I did a Forma facial and it was completely non invasive and not painful at all. We took before photos so I could really see the difference afterward, which I appreciated. They applied a gel to my face and used the Forma device to glide over the skin with gentle warmth. It felt relaxing and soothing, almost like a warm facial massage. Forma uses radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen and elastin production. It helps tighten and firm the skin, improve texture, and smooth fine lines over time. What I loved most is that there is no downtime and it is safe for all skin types. My skin felt tighter, lifted, and had the most amazing glow afterward. I usually wear makeup every single day, but I left without any makeup on and felt so confident. My skin looked that good. All she said is... well you spoke to the nurse right and she cleared you regarding the antibiotics? I said yes.. she said so we'll have to charge you... hope it was worth the $50! Response to Mary after my original message... Thank you for the response, Mary. However, it misses the point entirely. While I understand and respect cancellation policies, they are typically designed to prevent 'no-shows' or casual cancellations, not to penalize a client experiencing a sudden medical crisis. I was proactive and transparent with your nurse the night before. Unfortunately, health situations--especially those requiring multiple rounds of intensive antibiotics--can escalate unexpectedly overnight. Expecting a patient to 'predict' they will be too ill to leave the house 24 hours in advance during a medical emergency is unreasonable. Offering to have me come in 'later that day' when I had already explained I was unwell and under strict medical care shows a complete lack of empathy and basic listening. To charge a $50 penalty under these specific, documented circumstances is a choice that prioritizes a small fee over human compassion and long-term client relationships. Monica was the nurse who handled my hydra facials and was super kind. She explained all the steps during the process and even let me see my "gunkie" water after the session was complete. I have not had much experience with anti wrinkle treatments and wanted some information on softening some fine lines around my eyes, lips and on my cheeks. The fast talking sales person conned me into purchasing a package for Thermage treatments and Botox. She said the THERMAGE would have almost immediate results with no down time and I would see improvements within a week. She said the skin would continue to produce collagen causing it to lift and tighten so it could take up to 60 days for full effects to be visible. She also convinced me to purchase units of Botox which I WAS NOT interested in, but she promised the combination of treatments would produce "great results". I spent almost $3,000 in total and had the first treatment on 02/14/2026. On the day of the treatment, I was asked to sign an encyclopedia of paper work and consent to "God Knows What" as the technician was in the room about to start the "treatment". I told her I hadn't read any of these form which I was supposedly consenting to! She shrugged off my concerns and told me they are just "general consent forms" which all clients have to sign before any procedure! I was uncomfortable signing documents I had not read(My fault for trusting this place) but I went ahead and signed them against my better judgmen. I know so many people who have regular Botox and the results are subtle but clearly visible. I saw absolutely NO DIFFERENCE in the fine lines in areas they injected! The technician said the results will take up to 72 hrs to be visible but said I might need to purchase more units! (There's a surprise). The Thermage treatment felt like bee stings but I figured if it actually produced results, it would be worth it! It has been almost 3 months since my first Thermage treatment and there has been ABSOLUTELY ZERO difference in my skin conditions! I have asked several of family and friends who have Botox treatments regularly if they notice a difference following my Botox injections. They've all said they DON'T believe I had BOTOX injection! NO improvement, no difference at all! My own daily moisturizer is a much better treatment than this complete RIP-OFF AND SCAM! I have called 3 times to ask for a refund for the REMAINING treatments as I will NOT be going in for a second treatment of THERMAGE or any other Botox treatment at this establishment. All three times; I was told I am calling their general scheduling line but they will have the representative from Valencia call me back. NO ONE HAS BOTHERED TO reach out time! NO ONE even called after the treatment to ask if I was satisfied with the services! Last night(04/27/2026) I received a call from Laser Away 7:40 p.m. I thought they are FINALLY calling me back after 3 messages. I was WRONG! It was an extremely rude woman who was trying to sell me other services! When I told her I was NOT interested in any other treatments and wanted a refund for my remaining "services" She rudely dismissed my concerns and said she can't help me because she's calling from the WoodlandHills location, they were closing in 15 minutes and she had only called to see if I was interested in buying another "package" and didn't have anything to do with refunds! She said she would send a message to the Valencia location for someone to call me back! As of this review NO ONE has bothered to reach out to me! Please think twice before giving a penny to LaserAway. All they care about is taking your money and producing no or very little result!
