    Edge falling apart exactly after 1 year

    Not what the brand it used to be, purchased a wallet exactly 1 year ago and the edging is already falling apart. Wallet is barely in the pocket, it's always in my drawer at work or on the tv stand at home. Contacted LV and was quoted $195 to redo the edging

    Today I went in to get my LV duffle bag. I got the black/grey monogram one with free hot press, ready within 30 minutes. I do want to highlight Elaine, one of the customer specialist. She was so patient with me while I went back and forth with the size and color I wanted my duffle bag. She brought out so many different sizes and options for me. Also, the Hispanic gentleman that does the hot press was super friendly and even allowed me to get my LV wallet hot pressed. Great customer service!

    This was my first visit since covid. I arrived at 11:05am...5 minutes after they opened and there was a line! I would have ordered online, but the site said they were sold out of the Odeon PM. I called customer service and they told me that there was one in stock and I didn't need an appointment. I never needed an appointment, but I'm assuming it's covid related? There were 4 parties ahead of me. They allow 2 max per party. The line went fairly quick. I was in line for less than 10 minutes before being escorted in and introduced to Jasmine. As we walked to the counter, I told her what I wanted and she knew exactly where the bag was located. Sold! That was easy! I actually prefer the covid protocol. Less people makes for a better shopping experience!

    I didn't know there were two stand-alone Louis Vuitton stores in South Coast Plaza. I initially went to the location on the first floor to pick up my LV Rodeo Bandeau. I waited in line for about five minutes and was disappointed when the lady told me I had to go to the location upstairs. I went to the location on the second floor. I liked that there were two lines - one for walk-ins and another for appointments and online order pick-up. I still had to wait another ten to fifteen minutes, but when I was called to come in, the friendly gentleman (I believe he said his name was Rafael) showed me my purchase. I was in-and-out in less than a minute.

    This location is beautifully designed and well laid out. My girlfriend and I visited to pick out a birthday gift, and the SA (Carolyn L) who assisted us was extremely helpful. We were initially considering simply purchasing online, but her in-person assistance was invaluable. Carolyn helped us compare multiple pieces, try them out on-body, and went above and beyond to get the mini soft trunk I picked out shipped to my East Coast address. She was extremely attentive but not pushy or hovering. In the end, I'm glad we went in and had the in-store experience rather than just doing another online purchase.

    We went there in early March 2022 to look at some of their products and shop. We needed time to think about our choice and decided that we will come back. We forgot an expensive water bottle there, we called next day and they said they have it and to come pick it up anytime. The sales people are very friendly. We returned couple of weeks after at the end of March (yesterday 03/14/22) to purchase an item (an item that costs thousands) and we forgot a cell phone there. We asked for the our bottle/canteen and they stated that they now cannot locate it! And apologized. We left the store and did not make a deal out of it. Its just a bottle after all. We went the next day first thing in the morning. They would not let us in the store! Then they asked us to wait outside! We waited 15 mins then asked an associate for an update, and to remind them that we have been waiting and what we are waiting for. They snapped at us! And stated "you cannot go in we are not open!" It was 10am and we waited to 1015am. But they were saying that they open at 11am. If thats the case they should update their profile. This is not the customer's problem. Security of the mall finally came and gave us the phone. And we left quietly but we were very unpleased and irritated with this terrible treatment and very poor customer service! We decided to try to reach the manager but the phone number takes you to the corporate office customer service who are not able to connect the call but can take a message. We asked in the message for the manager to call us. We received a text hours after from a (Jozik) that we can come to the store to return the item we purchased?! ....Wow just wow I replied to the text that I requested AND would like to a phone call. This was the first time I shop for LV and most likely my last. Screw this. This is unacceptable. I did not noticed their rating is 3.2/5 go figure smh

    I wanted an exotic bag and I asked Walnut creek my wonderful CA Nika to find this particular bag. She apparently found it at this store Costa Mesa not only where they unwilling to send her the bag without making sure that their store gets credit for it, but they didn't send me a receipt. They didn't package it right and it was damaged when he got to me. All the manager and the sales people they cared about was that they got the credit for the sale can you believe this? Granted it isn't $8000 bag but what about me? What about what I need? I tried to return the bag because of the damage and we couldn't even return it and Walnut creek because of how they did it at Costa Mesa so basically they made it impossible for me to return so that they could get credit and keep the credit. it's all the same company right? So why would Costa Mesa do this bad management? Selfish people? Customer service really taking a decline it's unfortunate because Louis Vuitton is one of my favorite brands. At least Walnut creek store is still wonderful! When I go to return the bag, I don't want to go back to Costa Mesa so they better do something to help me get my return because this is outrageous. I've had the bag for less than a week and I can't even return it their policy is 30 days.

