I have been visiting Dr. Press for the past several years, whenever I experience an issue and will continue to do so as Dr. Press ALWAYS heals me. My most recent visits were due to injuring my left knee, cause unknown. This injury concerned me as I woke in the middle of the night with excruciating pain in left knee finding it difficult to walk, lift my leg and climb stairs. This was really bad. So the following day, stayed off feet and iced knee. I took this day to decide if I should visit Dr. Press or an Orthopedic. Needless to say, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Press. While using medication or KT tape gave him temporary relief, the pain never fully went away. After his coaches recommended physical therapy, we discovered that he has scoliosis. Why I sought help: It was a domino effect for me over time. I had broke both my toes and it was messing up my gate as I walked which quick escalated into lower and mid back pain. I thought I could soldier through it and hoped it would go away. Fast forward 4 weeks later, my toes were much better but my back did not get better and had got even worse. I couldn't get in and out of bed without 8 or 9 level pain. The pain was the same when I got in and out of the car as well. Simple tasks were unbelievably painful: getting groceries, picking up things from the floor, putting my shoes on... Dr. Press and his staff are amazing. My wife came here first and suggested I go see him as well. One Sunday I started having this weird vertigo issue. My wife said go get your neck adjusted, make an appointment to see Dr. Press. The next day I finished work without managing to hurl and went in for a neck adjustment. This is the first time I've ever got adjusted and Dr. Press said I was really locked up. Well, first session went great! The staff is welcoming, music selection is on point, and everyone is so nice! There's something about this office that makes me feel like I'm surrounded by positive energy. It doesn't feel like a typical doctor's office visit. I had reached for an object below and to my right that resulted in a back spasm so painful that I dropped to the floor, and was in agony for two days. My 9 year old injured his lower back falling while running at school 1 year ago. It was so bad he couldn't walk or sit. Even going to the bathroom required assistance. Any movement would make him cry/tremble. Took him to the ER, they did an X-ray and give him Tylenol. The X-ray showed nothing wrong, so I asked how long recovery would take and the ER said WEEKS. They couldn't figure out what the problem was. I couldn't let him suffer or miss school for weeks. I didn't want to just give my child (8 at the time) pain medication around the clock, hoping/waiting for the injury to resolve on its own. Went on Yelp and found this Chiropractor. After 3 separate appointments my son got so much better, it was a huge relief. He was able to do what any normal kid should and returned to school. Tuesday night I was having sciatic nerve pain. It was so bad that I couldn't sleep because my right leg was uncomfortable in all positions. Only thing worse was trying to shift positions. Ouch! Three days later it was less painful but still very uncomfortable. So, I limped into Dr. Press's office. He assessed the problem and made a quick adjustment. I felt immediate relief. Could even walk without limping afterwards. An ice compress was recommended which also helped immensely. The next morning, I went in for a second adjustment. That did the trick! I walked out of the office feeling almost normal. On the way out the door Dr. Press said there was no need for another adjustment until a week from today and even then, if I was feeling normal the visit wouldn't be necessary. At the joint it feels more like being herded through like cattle, rather than actually receiving personal treatment, and I was not thrilled with their treatment but enough about them. I've been seeing Dr. Press for about a year now and I couldn't be more thankful. I suffer from really bad sciatica and had been dealing with the severe pain for years. I ended up with a lower back issue in March of 2023. My lower left was so tight and in pain I was having trouble just standing up. Simple things like being able to tie my shoes were now a challenge between getting to them slowly and dealing with the enormous sharp stabbing pain my lower back would send me. I had heard about Dr.Press through a few different people but was skeptical and decided not to go to first time, the whole chiropractor thing makes me nervous. But once I threw out my back and had pain on my whole right side from lower back, mid back to leg, hips I said I'll try anything. Keep in mind my pain was at an unbearable 8, and i could barely move. Since then my care has been in great hands, (quite literally!) I'm in and out usually in under 40 minutes after ultrasound, stim, and gentle, effective spinal manipulation.
