Not to disparage on a five star chiropractor, but back in 2011, I went in on a Groupon and got three adjustments to my back - and those were perfectly fine and great and all. The only thing was around that time I hurt the right side of my foot and experienced nerve pain. I got advice about it being numb from nerve damage and Dr. Gould told me don't worry about going to a podiatrist and to come back in three months, and if it still hurting he'd adjust it and work on it for me. After three months, I returned and his words were, "Huh, I guess it's like that forever now." Long story short, the right side of my foot IS like that forever now. I wish I didn't listen and would've gotten a second opinion from a podiatrist. I also wish I hadn't waited three months like he told me. read more
