This place really changed. There are only a few eateries here now. It used to be an actual food hall like the packing district or rodeo 39. Now they turned half of the "food hall" into a salon. Lot 579 is the indoor food court that is located within Pacific City right by the Pasea Resort & Hotel. There are some good choices that are not your typical franchise food stalls in a shopping plaza. There is brews, ice cream, sandwiches, meat pies and even a specialty beef jerky merchant. I like the design of the space. It's open and communal. I like this concept as in my hometown of San Francisco we have the Ferry Building Marketplace. Lot 579 seems to be conceptualized along the same lines but in a far smaller scale... I was about to get an Australian meat pie from Pie Not but the menu and aroma coming from Burnt Crumbs got me. I got a cheeseburger on brioche and fries from there and it was good. Their strawberry iced tea was GREAT. Make sure you get that. I got some ice cream for my niece at Hans' Homemade Ice cream near the north entrance to Lot 579. She really liked the flavor and the workers there were super cool... Mahogany Smoked Meats was the beef jerky spot I meant to try but in our hurry to get back to Pasea and check out of our rooms, I forget to swing by. I was so bummed. I will definitely go there the next time I'm in the area. All their jerky sounded and looked great. Plenty of seating. Some communal style seating and some are individual tables. I like the design. The artwork and photographs along the walls definitely stand out. There is a beach asthetic that stands out as it should. Waves, surfing, skateboarding, etc... Classic HB. read more

Whoo hoo, this place has finally OPENED! If you love the food hall concept that Anaheim Packing District offers, then you'll just die over this new retail complex adjacent to Huntington Beach's Pacific City shopping center. There are a handful of different food options available - amazing burgers offered at the American Dream, Han's ice cream, fresh fish at Bear Flag Fish Company, local fast-service chain restaurants and plenty of local brews from Saint Marc Pub and my favorite Bungalow bar (yes, the same one in Santa Monica, CA) is here too! There's an underground parking structure offering 2 hours of free parking with validation. This place is definitely the newest trend out there. It outshines the Anaheim Packing District location because of the beautiful beach front views with that nice open concept space on the second floor. read more

I hate to hate malls "but" I do love Lot 579. It has small quaint coffee shop to ice cream! Especially when you are dying for a sugar fix! Oh yeah babe! This is it! Why suffer? I do not believe in suffering. I am part of the pleasure society. Allow me to show you my Joy Division. For starters it is facing the ocean. Yes Huntington Beach pier is up the street. So while everyone is turning their skin into leather you can be hiding under the cool AC and shade. teehee...LOL The Dudes (new addition) Bear Flag (my fav) American Dream (its hard not to fall in love) Ola Mexican (has and exquisite view) The Bungalow (the cider candle smell will possess you) unisex bathrooms smoking area The parking is free for 2 hours and if you loose your ticket I think it cost me over $30 to get out. =0( Over all I dodge any mall. Great Beer at 4 Brother's Brewery and the food at Phan's 55 Street Food Takeout was AMAZING! The egg rolls were the best I have ever had. So light and crispy on the outside and juicy- wonderful pork and vegetables inside. We had the wings, which were crispy yet still juicy. The char sui bahn mi was delicious, crispy bread with sweet and spicy pork, fresh pickled veggies, it was truly great. Sean, was so funny and friendly and he loves his basketball! Our Hotel Pasea wasn't great, but being next to the food hall with Phan's and 4 Brother's was!! Yum! read more

Lot 579 is a food hall located at Pacific City. They have a few good dining options here including Pop Bar, Han's Homemade Ice Cream. We had previously come from a late lunch so I didn't get to try out any of the savory offerings but I did try out Frosted Cupcakery. I have my eye on PHANS55 Vietnamese food for next time! There's plenty of seating inside. They even have couches to kick back and also a ping pong table. read more

