At that appointment, she told me I had a non-viable pregnancy based solely on seeing a gestational sac that, in her opinion, was not measuring as it "should." She is not a doctor, yet she proceeded to tell me I would miscarry and even advised me to lie to my OB and say I was bleeding in order to be seen sooner. This conversation took place in front of my husband and stepdaughter. My family and I spent an entire week devastated, grieving a pregnancy we were told was over. When I finally contacted my OB, I was seen the same week. A vaginal ultrasound confirmed a baby, gestational sac, and a heartbeat. These types of businesses need to understand the seriousness of what they are saying to vulnerable patients. Giving definitive, frightening medical opinions and advice--especially when unqualified to do so--is reckless and emotionally harmful. I deeply regret going here and trusting an opinion that caused unnecessary trauma. Do not rely on places like this for anything beyond keepsake images. I came in at 30 weeks, and she immediately expressed doubt about being able to get good pictures because I was already pretty far along. I tried to stay positive, but her attitude made it hard to feel hopeful. During the ultrasound, my baby was hiding her face, which of course isn't the tech's fault. However, what did make the experience uncomfortable was that she kept yawning very noticeably throughout the appointment. I completely understand being tired, but the constant large yawns made the experience feel a little awkward. I also felt like my questions may have annoyed her. I asked twice where my baby's head was, and her response made me feel like I was bothering her. That said, I was very grateful that they offer a second chance appointment. I came back today, and this time my experience was wonderful. The new ultrasound tech was incredibly sweet, gentle, and patient. I wish I had gotten her name so I could give her proper credit. My baby was still a little stubborn and hiding at times, but the tech stayed positive and patient throughout the whole session. Because of her kindness and effort, we were able to get some great pictures and videos of my baby.

The room was VERY spacious, with a couch for my family and a chair next to me for my husband to sit comfortably while the scan was being done, the scan lasted about 20 minutes.
