When I decided to look for somewhere to get skin tags removed, I found Laser Creations and was excited by all the five-star reviews. It seemed like the perfect place - no pain, great service, kind people - so even though it was very far from my home in Moreno Valley, I asked my husband and kids for a Groupon from Laser Creations for my birthday. When I called to set up the appointment, they were very kind and professional. I was nervous about going, so I looked up the driving directions the night before and saw it would take 1.5 hours to get there. I asked my friend to drive me (I've been on some medication that makes me dizzy and driving so far on my own wasn't a good idea) and she picked me up 2 hours before my appointment. As we drove, my heart sank because the traffic was terrible and the driving directions kept adding time to our arrival. I also had to stop to use the bathroom because my bladder isn't the same after having four kids. :( When we stopped, I called Laser Creations and left a message about my potential late arrival (at that time it was showing we'd be 6 min late). We got closer, but the traffic was terrible. We were finally around the corner, but were stopped at the train tracks. I called again so they would know I didn't just skip out on the appointment (it was 20 min after my appointment at that time) and I could tell they were frustrated by my lateness by the way they responded. They told me the numbing cream they'd be using for the skin tags needed 30 minutes to be effective, and I was "cutting into that time" by being late. When I hung up, I told my friend I would likely need to reschedule because of how late it was and apologized that she'd driven me all that way for nothing. When we arrived, it took me a minute to find the door, and when I tried it, it wouldn't open. I don't know if it's because it was heavy, or if I pulled/pushed the wrong way, but I couldn't get it to open, so I called again. They sounded upset that I couldn't figure it out and sent someone to fetch me from the elevator lobby. She rather sarcastically and dramatically gestured at the door as if I was stupid and hadn't seen it there. I said "Yes, ma'am, I did try that door but I couldn't get it to open, I don't know why." She huffed and led me quickly through the hallway, straight past the reception area and into a treatment room. I apologized for being late, trying to explain what had happened, but she spoke over me and said the timing for the numbing cream to work had passed and I wouldn't get the effect of it. Then she asked how many tags I'd wanted removed, even though I'd established that when I set up the appointment, and then frustratedly called to the other woman with how many I needed done as if I was a burden. I was crying by this point because I literally have never felt so under attack by strangers before. They both said something about why should I be crying, they're fun, nice people, I should see their reviews online. And I tried to say "Yes, that's why I picked you and drove so far because your reviews looked amazing" but they kept talking over me, lecturing me about having to make other customers wait because of my tardiness. When I finally was able to speak to tell them that I wasn't expecting special consideration and that I'd planned to ask to reschedule, but they'd rushed me in here and then lectured me and scolded me for crying, they seemed to backpedal and said they'd be happy to reschedule me. At that point, I said I didn't feel comfortable getting services done there and wanted a refund. Then I left. I was crying in the car, trying to explain to my friend what had gone on when one of the ladies came out of the building and just stood there. I wondered why she couldn't let me just cry in peace, and my friend took offense on my behalf and calmly went over and told the lady that it wasn't good to treat people that way and that we'd already felt badly about being late and wanted to reschedule and they didn't need to be rude to me. She told my friend "You weren't in the room, you don't know what was said." To which my friend replied, "Are you calling my friend a liar then?" She again backpedaled and said they'd be happy to reschedule me, but my friend politely said we'd not be coming back here. I think this all could have been professionally and politely handled if they had just kindly introduced themselves when I arrived (neither introduced themselves to me or welcomed me to the clinic) and said "Usually when people arrive this late, we recommend rescheduling so the numbing cream can work effectively and make it all a smoother experience." or even just waited for me to make that suggestion myself. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. From all their reviews, it looks like my experience here could have been amazing and I am sorry I didn't get to have that. I found this place through Groupon as a suggested deal because it was a "trending" item on my feed. I'm a pretty big skin fanatic and I'm always doing my research, watching videos regarding skin through dermatologists and estheticians on YouTube so I had expected my service to be completely different than what I was actually given. I came in about 5-10 mins early and no one was at the front desk so I could sign in or ask questions before my treatment so I stepped out to look for a bathroom. Then I came back in and Nena who turned out to be the lady gave me a form to fill out and took me right into the room I will say she was very informative on the definition of dermaplaning and told me basically what she would do and then my dermaplaning would be followed up with a light treatment I was kind of caught of guard when she told me to wash my own face. I figured she would be doing the pre-cleansing of the face, but instead told me to wash up at the sink area in the room. She put on a solution on my face after - didn't tell me what it was at all. Then she stated the dermaplaning, which compared to the many treatments I've observed, seemed rather fast and slightly more aggressive. I did feel some parts that stung a little. During the process she was talking to me and asking me some questions. I've never seen a patient / client talk while getting this treatment assuming it couldn't be dangerous if you're moving your face when there's