From the very first visit, the entire staff has been consistently professional, kind, and incredibly attentive. I've been under their care since January 2025, and the improvement in both my symptoms and overall quality of life has been incredible. The front office and clinical staff run a smooth, organized practice, and you're always treated with respect and genuine care. Appointments are efficient without ever feeling rushed, and it's clear that patient comfort and outcomes truly matter here. A very special thank‑you to Amy Brussee, PA‑C, who has been overseeing my care. Amy is thorough, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. She listens, answers questions thoughtfully, and makes each visit feel personalized rather than transactional. I always leave confident that I'm in excellent hands. I also want to recognize Melanie, the nurse who administers my allergy shots. She is consistently kind, calm, and professional, and makes what could easily be an uncomfortable process incredibly easy and stress‑free. THANKS, MEL!! If you're looking for an allergist or sinus specialist in Chicago who combines clinical expertise with genuine compassion, I highly recommend Chicago Nasal and Sinus Center. They set the bar for what patient‑centered care should look and feel like.

He educated me about the sinuses and where my pain and discomfort were coming from and offered solutions. I was using a product that was not working well for me so that was good to know as well. He made clear that he's available to me for further follow up consultation/discussion if I want to call him. His office was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and knew their stuff. Although I didn't use it, they have parking validation stickers for a lot a couple of blocks away. I will recommend him to anyone who needs an ENT, without reservation.

He was local and received good reviews so decided to try him. He examined me and told me my left nostril was severely deviated and he recommended surgery. Not wanting surgery, I elected to try meds and spray which didn't do much. I had my annual physical with my doctor this Feb and while we were wrapping up, I told him I was considering septoplasty surgery however wanted to do a sleep study first. My Dr. looked into my left nostril and right away told me to get the septoplasty done asap. I met with Dr. Bliz again to schedule surgery. He told me he does surgery out of Metro South in Blue Island. I was really hoping it'd be at Palos Hospital or Silver Cross in New Lenox, but whatever. My surgery was the second week of March. First of all, I was all wrong on Metro South. The place was nice and clean and the nursing staff were super friendly. So that was awesome. Next, recovery. It sucked, period. One piece of advice, DO NOT bend over to pick up anything after septoplasty. If you do, blood will gush out of your nose. Yes, that happened to me just a few hours after surgery and my wife had to rush me to Bliz' office. Well, he stopped the bleeding and I went home that weekend and just laid on the couch, changing bandages every few hours. Dr. Bliz gave me his cell number and told me to text (I could barely talk) or have my wife call if we had any questions over the weekend. I texted him a few times with questions and concerns and he replied right away which I appreciated. After a few days I went back to him as he pulled out the crap in my nose and I was finally able to breath through my nose for the first time all weekend, however, my left nostril was still clogged. He told me that it would take 2-3 weeks before the swelling went down before I'd notice I can finally breath through my left nostril. Right around week 3, it happened. I could FINALLY breath through my left nostril. Dr. Bliz did what he said he'd do, fix my nose. Not only did he do a great job but he's super cool and friendly too, which matters to most civilized people. I will refer anyone I know who is looking for an Ears/Nose/Throat doctor to Dr. Bliz. He now has a patient for life with me, my family and my friends.

I originally had a different time and date for an appointment but had to cancel last minute due to a ridiculous amount of travel delays - I called and explained my situation and the office was very understanding and kind, which made all the difference to me! Their office's patient management is…read moreabsolutely infuriating, and the treatment feels like they are pressuring you into quick fixes, not providing informed care. I did a sleep study here and was diagnosed with sleep apnea by Dr. Friedman in 2023, after which I received an oral appliance from their in-office orthodontist. I stopped treatment with them for the first time because The Chicago Sleep Center, which is under their umbrella, was supposed to do a follow-up study and completely bungled my scheduling: they did not respond to my calls requesting an appointment confirmation, but their automated system texted me to bring three items for my sleep study. When I arrived, the nurse asked if I provided a fourth item that they did not list, which was a small plastic piece for the oral appliance that they easily could have had in the office. My whole appointment was cancelled, and the nurse on duty reacted like this happens often. When the office called to reschedule, they blamed me for not bringing the plastic pieces, and I was so frustrated I stopped care entirely. Two years later, I hoped to restart treatment and asked if I could get a sleep study done somewhere else and submit the results to Dr. Friedman. They told me to come in and said I could do another at-home study instead, after which I would have a telehealth follow-up to discuss the results. The telehealth follow-up was a repeat of the terrible communication at the sleep center. I had to call the day before to ask how the appointment would work, and I was told I would receive a phone call at the appointment time. An hour before the appointment time, I got a text telling me Dr. Friedman was "in my waiting room" with a link that didn't work and a voicemail telling me to call the office to "take care of my appointment." I couldn't even get in touch with the office because it was before their opening time at 8:30, so I just had to wait, fuming because I thought I had missed my appointment entirely. The next two hours was a back and forth about how my appointment would happen: they sent another link that didn't work, then said they would call, then eventually asked if they could FaceTime, which I'm sure is some sort of HIPAA violation. When I told the staff member who had left me a voicemail that I couldn't call him back because it was before office hours, he just said, "Oh right, I forgot about that :)" I couldn't help but just stare at him in disbelief over FaceTime. I could barely hear Dr. Friedman over the video call, and he told me my most recent sleep study did not show I had sleep apnea (???) and that he was recommending two "quick, easy" outpatient operations to address...something? I didn't know what the root cause was, and the visit summary notes were convoluted and listed multiple issues that he didn't mention over the call. I cancelled the appointment two days before because I really felt like I was being pressured into it. I was not notified of potential side effects, why I was having an operation, or even what operation specifically I was having, and when I called the office to ask the name of the operation, the receptionist couldn't tell me and seemed annoyed that she would have to put me through to the medical staff. I will be happily going somewhere else.
