I have been to only one other medi spa for my facials. My esthetician moved out of town so this was the opportunity for me to find a new spa. I made a consultation appointment to speak with one of their providers. (They do charge $25 but put it towards future treatments.) Corrine was available and was the nicest , kindest, informative PA. I knew I had her full attention and any questions I had she answered with great knowledge. I felt like she put a lot of time and effort into the simple consult. I received great customer service starting from arrival all the way to being checked out! More commonly these days I find it hard to find good quality front and back staff. Never coming here again and you shouldn't either. Came in as a first time client after moving to the area. Booked an appointment for Botox. Came in and was treated with 55 units of Botox. I've been getting Botox for years so was shocked when I still had movement in all the places that were treated 2weeks later. Came back in and was told perhaps I have built a tolerance but was given a 'touch up' .... 2 weeks later still movement in all the places. Came back a third time saw someone else and was told they couldn't treat me again but ultimately did. 2 weeks later still movement. I don't know what kind of business they are running but after 55 units my face shouldn't be this expressive. I'm disappointed to be out $660 and see no results. I will never come here again and you should consider going somewhere else. read more

I called and they said they would try again "just on the 2 spots" for another fee of $100. I have had the procedure before and just wanted to try B/A out. She's honest and doesn't try to oversell and really listens to what Your wants and needs are. I ended up booking an appointment with Kimberly for microneedling the following few days. I did not want to write a bad review but being how many services I have received over the years with different spas I felt the need to write it. This was my first time coming here and when I first walked in it was clean which is a plus! I felt like I was going to be taken care of here. I was about 10 min late because I'm new to the area and was lost, in my mind they would probably deduct 10 min off my facial and that was ok. As I was walking in Kim the esthetician seemed in a rush, greeted me sat me down and asked if I had make up on. I said no and I know why they ask so they won't have to wash your face; Although, in other spas they still wash my face. Anyhow, She was happy to hear that, I sat down and immediately my face was wiped down with alcohol. ALCOHOL. You do not clean someone's face with alcohol. That is very drying on the face and my face is already dry and she noticed that. That was my first red flag. Being the person that I am I did not say anything because I felt it was my fault for being late. Anyhow, she dermasweeps my face a couple of times and then used an infuser a couple more times, applied sunscreen and done! DONE. Literally, 25 min and a $180 treatment. I have gotten dermasweep services before that have lasted 1 hour and I have never paid so much for a facial that lasted 25 min unless it was a peel. I'm not from Oxnard and I'm starting to think that the quality of time and effort this spa places into their facials and dermasweep services is very very poor. That said I will never come here again. If you guys are ever by Newport or Claremont try the treatment room! You will not be disappointed on the quality of services they have to offer. Reply to owner: Thank you for clarifying the time it takes for services. Unfortunately, as you said that was not made clear to me and it wasn't stated anywhere else. So disappointing! My daughter took me here for a facial.. we had it scheduled for two of us to receive facials at the same time. When we got there, the receptionist talked my daughter into another service where it was 30 minutes LESS time and we sat in the room with each other.... PLUS, it cost my daughter $300 !!! For what I have no idea! We were supposed to receive (2) 60 minute facials and it was supposed to like $100 each (so $200 total) How we went from a Mother / Daughter spa day, relaxing massages... to being in and out within 60 minutes, and we were back to back... so there was no relaxation whatsoever and the technician was talking the whole time, I'm still baffled by the experience. I previously did sessions at a different place in Camarillo a few years ago and I was unhappy with the service/results, so I never finished the process. I wish I could give Beyond Aesthetics all the stars. I set up a consultation to start and spoke with Megan who was very helpful and courteous. Megan referred me to Kim, the esthetician on site, for a facial that I was in dire need of. I've been getting facials for the last four years and this experience was life changing. My skin has never looked this clean, radiant, and pore free! Kim listened to all of my concerns, mostly around my pore size and blackheads *insert gag emoji* and just did an amazing job making me feel comfortable and relaxed. Kim recommended a serum for me to try out and potentially incorporate into my skincare routine and I'm excited to see the results. Came back twice for Botox in my frown line area. I had a total of over 40 units injected and still had full movement of my frown lines. Spent over $600 with zero results. I went to another location and had improvement with only 8 units. I was told by multiple physicians that they either were over diluting their product or using old product for that to happen. read more

Horrible experience with Botox, one eye shot up into my forehead after the owner injected it. I only asked for 24 units and she still managed to make my face a joke. She said I didn't realize my forehead was so big! I had to walk around like this for 2 weeks because they would not see me before. Megan is amazing! I just got laser hair removal and a micro-needling. She was so kind and thorough and really knows what she's doing. I felt like I could totally trust her with my face. I've already seen results from my micro needling treatment. My melasma has lessened and my face feels firm and is in the process of rejuvenating. As for the laser hair removal, I won't see results for a little bit but I've gotten it done here before and the results were fantastic! Can't wait for a week or two. WOW!!!! Hands down the best botox I have received in the 7 years of getting it done. I moved to the area about 3 months ago and found this place on Yelp. I had fillers done underneath my eyes because I have hollowing, and it looks terrible. The dips under my eyes casts an ugly shadow there that makes my under eye circles look worst than what they really are. So Leslie did my fillers and let me tell you... SHE IS AMAZING!! No bruising, no pain, I healed rather quickly, my eyes look great, i'm pleased with the results, ANNNND again NO BRUISING! I use to live in San Diego and I went to 2 different places only because the first place the girl bruised me so bad I was done... the second place I bruised not as bad, but they were way more expensive than the first place Nope.. Leslie didn't mess me up and the price was perfect especially for the fact that it came with ZERO BRUISING.. I also just started tattoo removal with her; had my first session a few days ago... she numbed me and made sure I was comfortable as possible considering she was about to fry my skin. It hurt in some spots like we all know it's suppose to, but she was really good at doing her best to keep me calm and relaxed. It was a rather pleasant experience considering all the pain that's expected. I have 5 more sessions for the tattoo removal process and hope that does the trick. Their prices are fair and the fact that Leslie and her team are professional and super nice makes the entire experience more than well worth it. Being someone who can be overly anxious, the blog section of their website really helped instill confidence in me when deciding if Beyond was the right place to go. They show you how much they know by regularly posting educational content about their procedures and practices. So, I scheduled my virtual consultation with Nurse Practitioner, Megan. She asked me what I was looking for, and then gave me an in-depth explanation of what is common practice and then further gave me her specific recommendations for the outcome I was looking to achieve. After that, she was dedicated to finding a time that I could come in for my appointment, working with me and my tight schedule. I was so nervous the day of my appointment and I was very vocal with Megan about my concerns. She listened to all of my concerns, addressed each one and genuinely reassured me that I was in good hands. She made sure I was ready before we moved on with the procedure and checked in with me as we went through the quick process. After, we went over after care details and she again made sure to reassure me that everything was going to turn out exactly what I was hoping for. Further, she told me not to hesitate to call if I had any more concerns or questions. Needless to say, the experience I had alone at Beyond Aesthetics is enough to make me a loyal and happy customer. But to top it all off, Megan also did a great job with my procedure, my results are more than what I was hoping for. There are a lot of practices out there who do not prioritize customer service skills, because they don't need too. Not every customer is going to be as anxious as I was. With that being said, had Beyond Aesthetics brushed off my feelings or responded even in a sub par way, and EVEN if I liked the results, I would be off looking for a new practice to do my procedure for the next time.
