If I could give zero stars, I would. I have a long history with The Joint and have spent thousands of dollars there over the past several years. Until today, I had always been very happy with my experiences. I recently moved to Simi Valley and was in severe pain, so I called hoping to be seen the same day, today. Unfortunately, what should have been a caring and compassionate interaction turned into an unnecessarily frustrating experience. The person who answered the phone told me I would need to complete additional paperwork because I supposedly had not been to The Joint in over a year. When I questioned that and asked her to check the date of my last visit, it turned out that it had actually been LESS than a year. Despite that, she still insisted on the additional requirement and ultimately told me I would need to come back another day. I could have filled out the paperwork in a few minutes, and although the office was closing in 75 minutes, I was turned down. I wasn't asking for special treatment. I was simply asking to be seen based on the correct information in my account, particularly when I was already in significant pain. I felt like the representative was more concerned about her not being able to process my paperwork than my pain level. I feel that this treatment was unfair and unprofessional. After being a loyal customer for years and having such positive experiences with The Joint in the past, I was extremely disappointed by the lack of compassion and poor customer service I received at the Simi Valley location today. read more

I Love the Care I get at this Joint. I come all the way from Pasadena and use either Dr. Manfree or Dr. Sau. I haven't tried any of the other doctors but I'm sure they're fantastic too. Patrick Sau was the best chiropractor with The Joint Chiropractic . He has been my chiropractor for years. I followed him to Simi Valley from Thousand Oaks even though it more than doubled the distance I had to drive to see him 26 miles each way. I am upset with the new management that he is no longer there. I am thinking about canceling my membership with the Joint. Hopefully his other patients feel the same way and stop using the Joint until they bring him back. read more

I have used multiple chiropractors around town. I love The Joint; the price for 4 monthly visits is equal to one visit at most chiropractors, and there are no fancy therapies that don't do much, or just aggravate the situation. The doctors give you their attention and time. They listen to you right then and there and adjust as needed. I even find that each doctor is a little different and a better depending on my needs. All are great, but Dr. Manfre and Dr. Roberto are my go to's lately. Best care, best price. read more

A week ago, I lifted 3 large bags into my car trunk. Because they were so heavy, I picked one up at a time and swung each one inside. I have done this many times with no issues. Sandra was a great chiropractor to see for my first time adjustment at a new place. Definitely will be seeing her again. The office experience was good! Came this morning at 10:30, already a couple people waiting and one new patient. I know from my own experience a new patient takes 15 to 20 minutes. Rice and so on..... until I get to doctor patel.. omg never again... he did adjust me and it felt good... but his attitude sucked and he thought I was the problem when I said it hurt when he was stretching my back .... It was a little tender and I get that some pain comes with it... but to blame me that I shouldn't be feeling that and that it's probably my fault for apparently sitting all the time.... I want to start off by saying the staff here is very friendly. My husband and I went in here for our first time and this place is a disaster! There was a mildewy smell right when you walk in and construction fans across the entire clinic not to mention cords all over the place which could be a major tripping hazard. I also tried to get some water from the water dispenser in the lobby and this was an ice breaker for me as there was NO waterMy husband and I just came from the gym next door. We did not end up getting seen as this place looked like a joke and should not be open while they are "remodeling". Miranda was amazing the moment I walked in the door (actually even on the phone prior to me coming in!). Miranda's energy was so warm and inviting, making you feel cared for immediately. Five starts isn't enough to describe my feeling about Dr. Bal's adjustments. I was looking for a doctor at the Joint because I'm new to the area. I'm a long time chiropractic patient and I was not getting the relief I needed from other Joint locations. I was paying for my membership to the Joint and also paying 55.00 per adjustment with another doctor at a separate practice to try and obtain relief in my neck. Immediately after my 1st adjustment with Dr. Bal I could tell this wasn't like any other adjustment. He doesn't do the shredding moves on my neck but it's still a great full body adjustment. I always tell him after my adjustment, I no longer feel like my body is fighting me. I feel relaxed. Even while my son is on summer break we still drive over 20 miles to get adjusted by Dr. Bal.
