Still a huge fan of BA. Guess who already got filler? This B. I must inform you 'my beloved' Megan is no longer with BA as she moved! I know I know... however, give LESLIE a shot. She is the OG (owner) of BA and knows her ISH!!! You want a pro if you're new to this. She has a spicy and lively personality and I feel comfortable with my engagement and her extreme expertise. She has a real keen eye and love the filler (HA filler) that we did on my cheeks. It's natural enough "they're gonna know...they're never gonna know" - but gives me lots of confidence and is so natural looking!! I considered tear troph filler for under eye bags. Just had my first facial done here and it was the best facial I have ever had! Sabina got me checked in quickly and efficiently. I got there super early (I'm never late anywhere), she made sure I had a bottle of water and kept me informed about the procedure I was about to receive. Sabina had me scan a QR code for an app called Allē which gives you points for every procedure you get. Meghan was my technician and she was amazing! Well did not want to leave this but felt compelled to do so. I wanted to let Beyond Aesthetics(Camarillo) know that the walls and doors aren't as thick as you think they are. The treatment I had done was alright not outstanding and not bad just okay. The true dissappointment is hearing the staff talk about another client and how they talked and laughed about them. Does that mean they did that about me? The things they said were pretty nasty and the way the made fun of the client was bad and I heard the majority of it. I won't go back based on the unprofessionalism of the discussing clients within earshot of other clients. This was my first visit to the Beyond Aesthetics in Camarillo. I had some botox at the Ventura location, but wanted to try the BBL treatment for dark spots. I have done IPL in the past, and was pleased with the results. BBL is a new procedure for me, but Aimee ( the nurse who administered the treatment) was wonderful. She was very patient and explained, in detail, the entire process. She told me how each set of "passes" over my face accomplished different things, ie. collagen production, red pigment reduction and finally brown pigment reduction. I was very happy with her thorough approach. I am already seeing the dark spots darken (as they are supposed to) on my first day! I have been very happy with the services I received from Aimee Kvandal, NP. I got the Halo Facial and BBL treatment on my arms (and spot treatment BBL on my neck and chest area). My face is much more even and-toned, and my arms have had an amazing reduction in dark spots and hyperpigmentation (after two treatments). Also, Aimee is very nice and helpful in explaining everything and what to expect. Some of the treatments might be mildly uncomfortable, but she prepares you for that and also has such a good personality, it helps you get through anything that's a little tough. I went in for dermaplaning with Kim... Expectations: Clean my face, scrape off dead skin cells then moisturize. Reality: Hands dipped in paraffin wax that stayed on until the end, full on facial with hot blankets, steam and the whole 9 yards, then came the dermaplaning followed by extractions, under eye treatment and moisturizers, finished with a long shoulder rub! I also had a botox nightmare about a year and a half ago but didn't want to write a bad review because they all are so lovely and nice. I had gotten amazing botox at a place in Woodland Hills but moved and given how glowing the reviews were, I decided to give them a try. I made the mistake of getting botox and fillers. Neither were good. The botox caused a droopy eye and also left me with a dent in my forehead. The fillers were not smoothed out and were lumpy. Leslie did work on both (I love her as a person and I don't want this to effect her business but I do think it's important to know - if you don't have a great experience with her you are not alone). I went to someone previous who was very good and conservative with her injections. While Leslie injected I started worrying because I could feel some tingling in my eyelid and it later started drooping. Fortunately with Botox it isn't permanent. With my fillers, I had no idea they weren't supposed to be lumpy. It wasn't until a friend pointed out my tear ducts and asked if I had a bug bite. Nope. The fillers. I was so scared after the bad botox to ask her to fix it, that I just waited it out until it wore away and now I haven't gotten botox since because of them. I really do wish them the best, but I think they should really be conservative or learn points of injections better... read more
