Best chiropractor I've ever been to! Let's start by saying this is way better than The Joint could ever be! I've been coming in for a few weeks with very severe back pain at 31. I have very intense muscle knots that were causing a lot of daily pain along with a SI joint injury. Massages were expensive and only helping for a few days and physical therapy 2x a week was showing little progress. Dr Young takes a lot of time at the initial appointment to understand your concerns and goals. He offers a range of services that helped me with my pain including cupping, adjustments, some sort of tool to really get into the knots and loosen them up and a great message bed thing (not sure of the medical name ha!) Appointments usually range from 30-45 mins whereas the joint was like 10 mins at most. And he takes my insurance so I only pay a copay! read more

I was recently in a very scary automobile accident and have been experiencing residual pain as a result of it. The best thing I have ever come across! Life changing!!! So I had a sprain that had been killing me, literally! It would make activities even walking a nightmare. It was hard to keep up with my two little rugrats and one day I came across this add on Yelp that made my life complete! After the very first session I felt so much better! It's been a year since I got adjusted. I would normally go to a chiropractor out of the area because of comfort and familiarity, but since I have had my baby 8 months ago, I just didn't have the time to drive out of the area for an adjustment. I knew of Dr. Young because he was referred by a few of my clients (I am a personal trainer and gym owner). He has stopped by my facility to introduce himself and knew he was fairly close. At this point in my life, I felt like I really needed the adjustment and out of desperation, I reached out for an appointment. It was literally the best decision I have ever made. Like many, I have struggled with back issues, thoracic tightness, and neck tightness. Now that I am exclusively breastfeeding my daughter, I have been in much more posture pain. Upon intake, Dr. Young was professional and also easy to talk with. He addressed all my concerns and made sure to ask follow up questions. I can appreciate how through he was. He started the session with the graston technique (fascia scraping) at my neck. Then used cupping and traction at my lower back. I personally wasn't a fan of the traction, but that in no way reflects the quality of the adjustment. Just wasn't my thing... When we got to the adjustments, I knew I was tense... BUT I DIDN'T KNOW HOW BAD. Boy, I was tense. I felt comfortable enough to relax and he was quick and confident. I was really impressed. I felt like a bag of popping pop corn. At one point I wanted to cry because I felt like I have been carrying so much pain that I forgot what it felt like to feel relief. Dr. Young obviously doesn't need more review about how good he is. I got into an accident earlier this year and I was not able to find a chiropractor that was working out well for me (I was not able to find someone who would help with the pain). Ok. So yassss Dr . Young is a super model (hehehe) but even were he hideous, STILL I would give him the highest marks and refer him to anyone. In fact I HAVE referred loads of people and the ones who went come back with rave reviews. Dr. Young always goes above and beyond. He includes muscle work, body mechanic and stretching and strengthening demos, walks you through everything and crack the living daylights out of you! Just kidding. I just let Chirofit. I have chronic pain. Dr. Young used traction techniques today. Appointments in the past awakened my awareness he was definitely making progress in my overall pain levels. He is incredibly kind & personable. At first it took about a month of weekly visits to feel noticeable range of motion after years of acceptance that pain was my normal. I was kinda skeptical about chiropractic adjustments making a difference. But it did make a huge difference. Then I traveled for a few months. Life became more complicated and I temporarily stopped my treatments. I reverted hard right back into pain. I'm 2nd week back on track with Chirofit and today I floated out of the office almost pain free; something so unusual, I feel like a horse let out of a winter barn in spring, jumping for joy. Jonathan runs the office and he is on it. He makes sure technology works for everyone by streamlining the process. I recently first visited Dr. Young at Chirofit and was very satisfied with the service received. The environment was very clean well kept - and Dr. Young was very friendly and personable. He even stayed later than his posted hours on Yelp so I could come in for my treatment for the first time. All in all it was a very pleasant experience as my first time getting adjusted and Chirofit provided services that relieved pain and discomfort that I didn't even know I had. Regardless of the 3 star rating, I would still refer friends and family here. The three star rating would have to come from how difficult it has been to schedule an appointment. Since my first appointment I've only been able to come once or twice. I've tried to book with the number provided on Yelp as I've tried to call and text the number for appointment. I've tried to text the number first because I thought it would be easier for whoever was booking to get back to me since I figure the practice was fairly busy. However when I was getting little to no response I tried to call and there was no answer. I tried to text again to come in for treatment and have still got no response. I set up my appointments so that I see Cindy for a great massage to work out all the stress and then straight to Dr. Shane to be adjusted. I brought my 16 year old son in who was complaining about his back and knees (he is an athlete who grew a little too fast) and Dr. Shane adjusted him, made him feel comfortable, and educated him on the whys and what he can do to ease the discomfort at home. I think I've finally found The chiropractor that I've been looking for. Dr. Young is very knowledgeable with a background in sports. I have been to many chiropractors which always tell you to immediately stop working out. However, Dr. Young encourages you to continue working out utilizing different techniques and/or to warm up a lot and to do mobilization exercises. Just from the first session, I started to feel a lot better. I've have hip tightness, a locked SI joint, and a micro tear in my hip flexor. I went to see Dr. Young after hurting my lower back in the gym. Due to the nature of my symptoms, he advised me to see an orthopedist to get an MRI. It was determined that I had a bulging disc between L-4 and L-5 that was pressing on a nerve causing severe sciatica and calve pain. Dr. Young has been treating me to help create space between the bulging disc and the nerve. His treatments have made a huge difference. My pain has decreased by about 90%. He also did some cupping on my back to help increase blood flow. Plus, he did some deep tissue work on my forearm due to tennis elbow. Cindy is an amazingly talented massage therapist. She's worked on me and really knows what's she's doing. Jonathan is super cool and very accommodating when scheduling. ChiroFit has to be the cleanest chiropractic office I've ever seen.
