The person who answered the phone told me I would need to complete additional paperwork because I supposedly had not been to The Joint in over a year. When I questioned that and asked her to check the date of my last visit, it turned out that it had actually been LESS than a year. Despite that, she still insisted on the additional requirement and ultimately told me I would need to come back another day. I could have filled out the paperwork in a few minutes, and although the office was closing in 75 minutes, I was turned down. I wasn't asking for special treatment. I was simply asking to be seen based on the correct information in my account, particularly when I was already in significant pain. I felt like the representative was more concerned about her not being able to process my paperwork than my pain level. I feel that this treatment was unfair and unprofessional. I had two visits that week, the first decreased my pain by at least 60% and the second it was gone but would come back depending on what I did. I had never had the Webster technique done since my regular chiro was not trained in it and I remember the first time sitting on the toilet after the first treatment and not groaning. It is so gentle I honestly didn't think it was going to do anything but I continued to feel better after that point. I slept so much better too! A few weeks later I found out that my baby was Sunny side up and I told her about it and again I saw her a little more frequently and the baby was back into the correct position again!
