This place is absolutely phenomenal across the board for so many reasons. Hanan and the front desk team make your experience fantastic from the first phone call. There were some issues with my insurance and they resolved them so efficiently, with no inconveniences to me whatsoever. Always friendly, organized, professional and helpful. Christian was my primary therapist and I really can't express how amazing I think he is. I work in the medical field myself and can easily say that he is one of the best medical professionals I have ever met. His knowledge and understanding of physical therapy and the human body is beyond impressive. But, equally important, is that he is able to relay this information so well. Good physical therapists but they are lunderstaffed snd overwhelmed so it's hard to get their attention to get appointments.

Part of me doesn't want to write this review, because, selfishly, I don't want this office to get any more busy than it already is. But I owe it to them because of the outstanding, excellent experience I had here. Over the course of a full year of treatment, I wound up seeing every therapist in this office, and every single person here -- front desk staff included -- was caring, professional, knowledgeable, and very warm and kind. It was just a very positive, pleasant, healing atmosphere, full of compassion and respect, and laughter too! Every single aspect of this place, every single interaction, was just top-rate. October being National Physical Therapy month, I wanted to share my physical therapy story A little over 2 years ago my orthopedic doctor referred me to Progressive to treat my knee injury from hiking. Here, I was partnered with Evan Filice, who was new to Progressive. Evan was professional, patient, attentive, well versed and responsive to my injury. Throughout my treatment he continued to think outside the box of treatment ideas to aid my recovery. Can't say enough good things about this pt location. Be sure to book your appointments in advance because they do fill up. What I enjoyed the most about my experience here is that there is a lot of one on one attention and they actually correct you if you are not doing the exercises correctly. I've been to other pt's where there's a attitude of "Let us know when you're done". My pt Andrei was very organized and had a great gameplan of helping me get through both my hip and shoulder surgeries. My son is a high school baseball player (pitcher) in Orange County, CA. He was experiencing some neck pain and knots under his shoulder blades. I'm currently in my second treatment program at Progressive Physical Therapy in Granada Hills. The first time, a few years ago, was for my lower back. I received excellent treatment. That's why I returned for therapy on my shoulder. I cannot say enough for the care I've received at this wonderful facility. From those doing the administrative work to the therapists administering treatment, the entire staff is knowledgable, professional, caring, attentive and focused on the patient. I say this, not simply because I've observed how others are treated, but from the personal attention and care I've received from those working the desk, to each and every therapist and assistant with whom I've been taken care of at Progressive. Outstanding. Experienced. Friendly. Kind. Progressive PT in Granada Hills is the gold standard for physical therapy. I sprained my ACL while jogging and did not see my doctor, figuring it would heal on its own. It didn't. Several weeks later, a colleague recommended PT at Progressive. Mine was a cold call and Hanan, who manages the office, was kind, helpful and made it easy to be seen almost immediately. She's part of their outstanding team. I've never had PT but a few days later, I was in the capable hands of Jordan, physical therapist. Two months later, thanks to her and her assistant Nick, I'm back to walking normally. And the orthopedic surgeon whom I finally saw, said, "No need to see me. Whatever you're doing, keep doing. Your physical therapy is working." Andrei Carballo is a superb professional!! I chose to continue as a patient for a few months, because not only did I progress in eliminating back pain, but I found myself getting back to my former physical self, and all in an enjoyable environment! Everyone at the clinic helped each other, but in a way that I wanted to use my learned skills at home instead of being discouraged and intimidated. I'm updating my previous review because I after comparing notes with a friend, I realize that this place is REALLY great. I feel lucky now. :)( The only reason I knocked down a star previously is because I have heard that many Physical Therapy offices offer massages. However, they do a lot of soft tissue work as well as exercises and I have made a lot of progress. So I know it's working. 1. Diane is the Director there and she runs a tight ship. I believe that it's because of her that they hire Physical Therapists that are knowledgable, friendly, professional and courteous. She has been doing PT work for 38 years and it shows in her expertise on the subjects of physiology, anatomy and the latest therapy treatments. I know that I am in capable and STRONG hands. :) 2.I always ask Diane questions and she very patiently explains things to me. 3. Christine is amazing. She loves what she does and she is great at it. I have learned a lot & progressed where every other PT place I have been to in the past decade and always had major set backs because they didn't care. The BEST therapists in town!! I had a couple of knee surgeries in the past and always get my physical therapy at this location, specially for the phenomenal results and treatment I've always received! Most recently I had a TKA and Evan and his team did a meticulous job of getting my knee back to normal, and teaching me how to survive doing daily activities, and most important returning to work! The exercises were tailored to help me gain strength and be capable of recovering my work activities. I had the opportunity to work with every member of the staff and the entire team of PT assistants, all of them, with no exceptions were very knowledgeable, friendly and fun to work with, the front desk ladies were always very kind and helpful. My lower back pain was getting worse slowly but surely little by little, and one day it made me to scream when I tried to put the socks on or got in / out of the car. Looked for the professional help and knocked the door of Progressive Physical Therapy. Megan was assigned as my therapist and she's so amazing!!!!! She's very friendly and easy to talk to, which is important to someone introvert like me, yet very professional with positive attitude. I just completed my three months of physical therapy and am really missing all the wonderful staff. Everyone was very professional yet personable always providing the most genuine care. As a client who didn't need long term care I could tell that this place was special. Even on days that clients didn't have appointments I observed many stop by just to say hi and thank you for previous work done. Diane is the main PT and the one who I worked with the most. She runs a tight ship and I loved the way she would explain the work she was doing to help me regain my strength post surgery. In between exercises I learned about her personal life and she is more than just a dedicated PT but also a loving mother and grandmother:) I also had the opportunity to interact with the other PTs Erika and Lauren and their assistants. They all provided the same top notch care explaining everything in an understandable way. I actually teared up when Erika had another client crying tears of joy after an exercise and laughed my heart out when a client stopped by to tell Lauren a quick joke or two. It's these little things that just show how amazing these people are. Lastly, if it wasn't for Sarah the receptionist I probably wouldn't have come here in the first place. After weeks of research and calling other offices, Sarah was the first one to call back in a timely manner and was so sweet over the phone. She was the first "face" of the office and her genuineness set off my first impression. You will love this place! It's full of professionals who truly care about your health and well being. I've been coming here for about 8 weeks. I absolutely love the staff. All the PTs are really great. I work with one in particular, Evan, but I have had sessions with the other Physical therapists and they are all very knowledgeable and professional. The front desk staff is awesome. They always follow up with me and make future appointments. They have great attitudes. I have gone to 3 separate PT offices and none of them compare to this one in regards to knowledge, professionalism, and awesome customer service. You can tell they really care and they keep the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable too. I have made so much improvement and my progress is at a steady incline. I broke my arm, so I needed help with extension, strengthening, releasing painful knots, etc. And appreciate how my PT changes it up and focuses on all of the above so my arm can get back to normal! read more

