My girlfriend and I came across this place by chance while passing through Fredericton. To start, the restaurant itself is very clean and designed in a trendy manner. We were greeted by people I assume to be the owners, and they immediately offered us a free sample of their delicious sweet egg tart. The menu is clear and organized and has vegetarian and vegan options clearly marked (great for us as one of us is a vegetarian). The woman at the register was also attentive to food allergies and made sure we were aware of the peanuts in certain items. We got the three following items (names approximated): Beijing cold noodles, vegetarian fried rice noodles, and the vegetarian Chinese crêpe (option A2). The food was quickly brought out to our table. The Beijing cold noodles were delicious and vegetarian, and were in a peanut sauce with freshly chopped cucumbers and carrots. The peanut sauce was very tasty, and the noodles were thick and chewy. On such a hot summer day, this was the perfect dish. The vegetarian fried rice noodles were also great with a strong undertone of ginger. Well-prepared and not overly greasy, they had a light and savory flavor and were topped with strips of thinly cooked egg (see attached pictures). The egg crêpe was really good and unlike anything I'd tried before. It was wrapped in an extremely thin omelette and contained lettuce, "crispy, fried crackers," a spicy chili sauce/oil, cilantro, and peanuts. The texture was great and was pretty fun to eat with the contrast between the egg and crunchy crackers. This also seemed like a food that could easily be too greasy but instead was well-prepared, light, and contained no flavors over-powering any of the others. Overall, all three dishes had great flavors and felt healthy. If I were to recommend one dish, I especially loved the Beijing cold noodles. All three dishes were well-portioned and well-priced. My one recommendation would be for the restaurant to stop using single-use plastic dishes/containers for customers who are eating in and to have more recycling options for plastics that are used. At the end of our meal, the cashier handed us a rewards stamp card for a free Chinese crêpe after the purchase of ten crêpes (we're sad it will be difficult to use it since we're from away!). As we said goodbye and mentioned we would be leaving a Yelp review, they thanked us with a free egg tart! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.
