This spa is running a special facial and Botox so I decided to check it out! My aesthetician Brenna did an amazing job with my pumpkin facial. She spent a lot of time exfoliating my face and then massaging it. The products smelled so good too. Lizzy in the front office is absolutely fabulous and the place looks great and very relaxing. Next I got Botox and it didn't hurt a bit and I am super sensitive. Cindy put ice on the injection spots and did just the right amount. I was breaking out before my wedding so they squeezed me in for two last minute facials with Brenna (Liz, the receptionist, was so accommodating with scheduling). Brenna did the dermaplane add-on as well as a mini peel and the results were amazing! My skin was glowing for my wedding. I had a great experience overall with Bloom Med Spa. I came in for regular micro needling and the price was $399 which is pretty average/ good. Tara and the nurse were exceptional at ensuring I was checked in and everything went smoothly. I will say this was one of the most painful microneedling services I've ever had even with numbing cream so be ready. I've had lots of experience with microneedling services and it's never been this painful. I did notice a slight difference in my skin (face) after a month so it worked well. I'm fully aware that with my skin needs I need multiple sessions to get the results I want. read more

Right when I walked in the nurse in at the front desk (Mia) was absolutely nice! She answered all my questions. I showed her the last lip filler I got. She was not familiar with the brand. I have been a loyal patient of Bloom Med Spa for over 2 years and up until this week, I had been very happy with their services. This week though, oof. On the Bloom805 website, there's a deal where you buy a $300 gift card, you get a $25 bonus, which I've utilized before, without issue. Well, not this time. I purchased the gift card, THROUGH THEIR WEBSITE, and thought it odd that I didn't receive an email with the gift card code, but didn't think much of it because I had a receipt and the funds had been taken from my account with the payer being "PayPal***MathBloom." I was treated by Nurse Natalie(who is amazing btw), went to the front desk gal, Lizzy, to get checked out and payment squared away. I was a little dismayed that she didn't have all my stuff pulled up and ready as I went to check out, but no biggie. They use a third party gift card service called Giftup, which I only knew because of my previous gift card purchase in May of this year. Lizzy, who I feel could use some training on customer service and frankly, how to speak to people, went to process everything through, she processed it as though the gift card was there and said it might have just been a glitch that we weren't seeing the gift card. Later that day, I received a call from Lizzy stating that they still don't have record of the gift card and I would need to "pay what I owe" ASAP. Let me take a second to mention, the amount I "owed" was $274, which my $300+$25 bonus gift card would have covered. While it's no small amount, it's also not like I had 3 syringes of filler and 60 units of Botox worth of charges, and considering I've been going there for 2+years, they've definitely made a lot of money on my patronage. I explained that this was ridiculous that I'm having to track down my gift card/money after USING THEIR WEBSITE to purchase the gift card, I even emailed them the receipt. Lizzy was all too quick to point out the name of the company in the receipt didn't match any company that they are affiliated with, I took the 2.5 seconds to look it up and it's the parent company for Giftup, the app that they use for their gift cards...I even have the text from May where they directed me to that exact app to check my balance. I had to tell this woman, who WORKS there that yes, it is a company affiliated with a service that they use. I was met with a hostile text response that basically said, Dr. Bloom doesn't recognize that company and it has nothing to do with Bloom Med Spa and I needed to contact them immediately to pay "what I owe." I've spent THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS at Bloom Med Spa, and on this day I was being spoken to as if I was some con-person trying to grift them by purchasing a gift card AGAIN, FROM THEIR WEBSITE! I had a few texts and phone calls back and forth with Lizzy, who had become increasingly rude and indignant about the whole situation basically saying it was on me to figure it out and I better be calling in a payment to them to settle my account. Despite this being some issue with the gift card company that THEY utilize, I was the one who first contacted the company regarding the gift card purchase. I received an email back stating they had some issues that day with processing payments and the funds had been out on hold in my account, to