I went here for post shoulder surgery PT and was assigned to Lauren and Katy. I was very happy with all aspects of my PT here. The setup is a little different in that the PT is done in kind of a common room with other patients but the setup is actually really good. The administrative staff is outstanding, and the reception staff are great at setting up appointments and they call and confirm each appointment. As for the PT, this was my second shoulder rehab (opposite shoulder last time at a different PT facility). Going here made me realize that my other PT was really just goin through the motions. Lauren and Katy really tailored my PT to exactly the issues I was having at time and constantly modified my exercises to get me back healthy ASAP. Great people, great PT. Highly recommend. read more

I love this place. The staff is friendly and everyone always says "hi" when I come in. For the most part the tables and equipment are in one big room together which some people may not like but doesn't bother me. My PT is Diane Poladian, the Clinical Director, and she is AMAZING. She has a very no-nonsense attitude so at first she comes off a little brusk but she is very friendly and conversational once she starts working with me. Once when Diane was out of town I saw Christine instead and she was also great. I would recommend either of them. read more

I have been to Progressive Physical Therapy three times over the years for different back pain issues. This past visit was quickly arranged and scheduled by Sara at the front desk. They were very accommodating and friendly, greeting me as I arrived for appointments. Sara always gave a reminder phone call the evening before. Since this time was during COVID, the safety procedures were in place (guests and staff wearing masks, sanitized pens, hand sanitizer, taking temperature, cleaning surfaces between treatments, therapists wearing gloves, separated chairs in the waiting area, etc.). I returned to Christian Dignos, who spent an hour on examination, movement discovery, reviewing my initial questioner, and developing a progress plan / daily exercise program printouts and written notes to take home (he also recommended things like changing my computer viewing angles and seating etc.). We went thru a variety of exercises to strengthen core muscles. On later appointments Rachel did an excellent job locating and manually massaging the pain points, and working out those awful back muscle knots. I really appreciated her patience, communication, and focus on my pain issues. She is very pleasant and friendly (also an important healing point)! My movements were a little painful in the beginning. We did more exercises, reviewed, discussed, and printed additional diagrams of exercises to do daily at home. My morning pain was extreme in the beginning and finally settled, finally being able to sleep through the night and easily standing-up out of bed. Progressive made the process enjoyable. I just finished my physical therapy and I am so happy with the staff. Not only am I able to walk again after a severe ankle sprain but Christian and Cynthia are wonderful my only regret is I didn't get a chance to say goodbye. My son was diagnosed with stage 4 alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma when he was 11. 15 months later, he was NED but he could no longer walk. Thanks to the staff at Progressive PT, he walks! As a result of being bedridden and vincristine chemo, his calf muscles shortened causing him to toe walk. Some kids go through surgery to get their calf muscles cut so that their feet can hit the floor flatly. Diane read up on this issue and has worked on my son's center of gravity as well as other exercises to get his feet flat. He does not toe walk anymore! We love everyone here. read more

After struggling for five months with my lower back, right thigh, and right knee pains, and visiting acupuncturist, chiropractor, two orthopedic surgeons, and primary physicians, I have been able to recovered from my pains and sores through physical therapy at Progressive Physical Therapy located at Granada Hills, CA. I highly recommend this particular location due to the great care and physical therapy exercises prescribed by Dr. Christine Kearney D.P.T. and her assistant Arlene. It took me just over one month to recovered instead of using pain killers and potential microsurgery to fuse two backbone spinal joints. It does require patient cooperation and a lot of daily exercises; but is is exhilarating to be able to recover at my age of over 60's and I am going skying with my family again this Christmas.
