The decorations with pink balloons, flowers, and pink ribbons looked festive and were a great way to celebrate breast cancer awareness. I wrote a negative review of the Rolling Oaks Women's Center in Thousand Oaks a few months ago. Yesterday I had a follow up mammogram at the Nancy Reagan Breast Center and it was great. The staff was kind, compassionate and very efficient. I will never go back to Rolling Oaks and will continue my breast healthcare at Nancy Reagan Center. She had short dark hair and was also very nice. I was in and out in about 35 mins. I had to wait a month and a half for an appointment. read more

EBCD - enhanced mammogram save my life, it was able to detect .6mm breast cancer tumor. I have no lump or any symptoms. If I have not paid the additional cost of $40.00 I would never would have known it was there. I highly recommend the EBCD. The facility and staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. No one answers the phone so you can make an appointment. I've called several times and days in a row. I've even left a message and no one calls back. I finally had to go in person just to make an appointment. I've been having mammograms there for years and never had this problem. Something needs to be done to improve the efficiency of the office. First of all to make an appointment on line...I prefer a sharp stick in the eye to the person who designed the HUGE FLAW. Made my appointment. Put in all my information. Arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled check-in. 2 windows 1 open 4 people waiting to check in. 3 people in the back. Chatting it up. Person helping me was more concerned about what a nurses opinion was about a paper she wrote. Stepped away just to thank and hug her. As patients are waiting. Hello!!!!At some point during my (wasted time) she told me my ins card was not valid. Although since January it has been used with no problem. She claimed I was not in the system. Asked ME to call my insurance. What ever happened to helping the PATIENT who did all they were supposed to. If they were busy up the kazoo of course I will. But when 3 are just chatting it up on their personal crap . Not help the patient SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Quality here is NOT QUALITY. 45 miles one way and my time. I'm got a headache. Was able to get me in right away due to DX and other upcoming procedure. Check in was super easy . Procedures were fast . short wait and it wasn't busy so the doctor reviewed while i waited and gave me GREAT NEWS . This clinic felt more like you were having your procedure in your living room . Had a homey feel. Was told they will be remodeling soon. I'd come back here for routine care staff was nice so i'd imagine their cancer care would be decent here . read more

My annual visit was exceptional - only giving a good review due to the new customer service phone bank to set up your appointment and do your prequalification work. It is outsourced overseas where English is not the operator's first language. It was very challenging - my birthday is the 30th of the month and she couldn't understand the difference in pronunciation between 13th and 30th....took 3 times to finally get it resolved. I wish this process is reverted back to being handled locally. read more

I had a breast ultrasound at this facility on Aug 7. When I signed in, I was told I needed to pay $150 (it was demand) in order to get the test. I told them I need an invoice, and the explanation of benefits from my insurance in order to pay, (it was like we do not care, you pay or you leave). To make the story short I had to pay so I had the exam done. It's Oct 5, (2 months later) I got the EOB from my insurance showing Patient responsibility is $90. I had to call the center to get reimbursed. This not acceptable, if I didn't check my EOB I wouldn't know that the center overcharged me and they own me. ( the center never contact me to inform me of their mistake) BE CAREFUL WITH THIS CENTER, AND CHECK YOUR EOB's, YOU MIGHT BE SURPRISED THAT THE CENTER OWNS YOU SOME $$$. I am going to check previous services I had it done at this center, compared with EOB's they might own me more $$$ read more

After waiting for over an hour and a half for two chest X-rays, I finally could not take it any longer and had to leave. I am scheduled to have my gallbladder removed this Friday and I'm really hoping that I will be able to get these two simple X-rays that I need for clearance for surgery and that it's not now too late. I was in tears by the time I left the center yesterday because the pain was continuing to build while I waited all that time. I'm not well and this took me over the edge. I've never had an experience like this before at this center but of all times for it to happen, it was horrible timing for me for the center to be failing so spectacularly. I will try again today and hopefully I will leave with more than just paperwork, receipt for services not ever rendered, a ton of gut pain, tears and no images. read more

First time having Mammogram. Person to help me was either very passionate or terribly irritated very easily. Received the first billing over $300. I paid $52.73 Yesterday I received another two billing statements for $692.00. They charged the insurance over $1,000. The title of this place, Nancy Regan makes you believe they have heart. Maybe because they are associated with Simi Valley hospital but they're charging a fortune. In today's world this really hurts. This was not a full Mammogram but just one side redo at the six month time. Guess that would have been $2,000. read more

I went for my first mammogram. I told the technician my health records and informed her that it was my first time. The machine was on too tight asked her to loosen it she did not want to because she said that if she listens it they will not have a good picture. I said I don't care I am in pain. She seemed bothered that I was asking her to lose it. She had no bedside manner! I was hurting so bad and still am I can't sleep on my stomach. I went to my obgyn yesterday cause main is not going away. Now I have to get an ultrasound. I am so worried and in so much pain. read more

Going here for the past 20 yrs or more. Never had a complaint, they have the most up to date 3D machine. The test wasn't painful just a little uncomfortable for a few seconds. Never have had to wait for long before having the test done. Very friendly and professional staff. read more

I have had my annual mammogram completed here for many years and they are professional and caring. My technician this time was Lucy and, since I was there for two types of procedures, she was clear with directions and instructions (where to go, what to do, what would happen next) and I felt at ease, even though there is always that "what if" in the back of your mind.