surgical blade gliding across your face at a pretty fast pace. I was just hoping I wasn't going to end up with any nicks or cuts, but that wasn't the case as you'll see later on. She didn't tone or cleanse my face after but just went right in with the light therapy. I was under the light for ten mins or so which felt longer than the actual dermaplaning portion of my treatment. She then put some moisturizer on my face and told me I was good to go. She didn't ask me at all how my service was, what I thought of it, no follow up really. It felt like a very quick in and out kinda thing. Honestly I wasn't impressed. I expected a better service. Maybe I was expecting too much? But it's your skin! You would think they give a Groupon option so it's easier to get clientele going and at least inform them more about the what's going on in their center and other services and build up that up that way. Her colleague came in at one point and she was talking about some other business during my treatment. I expected better service, quality , attention to detail. Nena was really nice. But I will not be coming back here again. If I wouldve taken a look at their brochure instead of hearing about them on Groupon , I wouldn't have scheduled any appointment at all. read more

My first time coming here was great, but when I returned for my second laser hair removal treatment, that's when it went downhill. I was giving a numbing cream to numb the laser intensity. But when I came in with the numbing cream on and no saran wrap in the areas being lasered, Lisa practically yelled at me for not wearing saran wrap to better number the area. She asked me what I had on my body what was the white stuff (which was the numbing cream she gave me, you'd think this info would be in my client chart), and then scolded me for not wrapping it in saran. I felt completely awkward because this is my appointment and I know my pain level. And without the area being wrapped by saran it felt exactly the same to me as it did the first time I wrapped the area with saran wrap. After the appointment I was so sore in the bikini area, come to find out that Lisa burned me in five spots! My intuition said she was being careless during the treatment, and come to find out she was. The nurse assisted me the first time, but the second time was Lisa. I was so angry and disappointed at being burnt by the laser that I decided that I wouldn't come back. I then proceeded to make an appointment at another laser hair removal place in Simi Valley where the customer service and product were way better! They had a machine with a cooling gel and I felt practically no pain at all from their laser machine. This was my first time at Laser Creations and I was beyond impressed!!! From the warm and welcoming staff to the clean office, everything exceeded my expectations. I normally get Botox injections through a chain operated Med spa and was very unhappy with the customer service, constant turn over of staff and extremely pricey services. During my appointment at Laser Creations, the owner and her assistant ( YAY to women owned businesses) , took the time to educate me and answer all my questions as to other procedures and cost (something I would normally be charged an extra $50 fee through the Med Spa). If I could give this place no stars I would! I went in Inquiring Botox and that's what I received . I waited 2 weeks to see results and I didn't, so I returned for some kind of touch up. When the woman, who I believe was the Dr., spoke to Lisa and she applied more and charged me once again. Fine I paid the fee. I wasn't thrilled but i was hoping maybe the touch up would do it . So I waited one more week and I still didn't see results so I called and asked how long should I have to wait. And what was used because Botox has worked amazing for me before . She tells me she used dysport. Which Is not what I got the first time I went there . She touched me up with dysport and didn't tell me and of course I assumed that's what I was getting since that's what I initially received ! So I walk in a week later to try and find some kind of solution for my issue with this and she treated me horribly . I let her know I was unhappy with the fact that dysport was used on me and asked why ? And she YELLED saying "because everyone is happy with dysport" so I replied with, I'm not everybody and I could have had an allergy to this. She had nothing to says but "oh well , sorry" and I asked her if she was the dr and with a arrogant attitude and a smirk on her face she Answered with "yes I'm the dr, haha" . It was the worst experience I've ever had. I came to this place to leave feeling happy and beautiful and it was the complete opposite. The lady at the reception desk was extremely rude and treated me like a second class citizen. She had me sit in a corner and practically yelled at me from the window. She then proceeded to tell me that I should not have come into the office, and should have called for my appointment as they are extremely busy. She then takes a couple of calls and leaves me sitting in the corner without any other kind of acknowledgment. I had to simply walk out and cancel my Groupon. I was really surprised to see all the 5 star reviews on here. I received poor customer service at Laser Creations. Maybe it was because I used a Groupon? But if they didn't want discount customers, they shouldn't offer discounts! The actual laser treatment was good, not painless, but totally bearable. I had 6 treatments and am satisfied with the results for the price paid. I don't think the results will be permanent, but I suspect they'll last long enough. The reason for "meh" rating is really the customer service. When I'd walk in, Lisa and Nina would continue talking to each other... would not say "Hi" or "hello" and just just hand me a form - without saying a word! Once, when I walked in and another customer was there, Nina yelled to me from across the room "Appointment?" not, "Hello, how can I help you," or at a minimum "Do you have an appointment?" Maybe it was a personality mis-match? I don't really know what could excuse being rude to your customers. I guess the fact that they knew I pre-paid and would have to come back to them no matter how they treated me. My last treatment was the first time