be released back to me, allegedly, that day. After explaining to Lizzy that the company she works for DOES in fact, utilize Giftup(and, in turn, the company listed on my receipt), she stated that she, too, would email the company...all the while making it PAINFULLY clear that I owed them money and basically, pay up. She then received a similar email response back from Giftup stating the same thing they told me. It's been well over 24 hours later and the funds still are in limbo and not in my account. I was in absolute SHOCK at the responses I received from Lizzy, there was no apology for the error on the part of their contracted company, all she had to say was basically, sorry but it's not our issue and it was out of their hands/control. You know what was in their control, how they treated and spoke to me. I have NEVER been treated this way by a company that I have been loyal and faithful to for over 2 years. I didn't receive any apology, other than "sorry but it's not our issue." I did receive a voicemail from Nurse Natalie, seemingly trying to smooth things over after the abrasive and unprofessional exchanges I had with Lizzy, stating she was sorry for all the confusion but basically, I needed to call in a payment to them ASAP as it was not their issue...I'm still waiting to see the refunded money in my bank account and I'll be damned if I'm going to fork over another almost $300 to them when I'm not even positive the transaction won't go through. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Shame on you Bloom Med Spa. read more

I have had my Botox and lip fillers done at other med spas, but none compare to Bloom Med Spa. Mia and Erin are the best! Very friendly, and trustworthy. Dr. Bloom is a heartless individual that only cares about money. Stay far away from his practice. He does not care about his patients. I had PDO threads done. Long story short, the PDO threads caused permanent damage. The laser treatment that was done to fix the PDO threads also caused permanent scarring (she overcorrected). Dr. Bloom was literally YELLING at me during one of my follow up visits because I was requesting laser treatment on my full face (prior to the permanent/over correcting laser incident), not just the spot where the threads were. He accused me of trying to get free services from his spa rather than apologizing and trying to make up for the permanent damage caused on my face. When I asked for a refund, he said they would only give me a partial refund because the threads were still in my forehead. Seriously?!?! I had to take time off work, get babysitters, use sick time because the procedure caused migraines, and I STILL have all the damage on my face, because they caused PERMANENT DAMAGAGE, and this guy only cared about money. He did not take any of my circumstances into consideration, was completing rude and degrading. When any other GOOD company messes up, they try to make things right, empathize, reach out to the customer to turn something bad into a good thing. Not Dr. Bloom. He couldn't care less. Every time I look in the mirror I'm reminded of that Dr. Bloom is a terrible person. If you care about how you look and how you are treated when something goes wrong, stay away from this location. Erin was nice until Dr. Bloom was in the room, then she switched it up on me. At first she was apologetic and offered to "make things right" (in writing, in my dm's), but when Dr. Bloom was there her tone changed. In the end, they refused to treat me with any service to fix their mistake because they "weren't going to be able to make me happy" and did not have the proper tools to correct their mistake. Dr. Bloom didn't even have the decency to call me himself to tell me this. He put his front desk person (Mia, who is so sweet) in charge of calling me to share the lovely news. I would have been happy if I was treated with respect, concern, empathy, all trait's Dr. Bloom lacks. Feel free to reach out to me if you need more information on this review! Happy to help save anyone else from permanent damage and a constant reminder of a terrible human being. BTW, they no longer offer PDO threads because of all the problems they were causing. I was looking for a place in Ventura County to get some work done and after doing my research I decided to give Bloom Med Spa a try. I have no regrets in Botox for my forehead, crows feet, and lip flip. Fortunately I didn't have enough wrinkles in my forehead for 50 units but what was left was used for a lip flip and I'm in love. The staff is professional, informative and answers any questions you have. They made me feel super comfortable from the moment I walked it and accommodated me since I have a really tight schedule. Only thing is I do wish they were open during the weekends. I can see this place into turning something HUGEEEE and I can't wait to say I saw it BLOOM!!! lol.