I got into leatherwork more seriously around a year ago when I began putting together a Game Of Thrones costume, and the staff here was always helpful, steering me to the stuff I needed (and just as important, steering me away from stuff I didn't need). My only quibble is that each Tandy shop used to have a big scrap-leather bin. Over the years I got most of the leather I needed there. I suppose because of COVID they got rid of the bin and now they only sell scrap leather in big mystery bags where you don't really know what you're getting. (Yes the bags are clear but you can't see everything, can't know how big the various scraps are, and can't feel how stiff or pliable each piece is.) Here's a photo of my Game Of Thrones belts. Tandy's Celtic stamp set contains several stamps that were used by the Game Of Thrones costumers, allowing me to make an exact replica of the character's belts.

There was a guy behind the counter looking like he was watching videos on the computer. I told him what I wanted to do and he vaguely pointed to two parts of the store that I could look in but offered no additional help when I was clear that this was all new to me. There was another gal who was eating lunch in a back room and I asked her if she minded that I ask a quick question or two. She was more than willing to stop her lunch for a couple of minutes and help me out. When the guy up front saw that I was talking with the woman he called to me from the front of the store that she was at lunch and then came back but didn't offer to step in and answer my questions so she could go back to lunch. Clearly the guy was interested in only collecting his paycheck while the gal, and while interrupting her lunch wasn't at the top of her list, was certainly willing to help a customer who clearly needed help.

    I'd like to make this rating 4 1/2 stars, as my experience was very good, but not quite 5 stars…read more Maybe 4.75 stars. I'll always round up in favor of actual customer service. I've had my Hein Gericke jacket for over 28 years, and have ridden about 140,000 miles while wearing it. The collar and one cuff were split, and some snaps were tired. Like another reviewer, I'd seen Anthony's ad in American Motorcyclist magazine, and was aware that they had a good reputation. I shipped my jacket off, and when I got it back I found two small disappointments, involving snaps on the neck and one cuff. After phone conversations and e-mails with Greg, I shipped it back, and got it back the second time with a refreshingly brief turnaround time. In addition to the factory-quality repairs (above info does not list alI work), I had Anthony's sew on a patch for me (for a reasonable extra fee), and clean and condition my old friend. It's now shiny, which was unexpected (an observation, not a complaint). I mentally deducted part of a star from my rating because of the need to send the jacket twice, but added back on part of a star for conscientious and friendly customer service. One small surprise: as a second back-and-forth shipping became necessary, I wondered whether Leatherworks might create a UPS return slip, as a former employer of mine always did for such situations. I'm not actually disappointed, as I'm aware that small businesses don't have unlimited budgets. The work was not inexpensive, but being able to wear a high-quality and well-loved garment for another couple of decades (if I last that long) is worth it. Accepting the cost was eased after I compared the purchasing power of the 1997 dollars with which I bought my jacket to that of the 2026 repair dollars. It was worth it.

I was quoted $175 for what was described as a simple refresh of the leather and color, which sounded fair for a quality restoration. But when I picked up the bag, I was honestly heartbroken by the result. The pigment was smeared and stuck all over the hardware, which hadn't been polished or cleaned at all. The color on the leather was patchy, with uneven tones and visible blemishes. What used to be smooth, soft leather now feels rough and sandy, almost like it was stripped instead of restored. It also looks like no waterproofing or protective finish was applied. I don't doubt that they do excellent work on shoes and smaller leather items, but based on my experience, I wouldn't trust them again with a high-end handbag. For the price and the promise, this was a huge disappointment.