that I was thanked upon leaving. I know I gave my old medspa a pretty good review. And they're great! They really are. But Laser Creations, you totally stole my heart and I'm never going back. The first time I came here, I went through my usual pre-laser routine of taking two Aleve, in an attempt to keep myself from sticking to the ceiling when that laser would get hot enough to create "a little discomfort" (re: hurt like a fucking sonofabitch.) I liked the ladies here right off the bat because they seem like they all enjoy working each other. The first time I came here, I was a little early and I could hear them cracking each other up in the other room. Once it was my turn, I disrobed and could feel beads of sweat forming on my forehead, in anticipation of what was coming. Well, I have now had three treatments at Laser Creations and ONE of those times, it was a little bit painful, and that's probably just because it was a particularly sensitive time of the month. They use this magical cold air blower that keeps your skin from getting too hot, during your laser treatment - genius! Not only that, but they are very patient; they take their time and don't rush you out the door, they allow for enough time to take little pauses in order to keep the treatments from burning you and hurting you too much. One of the reasons why I came here and left the old medspa, was that the, uh, "results" would not really last. My hair started growing back and I started to get frustrated, so when Angela A. recommended this place, I figured it was worth a shot even if it's a hike from my home in Northeast Los Angeles. They explained to me very thoroughly that I should keep to a schedule to stay on top of regrowth, and they already had a plan of action in case I wasn't happy with my results after a couple of treatments. (I believe then, she added, "Girl, we're gonna make you bald.") So far, my hairs have thinned so much that I have to shave maybe a third as often as I used to, and when I do, there is zero irritation like there was before. I can shave my armpits about once a week, but even if I get lazy, you'd have to stand up close to me and squint pretty hard in order to see any hair growing. I have very sensitive skin and dark hair. I've been around the block a few times and tried waxing, shaving, electrolysis, and laser hair removal a medspa, a dermatologist, and Laser Creations, and LC is the winner, bar none, and their bedside manor is A+. I will keep it 100% with you all, I have a condition called PCOS that has really altered my young life. This is the best and least expensive. I live in Aspen Co and will travel to Simi Valley for Lisa, she is exceptionally talented with the needle for injections. I never get bruises, it is always perfect and even. It was hideous! I called Nena back, and she said it's normal and to put cortizone and take Claritin. As days went by it got more painful and worse. I went back and Lisa Noack was unwilling to help, and said it's not their fault, and that there is nothing they can do. She said I am overreacting. After that, I went to urgent care and was diagnosed with folleculitis. The Urgent Care docotr said they burned me, and their product must have not been sterile. He prescribed me Keflex antibiotics And Bactroban for ten days! I asked for my money back from Lisa, And she refused bcuz she still was defending herself and not taking accountability. I am so happy I found Laser Creations! I had a condition, milia, which formed small bumps all over my face. Over the years, I had consulted with many dermatologists, not one could give me a solution. Then I purchased a Groupon from Laser Creations for a microdermabrasion. Lisa told me that a microdermabrasion would not help me. Lisa and Nena told me that I had small milia that had hardened over the years. They actually extracted the little hard bumps and for the first time in over 15 years my face is smooth!!!!!!!!!!! I am a long time customer who has become very unhappy with Laser Creations. Some times they get it right while other times I feel what a waste of my hard earned money. I have had unsuccessful laser treatment and facial fillers. In the past I have never had any issues with fillers. Until 2020 then I had to come back multiple times for treatments that should have lasted 6 months. Each time I was told it's due to Covid and the stress it's causing. In no way was I stressed out. So unprofessional. I suspected they were using cheap fillers and found a different solution, somebody else who fixed what they broke. They laughed when I told them about the Covid excuse! Laser Creations has been my home for all my skin care needs for the last 4 years and I couldn't be happier with my experience. I came to Laser Creations when my acne was at its peak and I was going back and fourth with my dermatologist about Acutane ( a highly harmful but last resort to treat severe cystic acne). I went here a few years ago and I want other people to know about my experience with their laser resurfacing. I paid 2k for microdermabrasion treatments and laser resurfacing package. The microdermabrasion treatments were fine, no effect really and overpriced at $100 each. As for the laser resurfacing, I had three treatments and have suffered permanent discoloration around my nose and mouth. It has faded a bit since it has been a few years but it's still there. The person who runs this place is not a doctor. It's a laser nurse and being naive, I believed her diagnosis since she and her receptionist were very personable and sounded sincere. She told me about this story about getting thank you letters from people who had very bad scars that were cured by their laser, etc. etc. Anyway, the first two times, Lisa administered it and it was so-so (made my face peel a bit but no real change afterward). The last time, it was some stand in who burned my skin. Needless to say, I called them and their answer was to apply more silvidene. I applied what they gave me but the discolorations never went away and I was too afraid to undergo more botched laser surgery so I never went back. Please think twice before getting any laser resurfacing here. Spend more and go to a real dermatologist. The results I got were permanent. Now I have to live with applying concealer on my face. read more
