After a quick jog along the beach, we were looking for our AM caffeine. I walked into 1 oz and was pleasantly surprised to see a Kyoto dripper (yess!). So, naturally I had to order the kyoto cold brew. It was perfection as-is with no added anything. The 1 oz coffee space looked like a great spot to hang out, but we were on the go!
We walked into at least four other coffee shops before finding 1 Oz Coffee! What piqued my interest the most was the Japanese fusion - Ube latte, Kyoto cold brew, etc. as well as the sourdough waffle. The young man who took her order was wonderful - answered all my questions, provided suggestions, and was so smiley through it all. We loved everything we tried!
Apparently this place has been open for 3 years and I just found out about it. The place offers both indoor and outdoor comfy seating, with a pier view from some of the outdoor spots. The inside had ample space to meet up with friends. Service was quick and courteous. They have a pastry case but I didn't try the pastries this time, they did look good though. I got a mocha which was properly served in a ceramic mug with a design on top. The mocha was delicious from the first sip. WARNING! Parking is all metered around here unless you park in the garage, and you have to pay even on Sunday. I parked in metered parking, and at just 5 minutes over I got a $68.50 ticket ($65+$3.50 processing fee). Literally 5 minutes, as if the meter maid was hiding in a bush in front of my car, jumped out, ticketed and disappeared back into the bush. Well that's this critic's review, until next time, I'll be eating.
We were eating in this area so stopped by for a coffee. It's a cute little coffee shop with unique flavors. I tried the cardoamom rose latte. They make a nice design on the coffee. Service was quick.I did not try any food.
Good latte's. Prices posted are not necessarily what you will be charged. Some are higher and some are lower, it is a little confusing if you are concerned about the price. Good bathroom since, you do not want to use Huntington Beach area public bathrooms. Public bathrooms in the town are comparable to an overpopulated prison or Gulag.
Parking: parking situation in downtown Huntington Beach is a bit tricky. Most options are metered parking, $4/hour. If you get lucky, you may find some residential street parking but it's still a walk to 1 oz coffee. It is a lovely area to walk around. Service: the barista was very kind and very fast. He took my order and made my drink very quickly. Ambiance: the coffee shop is so nicely decorated! I love the pink interior. It's nice and quiet, lots of seating space for chatting or studying. Drink: mango matcha latte (9/10)- it was very delicious, the mango flavor was so fresh and tasted real (not artificial tasting). Loved how creamy the mango flavor was and how well it paired with the matcha. Definitely one of my favorite mango matcha lattes. I will note that you cannot modify the sweetness level of this drink since the mango milk is premade, for anyone who is not fond of sweeter drinks. I would definitely go here more often if it wasn't for the parking situation.
Visiting a friend and wanted to find a local coffee shop with a view of the water. It was so easy because it was in downtown Huntington Beach, there's neighborhood parking, the beach is right in sight, and next to a hotel so when we grabbed our coffee and food, we're able to sit outside in their patio chairs, but after that we were able to walk around towards the beach and then ended up around the neighborhood. The drinks and the food were so delicious! The service was awesome as well. You can sit inside or outside in the ambience is calming. This was probably around 11 AM and around 11:30 to 12, people from the hotel started coming in so there were families and kids. Got a little bit louder, but there's so much opportunity to chill out inside or walk around.
1. The lattes were well made with a nice blend! They will give you appropriate cups depending if you are dining in or taking it to-go! The energy balls are dried fruits, and they were good as well! 2. The spot had fun casual vibes with cute decor! It is located near the beach! 3. There are both indoor and outdoor seatings! There is a limited number of tables! 4. The staff were friendly and timely with my order! It took less than 10 mins! 5. One of the employees just starred at me didn't even bother to say goodmorning or anything. Then while I was waiting for my Flat White one of the workers sat down and then proceeded to have a conversation with someone who walked in talking about Mexicans..... I've visited every 1 Oz location, and the food in Huntington Beach is my favorite! I had the grilled halloumi cheese bowl -- such a well-balanced and delicious meal. The coffee was amazing, as always! The service was so friendly and professional! Everything was brought right to my outdoor table, and it made my morning feel peaceful and relaxed. I couldn't have asked for a better start to the day.
I drove up here for a morning yoga and coffee rave from San Diego and haven't explored Huntington much. I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy this place for the event because it's the type of spot I would naturally vibe with. I saw someone order the savory sourdough waffle prosciutto avocado and it was delish! I also got the ceremonial grade matcha with rose and lavender. Amazing. I love all the pink decor. It's very nice in here. The staff is super sweet too. Thanks for making a great place.
I love this coffee shop. The color and vibe are inviting, the coffee is good, and they have a solid menu with healthy items which i love. The best part: they have a little section of toys to keep my toddler busy. It is so thoughtful and helpful for Moms. Many times my toddler ruins my coffee experience but these toys kept her busy and happy. read more

