Roasted chicken breast & leg quarter very dry and completely overcooked never again.

That was the worst roast chicken I've ever had. Extremely dry and lacking flavour. It honestly looked as though someone else had already started eating it. Nothing even remotely close to the pic in the menu. Do better, you guys. Never again.

This place is all about chicken and in my neighbourhood, so I was looking forward to enjoy a meal here - I decided to meet some friends here to have dinner. The food is A-OK, but I found the dinner menu very overpriced. There were not many options to choose from, finally I decided to order one of the mains (the avocado chicken salad). It was not a bad salad, the dill dressing was nice, but charging 20 bucks for that plate is a bit excessive in my opinion. I think my advice would be to come here for a quick lunch and not in the evening expecting an outstanding dinner. Maybe I'll give the review another pass once I try the lunch menu, but for now... not impressed!

I usually am not a fan of fried chicken because it's greasy af and not good for me, but Love Chix is like a higher class KFC. The food was really good but I personally just don't like fried chicken that much which is why I gave it a 3 stars. We ordered a whole chicken and was given the option of having half of it roasted and the other deep fried to crispy. On the sides we had a butter chicken (which was my favourite part of the meal), roasted brussel sprouts and a salad on the side. I don't think I would come with just one person the next time if I was to return but this place is great for groups and for those who love a good chicken.

Arrived here just in time, I say this because the bartender who was also the waitress informed us the kitchen was just about to close, luckily we got to place the last order of the night. I got their Fried chicken sandwich, my wife got a salad, we soon discovered this was another bar that serves craft beer, luckily my wife was able to sample the type she thought she may have wanted before deciding to order that beer. I'm not a beer person, but the cocktail menu was pretty enticing so much so I plan to go back soon to try a drink and order a second helping of their delicious fried chicken. The Fries came with a parmesan cheese coating, the Fries were perfect. Fried to perfection, the parmesan added a perfect touch, and when dipped in the sauces from the chicken it added a flavor profile that is out of this world. I only have one suggestion if you chose their Fried Chicken sandwich, the sauces will spill out on your hands so do not wear white if this is what you intend on getting. I also highly recommend treating your self to the french fries as your side, you will not regret it. The waitress was on the super bubbly side, especially given the time of night.

Came across Love Chix by accident and it was probably the best blessing of my week. I got the hot chicken sandwich with Brussels sprouts as a side. The sandwich was soooo good, it's sweet and sour with a slight kick to it and the chicken was fried to perfection. This is something I highly recommend to everyone trying this joint out! I got the Brussels sprouts because I've heard good things about it and honestly it wasn't my thing, just a personal preference. Overall I loved this place, the owners are very welcoming and nice and the decor is so cute.

This is a favourite haunt of those who live int he neighbourhood. As their name suggests, they specialize in chicken. It's a pleasure to have a nice sit-down location in a neighbourhood full of Portuguese churrasqueiras (bbq and rotisserie, often take-out only). Atmosphere: It's a pleasant casual spot, clean and charmingly decorated. A great place for conversation as it's never loud. They have the option of a larger table that sits about 6, some high top tables and seats at the bar. There are some good wine and beer choices but we usually focus on the cocktails. They used to sell some of their fresh produce, but we're not entirely sure if that's still a thing. In the summer they have a nice little patio off to the side with picnic tables. The Food: They make all the best chicken dishes - roti, caesar salad, chicken burgers, chili, hot and cold sandwiches, butter chicken, and whole roasted chicken! We particularly like that dishes can include both dark and white meat. Brunches include omelettes, breakfast sandwiches, steak and eggs, cassoulet amongst other things. We come here mostly for the amazing crunchy fried chicken with honey and hot sauce.

Very good hot chicken sandwich, next time I'd ask for less sauce (dripping).. Nice clean interior. Great addition to area.

