I asked for pink French tips. The guy who did my Nails could not match the acrylic to the color currently on my fingers and put a totally different color. When that didn't look good he tried to paint over it with gel polish and do a French tip over that. It looked even worse. He then did pink all over (not what I asked for) I leave for Vegas on Thursday and would've went to another nail shop that could do a basic French tip. They also charged me $70 for a FILL. SO HAPPY with my nails. This was my first time visiting Love Nails. I was a walk-in and Cindy did my nails. She removed my grown out acrylic/gel and I did the powder/dip. I live close to this salon and am happy to know I have found my regular spot now! Cindy was careful, efficient and I will definitely be going back here as my regular place. I can't speak for the other technicians, but from my experience today I recommend Cindy. She filed them evenly and did the shape that I asked. I had showed her a picture of my nails when they were a shape that I liked, and she did that. Very friendly staff. The man working there Ton? I went to Love Nails wanting to love it because it's right next to the gym so it's convenient. However, I asked for a pink and white ombré. It seemed like only one lady was experienced enough to do the job. Obviously not. She was nice which was great but she did a terrible job of keeping the cuticles clean. Profile view of my nails are terrible. It's 5 days until my wedding and I have to get them redone. I tried calling to see when a manager would be in to see if we can do something about it, they told me the time of when the salon closed for when the manager would be in. I have been getting my nails done here for years because they are friendly, kind and always do such a nice job on my nails whether it has been acrylic, pedicures, gel or dips. I accidentally dropped a hundred dollar bill in there the other day. When they found it, they went out of their way to go to where my daughter works next-door to get her number from the manager to call me so that they could return my money to me. That was my bill money and it would've been a strain for our family if it would have been lost. I appreciate them finding me and returning my money I am so grateful! read more

Worst nail salon ever. No upkeep on chairs, walls or appearance. Sink chipped. Looks like they pulled out of a dumpster and put in salon without painting. Asked to file down a little. One had was left long and other hand was cut down to skin. So upsetting, luckily my nail grow fast. Did not do any base coat. Painted gel foundation directly to nail. Salon does lots of fills with limited colors. They are clueless on natural nails. Stay away from this place. This place was recommended to me by a friend after having a bad experience at a different salon (cut and scraped my feet raw). They weren't overly busy on the Friday night I came in and were able to get me in right away. I was asked upon sitting down which pedicure I wanted - the regular or upgrade that included a scrub and callous removal ($25 and $35 respectively). I went with the upgrade and was so glad I did. The $35 pedicure included a calf scrub/message, callous removal, wax treatment and a foot massage. It was divine. I was there for around 45 minutes, so make sure to set aside enough time and don't have something planned right after. They take their time at Love Nails but it's completely worth it! The Deluxe pedi is 10 dollars more, but it includes a mask/hot towel, sea salt scrub, and paraffin wax for your feet. Plus a long massage for your feet/calves. It was definitely worth it. I always get them taken out and they never hurt and this time I wanted to cry. She yanked them out. If I could choose to see THIS person again, exclusively, I definitely would. However, pedicures happening in neighboring chairs were much more perfunctory and done much more quickly, so I get the sense that my experience was more related to my particular pedicurist, rather than the shop as a whole. read more

I went to Love nails years ago and I loved the lady who did my nails. She always did a good job. I moved out of the area but was in that area visiting yesterday(April 1,2017) a friend and we went to get our mani's and pedi's. First of all the prices are totally ridiculous. They charge $25 for a basic mani and $15 for gel polish...which I didn't know until afterwards. So I also wanted a gel overlay on my nails. We started with pedi's and all they did was cut and file your toenail,dip your feet in bags of wax,lotion your legs and feet and paint your toe nails. They did no massage and no scraping the dead skin off or anything. So the person who used to do my nails was there so I requested her for my nails. I don't know what her problem was or if she was angry or didn't want to do it, but she did a HORRIBLE JOB on my nails. One of them was extemely crooked and lifted so I asked her if she was going to fix it and she told me "it was my pinger"(finger). My nails were all uneven and extremely thick and unnatural looking. She was very rough and sloppy and by the time I got done I was charged $90 in total and told that my nails cost $35 plus $15 for the gel polish! I was in total shock and disbelief because she would always do such a good job. I left there peeling dried gel powder off of my fingers! They have definitely gone down hill and I will not be back nor would I recommend anyone to go there. There services are not worthy of the price they are charging people. I can go to a nail shop in Eagan and get way better service at a cheaper price. I see a lot of negative reviews in them so if they are treating their customers like that....than its time to hit them where it hurts and that's in their pockets. I am highly disappointed. read more

I was in last week for a pedicure and manicure and while the service and pricing was good - I was cut a few times on both my toes and fingers while they cleaned up my cuticles. I was cut so bad on my toe that I ended up in Urgent Care with a severe infection. I've been nicked before while getting pedicures but have never had anything like this happen. I unfortunately, never saw them clean the tub as it was already filled and bubbling by the time I got there ( I was late to meet some friends for a pedicure there). I am now on anti-biotics and in a boot as I can' wear a normal shoes, needless to say I won't ever be back. read more