Well I like this place since I'm a fan of this shopping center and location. Last time I went though, there was a couple closing of restaurants. The pie place and the end of Beau Soleil or something like that. Kinda sad. Bear flag is always happening at this location. The hamburger place next to them is also always busy. And Handel's ice cream was real popular on hot days. There is also a Portola Coffee, the popsicle place, cupcake place, Burnt Crumbs, and another couple others that I have tried. They have clean bathrooms and lots of eating locations since not all the restaurant spots are full. You can also Refill your water bottle if you brought one. There are some EXCELLENT places to eat and hangout in this location. Great coffee, beer, dessert, etc. Some of locations have an epic view of the ocean although there is often a hefty line. Although this place gets a lot of foot traffic it is well worth the visit if your looking to get a bite, grab a drink or cure your sweet tooth. I don't like that Huntington Beach allowed Pacific City to become a mini Santa Monica but I will say there is some great quality food in this little food court. I'll be back due to quality of the food and casual yet trendy vibe. read more

I last was here 3 years ago w my kids, we had a great time having gelato n a sandwich in 1 restaurant and some yummy , I was shocked it was a ghost town today, the sandwich place n pizzeria are all gone. I didn't realize it till I read the sad goodbye from the wm oyster owner saying they suffer such losses, they can't cover the monthly rent $28,000 n the owner jacked it up to $30,000, I'm sure the rent in this corner is just as outrageous, what we're they thinking? Lot 579 is the food court section located in Pacific City shopping center. Some have labeled it the Packing District by the ocean. With at least two of the eateries, both the Ice Cream place & Pop Bar, are also located in Lot 579. Lot 579 is the only place to get quick serve food at Pacific City besides Lemonade. The great thing about Lot 579 is the overall design of the place, they have great decor. Also you have an ocean view that you can see from some portion of the food hall. I think their are around 9 eateries so far (2/23/17) Lot 579 is great place to get desserts. What is lacking at the moment is places to eat. There is a sand which place and Pie Not. There is still room to add more food vendors. This place could only get better with the addition of more food vendors to come. Great start to what could become a great food hall. read more

You can spend your whole day just here, this place has everything you need for food, drinks, coffee and desserts, the rest of the Pacific City seems redundant, right? Dude's brewery ties up the place, you can have a beer here while waiting for your buzzer from American Dream to let you know that your table is ready, or just get food from any of the places around, then sit here and add a beer to your dinner. Beautiful development, plenty of paid parking, right now.... Once that condo complex next door opens, not so sure. As a few other have mentioned this is hipsterville for the beach area, but in a decent way. Plenty of food options, flashy shopping and a food area that has nice options for sit down dining with the view of the beach. We tried the Portola coffee and Han's homemade ice cream for a mid-afternoon snack, both were solid. Mid-day there was plenty of seating, looks like a few more restaurants are underdevelopment, it should be fun to come back to check them all out. We'll be back. read more

Steps from the beach, a block from Huntington beach's Main Street, and nearby to other great shops and restaurants. Cool place, with a lot of great options to checkout inside. This review is for the facility. They don't allow dogs inside, which I think is appropriate, but with the dog heavy community, it would have been nice to make a larger common outdoor area that you can have your dog in. Also the restrooms are really not big enough to accommodate 10-12 restaurants... two urinals, and one stall, just isn't enough. Plus it smelled like an outdoor bathroom, so I think they need better ventilation. read more

Don't go here unless you're actively looking to get COVID-19. Mask compliance is 50% at best, tons of people hanging around playing ping pong and sitting at tables not even eating without masks on. Tried to grab some food here while visiting the Pasea Hotel for my besties wedding. By 9pm it was closing down and we got turned away. We ended up eating apps at the Bungalow nearby. You have a great concept. Love to enjoy your variety of places. Where you receive low mark is for letting Eric Hale exploit your venue with a poorly organized event to fill his pockets. What could have been an epic event was an epic fail Local Social mislead on price and times for Taste of 579. Long lines with no guidance to get in. Ran out of food before event over. Eric was rude when approached to provide feedback and arrogant about not caring if any feedback was less than fAvorable. Gotta say worst customer service ever!! read more
