked for nails to be square w soft corners (ya know, the everyday shape neat and clean) and got exaggerated over the top flat with 90* sharp ass corners. Asked them to be fixed, not much better. Cuticles were barley touched, some places she acted as if she cut and she did not. I work in healthcare I am 24/7 washing my hands and hand sanitizing, I KNOW I have dry skin and cuticles to be cut. Painted my nails with bubbles, streaks, and connecting to the skin on the sides of my nails. No lotion , massage or oil and charged $17. For a salon in Wellington, you'd expect more. This was by far a lapse in judgement to go to a random place as a walk in. Never will I be back, and I will certainly be sharing my experience with others as I said I see a lot of patients daily and I am always asked about my nails. Got my nails done here for my wedding and it was great. I haven't had my nails done in years and this was a nice experience. Wonderful place! My mother and I went on a Monday afternoon and were able to be taken right away. The greater was so polite and warm and it was so nice to not be yelled at asking what we wanted. My mom got a Nexgen change and I got a pedicure. Kelly did my pedicure and it was AMAZING. She paid attention to my toes and the massage was to die for! She did a really nice job with the polish, and I got white so you could see all the strokes. My mom enjoyed her manicure done by Tyler. He didn't speak much English I believe but he still did a great job and her nails came out so lovely. I thoroughly respect the personnel at Love Nails, I know them by name, their kids' names. One, a college graduate in her country, just became an American citizen, after only 4 yrs. in the USA. She answered all 100 Q's on a preliminary test correctly, scored perfect on her final. After her 8 hr day at Love Nails, she teaches English, free of charge, to other immigrants. My mom, my two sisters and myself just left our nail appointment for my sisters wedding. Two of us got nexgen French manicures, my mom got a gel manicure, and my other sister got acrylic with French...the worst French I have EVER seen. It's honestly laughable. Besides the fact that it all totaled to $164, and the ladies at the front were defending this horrific nail job as if it were acceptable. We've all come to this nail salon in the past and never experienced anything like this. You should never see the white part of your real nail under the acrylic, especially right after it's been freshly done..anyone who's ever gotten or seen acrylic nails know this. It looks ridiculous and now we're going home to remove the polish and paint over it since we can't afford more money to fix this botched job. Not satisfied at all with the service we received today. On 7/21/16 I made an appointment and ask to see Mai because of a prior bad experience I had. When I arrived, the receptionist was wonderful smiled and greeted me. I spoke to Mai and told her I was there to see her. Alarmed she said, "me, oh no!" I was taken by surprise and tried to explain that although I had not been there for awhile I requested for her to do my mani, pedi.
