A friend in Ventura recomended the spa and the clinician. Other med spas in Ventura had higher IPL pricing and those spas could not justify, to me, why their prices were higher, so I went to Plush! The first IPL treatment had dramatic results...improved my skin texture, including smoothness and skin look and feel, reduced redness on my chin, massively reduced spots and discoloration. With the 2nd treatment of IPL the clinician used a smaller head to deliver the pulsed light to target smaller zones on my face (I wish this was provided in the first treatment as well). Was the price worth the results? Yes Did they deliver and know what they were doing? Yes Was a short prep with numbing cream worth it? Yes

This is yet another area where they failed me- as neither the receptionist that booked my appointment told me this, nor was I told this when I checked in for my services, nor did the woman that did my service tell me the area needs to be shaved before she worked on me. So, this is the first time I'm hearing this, despite THREE employees saying nothing of the sort. And yet, they still feel justified in not refunding me, and not extending any level of proper care or customer service to me. They are TRULY a horrible, unprofessional, low quality med spa. ** Bad experience and terrible customer service after the fact. I made an appointment for Laser Hair Removal, which I've had done on various parts of my body over the years at various med spas. I was going to be in Ventura on a week long road-trip down south, and decided to try this place for my LHR. I had a fancy gala at the end of the week for an LA event with lawyers and judges, so always some primping is done to look my best. A girl's gotta look polished for this type of shin dig... and it's pretty fun getting ready. Except when it's not, and that's what happened at this place. When I made the appt, I asked the woman on the phone about numbing cream for my face, she informed me that I wouldn't need it bc it's a fast moving wand. I had never experienced this type of machine before, but when I asked her if it was the same result where all the hair falls off or can be easily wiped off after treatment, she simply replied, "yes". This was not the case, as I learned AFTER I spent $200 and wasted my time with this place. I left still looking like Chewbacca, and I emailed the office to let them know I was not satisfied. This is when I was told that each treatment would remove about 20% of the visible hair. Had I known this when I called to get info, I WOULD NOT HAVE BOOKED THE APPT. I absolutely would not and could not show up to this gala looking like Chewbacca. When I asked to get my money back, I was told they have a no refunds policy. I asked them if they insist on their no refunds policy despite misrepresentation and flat out lying to me about the treatment results ... and no one responded -nor have I been refunded. Churn and burn is a bad business practice! Just gross and unethical business practices all the way around- from the woman at the front desk that made my appointment, to Angela that did my treatment (by the way, in an email she said she "assured me that I had some hair loss even though there was a lot of hair left"), to Sabina that went totally quiet after I disputed their no refund policy calling out their unethical practice of misinformation and misrepresentation. Also, upon further research I notice that a handful of the reviews are from their own employees (always with the no profile pic and only one review in their profile). Absolutely do not go here, and do not trust these people.

Short story, they harassed me at work the next day MULTIPLE times, about not having it on file that I canceled, had the nerve to ask me for screen shots of my call log to prove I called etc, I said sure! I also told her my new job starts the following Monday and my daughter's birthday was the upcoming Saturday. Normally this would not have been an issue as it would have been all healed up by then. I have been getting fillers and Botox for about 20 years now. I have always gone to Peter Karlsberg, MD in Ventura, but I wanted to stay local in Camarillo and get some fillers. I told the technician who was putting the numbing cream on me that this will only last 10 to 15 minutes on me. Same with Novacaine ect. I asked him to please do not wait too long as the numbing effect will dissipate. I'll make this short despite the fact that it is not. These are the treatments I received from Veronica: 2 syringes of Voluma RHA 2/ RHA 3 It was not as some of these reviews state. Yes they were friendly, as they should be. As well, some post that they are reasonably priced, their products are higher than the average M.D doing fillers in the Ventura County area. I had specifically expressed to Veronica that my 1st priority was my Nasolabial folds (lines between your nose and cheeks) needed filler. Veronica said that it was due to bone loss and she couldn't use filler above the nostril line.... ???? This was 'a first' in 15 plus years. My 2nd priority was my lips, I like them fairly full and puffy/pouty, which we also discussed. By the time we got to the injections the numbing cream had worn off, and it has in the past but they just reapply numbing cream and wait 5 minutes, yet this was not the case in this facility. The injections in my cheek bones were extremely painful as I could feel everything. When Veronica started on my lips I came out of my seat. I told her I could feel that and I am not numb any longer. Veronica's response was that there is lidocaine to help with the numbing, yet that was after it pierced your skin that was not numb. Veronica used 2 syringes of Voluma in my cheek bones, which after the product settles it leaves a dip between your lower eyelid and cheekbone if too much filler is injected. So, that is now what I have. My lips, I will need to go back to my Dr, Dr Peter Karlsberg in Ventura to have my lips redone and fill the pockets under each of my eyes. The total cost of this experience was $2435.00 with $1500.00 paid in cash (no cash discount-very unusual) I have included photos from the day after up to this morning of very visible bruising. Along with a billing statement. Expensive lesson that's all I can say. S.W.
