I am so so disappointed with this place. My issues aren't that bad, and I've only had one syringe…read moreof nasolabial filler at a time to get the results I'm looking for. Last time, I tried a teeny bit of cheek filler a couple of months prior, but my usual place was booked up, and I had an event I wanted to look really good for. This time, I splurged. Nasolabial filler, jawline filler, chin filler, and lip filler. None of it was good. I walked out and sat in my car and cried because I knew I wasted $3500 and would need to pay someone else now too. I've never done that before. I waited to write this to see if I it changed after over a month, or if I felt differently. I don't.
First, let me say, the injector was very nice and friendly. I liked her. Her hands shook like CRAZY every time she did an injection, which made it hurt significantly more. When I asked for nasolabial filler, she would only put it in the piriform fossa. I told her I still had previous filler there, and that wasn't the problem area. She said they don't like to fill the line there. So she added significantly more to my piriform fossa, which shifted to the cheek area next to it, which causes an odd bulge, which ironically makes both my cheek look more hollow next to it, and makes my actual preform fossa and top of my nasolabial fold look even deeper, because it looks like I have a small blob of fat there.
I had had a half a mL put in my lips for the first time two months prior, and it didn't do much, so I wanted ro try more. For some reason, when she worked on my lips, she put a ton in the top right, and then a decent amount in the bottom left side, and then hardly any anywhere else. My lips were not crooked like that. I think she couldn't tell the difference between what she was doing and swelling. I now have a one-sided duck lip on my top right lip that's ridiculous, and I'll have to get it dissolved before I can even get it fixed.
I asked for jawline and chin filler to help with some minor jowling and marionette lines. I've seen a million videos about how helpful this is, esp since I had gotten a little bit of cheek filler already too. I specifically said that I don't want the jawline filler places on the outside of my jaw, like I've seen some places do. I told her, I do not want a wider jaw, please put the filler more toward the back and underneath, like I've seen other doctors do. When you place jawline filler down and back and combine it with chin filler, it helps pull the skin and helps alleviate the minor jowling and soften marionette lines. She said of course! But then placed it all on the outside of my jaw, as far as I can tell. It did not help anything except make my jaw look a bit wider. The exact thing I didn't want. I told her that I was considering masseter botox in the future, and that I hate how far they stick out. She seems to have put filler right on top of those muscles, because when I clench them, now it looks like there's a big ball under my skin.
My chin was filled in lopsided. She told me it was just swelling. It's not. It comes down to a point on the left side. She also put some lines of filler under the center of my chin/jaw area. Lines of it. She specifically told me not to massage anything. After still feeling very specific lines of filler there for weeks, I started massaging it. It's been over a month, and that area still has a lump there.
When she handed me the mirror, she hadn't helped anything I had asked her to. The areas that I came in not liking were still the same. Nasolabial folds and marionette lines looked the same. I can't remember if it was 4 or 5 syringes to not look better, and in fact look a little worse in some places. I can't believe it. I'm dumbfounded as to how that's possible, and I'm really upset, because I shouldn't have spent that much money. I was splurging for a special occasion, and because I went to a lousy injector, it was a complete waste of money, and I can't justify spending the money again to get it done properly.
I know that you will probably assume I have really bad sagging or something, and am expecting face lift results from fillers, but trust me, that's not the case. I really don't have bad sagging or anything. Like I said, I'm usually happy with one syringe in my nasolabial folds. I've seen about a million videos with people who are much worse off, with far more sagging, deeper wrinkles, and loose skin, who get very good results from the same or fewer syringes.
