Everybody is kind, hard working and really caring. My main therapist is Evan. Evan has pushed me and challenged me, in the best possible way. He listens to me and makes necessary adjustments, without letting me skimp on my therapy. I have gotten stronger and better and will continue to work hard. Progressive Physical Therapy is awesome.

I am beyond thrilled to have found this hidden gem of a Physical Therapy office so close to home!…read more Over the past several decades I have gone to a handful of chain/corporate owned Physical Therapy offices which I never quite felt confident going to because I would initially be seen by a Physical Therapist & then be passed on to a PT Aide that didn't really have any formal training other than hands on in the clinic. I would be shown the exercise and then left to do it on my own while they were off helping other clients in between. I had no idea if I was doing the exercises properly. So when a friend suggested that I give North Valley PT a try - I decided to do just that. I am so happy that I took a chance because everyone at the clinic are very experienced, knowledgeable, kind, patient and helpful! They only have Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants working with the clients. They are hands on and it's very personalized care. I love that the office is small - yet they have all the equipment needed to provide quality care and teach the exercises needed for everyone. Jenny who works at the front desk was so helpful and friendly when I first came in. She took the time to answer my questions and made sure that my insurance was accepted there. Aiden also works the front desk and he is equally as nice! Carla & Julia are amazing! Carla is the owner and makes you feel welcome right from the start. I've been working with Julia and she is very patient with me and wants to make sure I do well with my exercise program. I highly recommend anyone in need of PT services to give them a try.

I went to this place with an unspecified lower back issue that was later diagnosed as a bulging…read moredisk. I went 2x a week for about 2 months. I did the exercises and I got a little bit better but not much. After I got an MRI, the PT told me that I would likely not fully recover. 6 months later with a different PT, I'm fully recovered. My experience at this place felt impersonal. I was always one of at least 2 patients being tended to simultaneously and I don't feel like they really treated ME as much as treating a textbook case of what my injury was. I struggled with whether or not to write this review because they were nice enough and have probably treated other people successfully; but the therapy was ineffective for me and I think that was largely due to inattention to individual patient needs. There are many other local options.

She's efficient, kind, and always on top of scheduling, insurance, and any questions I had. Her professionalism made a big difference during a long course of treatment. I'm especially grateful to Corey and Ashley for helping me get back to a better place physically. My herniated disc and sciatica have improved a lot, and I learned exercises and habits I'll continue using. That said, I do recommend requesting one of the female therapists if you can. I found them to be warmer and more engaged, while some of the male therapists weren't as friendly or welcoming when I came in multiple times a week. It was really off-putting when I would come in and make eye contact with some of the male therapists and they would not even say hello, they acted very arrogant and would it hurt to say a simple hello or a nod. A couple of downsides: the facility feels a bit outdated, and cleanliness could be better some chairs, therapy beds, and floor area were dusty. I would be on the carpet and I could see all the dust it was really gross. They need to do better! I also wish the therapists spent more than about 15 minutes with patients before handing off to aides, who didn't always seem fully confident with the exercises. Even with those concerns, I'm thankful for the progress I made here and for the staff who genuinely cared about my recovery.