My daughter and I stopped in for some iced coffee, we decided on the ube lattes with a shot of espresso. They were very good and refreshing. They only had one size, I would have ordered a large if I could have because it was very good. Service was fast and friendly. The inside was spacious and I liked the pink chairs. read more

This is a cute and clean coffee shop located right next to the beach in HB and the coffee here is good. The staff are friendly and it's a great spot to study/work at while being next to the beach. The atmosphere is relaxed and they have cute décor all over. The space overall is bright and there's seating outside if you want to enjoy your drink outside. I got the spicy chai latte and it was delicious. It gave me the boost I needed to get the rest of my day going. Street parking is available in front or you can park in the parking garage next door. read more

When we go to Huntington Beach to walk around, we always grab some coffee in that place! So good and the last time we've tried food - 5 points from 5! Sirniki a little pricey but it worth it! And also if you have a kids they have bunch of fun stuff for them :) so they can make themselves happy and busy and you enjoy your coffee :) read more

1oz Coffee is a hidden gem in Huntington Beach - a few min from the beach, next to Shorebreak hotel. This cozy, family-owned spot has quickly become one of my favorite places. The coffee is absolutely delicious--smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. They also serve some really fun and refreshing mocktails (not sure if they are seasonal) that are perfect for a sunny HB day by the beach The atmosphere is super welcoming, with a laid-back vibe and genuinely friendly people behind the counter. You can tell they put their heart into what they do. Whether you're grabbing a quick coffee or hanging out with friends, 1oz Coffee is always a good idea! read more
First time eating in for breakfast. Loved it. This feels like a quaint but upscale French cafe! Small and yummy. I selected the honey lavender latte, a blueberry muffin, and a dish called "very berry". All were incredible. The muffin was really good, uniquely spongy and good. Not too big, perfect. The very very bowl! Omg. It had a wonderful granola, mixed berries, chilled yogurt, and chia. Probably even more little goodies. It was so good. The place is quiet, service very personal. Quaint little shop in a quiet stretch worth a visit when you want a moment of peace from the hustle and bustle of the main street. My wife and I shared an iced latte flight, great variety of flavors for four drinks! We were given in particular a classic latte, the seasonal apple crisp latte, matcha latte and a non-cafinated ube latte, all were delicious and complemented one another well! Cute and cozy atmosphere with plenty of seating and some board games too. Didn't try any of the food options but they sure looked appetizing read more
New month! New coffee shop discovery! 1 oz Coffee shop is a fairly new coffee shop in Huntington Beach. The original locations are in the San Francisco Bay Area but now they are in Surf City! They opened up in Huntington Beach about 8 months ago and it such a cute coffee shop! Walking in; I knew this was my kinda spot. I absolutely adored that it had pink walls and pink chairs. It even has a little light up sign that says "Good vibes only." Aside from good and (cute vibes); this spot has yummy pastries like pistachio and strawberry croissants and different lattes like matcha lattes, vanilla bean lattes and ube lattes! I was definitely sold on this spot when I saw ube! I was even more excited I saw they have latte flights! Wow! I have never seen a coffee shop that offers flights! Their latte flights consist of ube, matcha, regular and cinnamon honey lattes. For a latte lover like me; this is pure heaven. They also have another flight option consisting of a cold brew, batch brew, single espresso and single macchiato. I didn't get the flight when I visited here but it is definitely some thing I want to try. For my first visit here; I chose to just get their ube latte. The ube latte was great! It had the perfect ube flavor and even had a little hint of coconut. They don't use any artificial syrups or sweeteners and so the sweetness is based off the natural sweetness of milk. My only wish is that they serve it a little hotter as it was a little cold. I definitely enjoyed my visit here and I hope to be back one day to try that latte flight! (Ahh still can't get over that this place has latte flights! That is such a great option to have!) read more

Nice, quaint spot along PCH just past the main drag. Offerings various coffees hot and cold. In addition, they have pastries and small plates for your enjoyment. Customer service was great and the coffee was delicious, but my cappuccino was Luke warm at best, and fell short of my expectations on a brisk morning by the shore. The first sip failed to produce that warm feeling you desire from a cup of Java in the early morning. read more

Service was helpful and very understanding. Got two drinks a ube matcha latte and an iced matcha latte. The ube was not ube enough so we did ask for additional ube flavoring so that we could add it to the drink. Shortly after we got the iced matcha latte and I felt the same way. It was matcha enough and just milk. But I did not want to bother and ask for more flavoring. The place is adorable. And had a cute mural on the wall. read more