Came here for brunch with friends. It's a nice spot in the Junction area. I asked for the infamous Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich. It came with a good-size portion of chicken - accompanied by a generous amount of their honey hot sauce, buttermilk ranch, and arugula. The fried chicken was very tasty - and that honey hot sauce... though a bit on the sweet sauce, it's got nice heat at the end! I really enjoyed it - but if you don't like sweet, you might not love this sauce. I upgraded the side salad for fries (naturally)! They were very crispy & tasty! I really enjoyed them. I also had their Bloody Caesar - which had a house mix of spices. It was one of the best Caesars I've had! Overall a cool spot. Enjoyed their food - though I found the fried chicken sandwich & fries combo expensive at $21 + tax. That's my only complaint. For more food tips & reviews, follow me on Instagram @foodiefork

We just decided that this is our new favourite brunch place. The eggs benny with brussel sprouts was a generous portion and super delicious. There was also $1 per ounce house wine and $5 draft pints. Great food, service and value. Highly recommended.

Casual dining experience with obvious focus on chicken. The meat was moist, sauce had a nice flavour and paired with chicken nicely. Fresh ingredients, locally sourced and organic. Service was nice too. The three stars can improve just needs something but hard to put a finger on it. Worth a shot, especially if you love chicken!

I ordered the fried chicken sandwich which I was insanely excited about trying. The chicken itself was nicely spicy and juicy, however the bun itself really let this burger down. It didn't have the juicy taste I was expecting, I instead ate just the meat and left the bun. The fries were INSANELY salty, so much so I couldn't actually eat them, the waitress told me it was parmesan however I'm not too sure as I love cheese and this just tasted like salt? She did offer to bring me another batch of fries without the parmesan which I politely declined. The cider was also great! If I came back I would order the fried chicken alone with no bun, and the fries without the salty Parmesan

This restaurant in the junction has been on many different blogs and websites about Toronto that I had to check it out, and I wasn't disappointed. We order the butter chicken (BlogTO rated it one of the best in Toronto) and the Fried Chicken. Both plates came out for with great presentation and tasted as good as they looked. The chicken was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside and the butter chicken was thicker than I am used to but it made it easier to eat it with naan bread. The restaurant isn't that large but is good for groups up to 6 people, plus hey have a well stocked bar.

Overall, my experience was alright. Nothing screamed out "Oh I have to go again!" or "let me tell…read moresomeone about this!". The piece of chicken on my sandwich was a rather peculiar piece in terms of its shape. It did not provide an enjoyable eating experience. When I took my first bite, after figuring out which would be an easy bite, a piece of chicken fell out which made me realize it was two separate pieces of chicken inbetween two buns. It got rather messy after having to pick up the fallen pieces. Other than that, it was flavorful but wasn't the best I've had. I prefer Dave's Hot Chicken over this. My fries were pretty salty. If given the option, I would have requested lightly salted or no salt at all. Space was small but understandable as it seemed to be a carry-out spot. Customer service wasn't quite all that. The girl took our order and that was it. Not much of a greeting nor farewell/thanks for coming. We didn't receive a follow-up during our meal to see if we may needed anything. I would have benefited from extra napkins. My friend enjoyed his meal. He stated it was a good meal but he wouldn't go out of his way to get this. He would have preferred to uber-eats it if he lived here. What made me want to go was the name. My last name is the same as the restaurant name so I figured give it a go! Also saw positive reviews on TikTok.

When they say their chicken is crispy, they mean it! The coating was crispy and surprisingly not greasy at all while the chicken was thick and juicy. The bun is fluffy and slightly sweet. Overall there was an enticing balance of flavours and textures at the right price. The sandwich was made fresh and took about 10 minutes. Staff were lovely. They launched a new brand on 2020-10-19: Bubba's Crispy Fried Chicken, inside Mi Tacos. It is a delivery and takeout only business focusing on fried chicken and a few sides. I usually don't like fried chicken because of the greasy skin but Bubba's chicken skin is crispy (as in their name) and not greasy So I love it. The Chocolate Chicken comes with a very slight spicy chocolate and mango salsa; definitely a great combination. The Nashville Hot wasn't too hot but the cool pickles and honey greatly offset any hotness. I also love the the Coleslaw and Mac & Cheese were great. There are small tables and booth seating. During pandemic times, there are hand sanitizers available at the entrance and bar. Pickup orders are placed on a table at the front of the restaurant. There is also outdoor seating, weather permitting. There is free WiFi. There are highchairs. There are separate male/female washrooms. The restaurant is accessible, including the washroom.
