    Crab cake Benedict
    Minh V.

I came here with a group of six of my friend and we had to wait 45 minutes on a Sunday to be seated. Our waitress was super nice and took our order but after that we didn't see her for 10-15 minutes when she brought us our ice waters. We got our food shortly after that. But the server forgot our friend's cinnamon roll and so we had to remind her. I shared the crab cake Benedict with my hubs and it was really good. But expensive for what it was. I tried my friend cinnamon roll and that was amazing! I'd just come back for that. After our server dropped off our check, it took her awhile to come back so we just took the check to the front and they were able to ring us up and divided the check for us. Overall this outdoor restaurant is a super cute spot if you want to take your puppies with you to brunch. Make sure to bring a light jacket, sometimes it can get cold out there.

Perfect outdoor ambience at the west end of Central Park! Take the dog if you like , your server will lead you to a table on the grass with plenty of space around it. The menu seems to have improved with more updated items and from there you can stroll leisurely to the beautiful park. If you're ready for a bit more of a walk, the beautiful library located here in the park.

I love this dog friendly breakie spot!! This restaurant is located at the park and not only has a dog friendly areas to dine at, there's also a dog menu!! I love taking my dog here on weekends to enjoy breakfast together. The staff is super friendly and welcoming and the food is delish! This place has one of the best breakfast burritos I've had as well. Be wary as the wait can be long on weekend mornings and parking can be hard to find. I appreciate the little leash attached to the metal rods that help keep our dog from running along with their dog water station. We need more dog friendly restaurants like this spot!

Banana pancakes, sausages and eggs over medium. Really liked the pancakes!

I came here with my brother and nephew for the first time since we wanted to take my nephew to the park. Good service, polite, pretty attentive. Coffee was ok, pancakes really good (I got banana) and I like the crust on the outside with fluffy Interior. Probably one of the best pancakes I've had. Got sausages and 2 over easy eggs with my pancakes. Both were pretty good, very standard. Pancakes were a huge portion, I couldn't finish my food, packed to take home. My brother got the morning Cristo.... Which is a deep fried sandwich. I wouldn't recommend this unless you like and your stomach can handle deep fried food because it's very oily. Coffee wasn't terrible but not great ...but I'm a coffee snob. The grass where they set up the dining area is full of what I am assuming is geese poop ... so beware and don't step in it. Tables were dusty, i don't know... it didn't seem like the cleanest environment to eat at. Maybe I would come back but only for their pancakes.

It was a really nice day out so it was cool to find this place. The plus side is that you can bring your pups! Everyone seemed very friendly so definitely a nice ambiance. Since it is outside, it is technically big. The food was also not bad from what I got. I would love to enjoy the outside again here and try some other food items.

For anyone who has been here you know parking is limited so i ended up parking on the other side of the park but I really enjoyed going for a nice walk through the park and when I got to the host they were very busy but they let me known they do have a to-go window so I ordered a delicious strawberry smoothie that tasted so fresh and real and I went on with my walk. Great spot I would highly recommend coming and if you can't find parking like me park on the other side and enjoy this beautiful park before getting to the cafe. Bring your fur babies it's a Very pet friendly cafe and park.

My puppies love going to Park Bench Cafe. The cafe is located in a park on goldenwest street in Huntington Beach. There are plenty of tables, open spaces and good menu. I usually order the hotdog bites, l ground beef or chicken for my dogs. Decent prices $5-6 a portion. They also have water bowls for the dogs and leashes under each table. Fast & friendly service. It can get crowded during lunch & parkings are limited but you can also park along the street. The park is very clean & you can walk your dogs around while waiting for a table. They have good menu for breakfast and lunch. I love their eggs Benedict, build your own omelette, and Strawberry smoothie. My favorite cafe! Highly recommend for a nice pet friendly spot.

I met friends here for lunch and it is a neat place. All the seating is outside at the park benches and there were plenty of fur babies hanging out for everyone to admire since it was all outdoor seating. The menu is Americana and my friends grabbed a couple of sandwiches and I tried the tofu scramble burrito. We all thought it was good food, but it was really the atmosphere that we enjoyed more. The day was beautiful and it's just great eating outside. Casual. Good service. There is a parking lot that does get full. Please come and create your own adventure.

Great place for brunch/lunch! Came for a late morning stroll away the park and put our names down and by the time we did a ful round in the park our table was ready. Food is fresh and tasty. Sweet potato fries and French fries are crispy and delicious. We even ordered a doggy scrambled egg that our dog enjoyed and they also have dog bowls to pour your dog some water. For a lovely meal outside overlooking Central Park with or without your dog it's a nice place to relax and enjoy your food!

4 stars because I like sitting outside but my boyfriend doesn't. Food is solid (I like the breakfast burrito and cinnamon role pancakes) plus they offer flavored creamers for the coffee. Servers are friendly. Note that there are lots of dogs, which sometimes means there is lots of barking

Outdoor cafe- small free parking lot- pet friendly- canine menu; bowls and water available to help yourself- city restrooms located nearby- they are clean and well maintained but lack soap for hand washing so you might want to have your hand sanitizer handy. Service was friendly and quick- food was tasty. Cafe located on park grounds which has walking path, lake, large grassy spaces. Really lovely location and welcoming to dogs- stopped for breakfast before heading to nearby Huntington Dog Beach.

You can't beat the ambiance of eating a wonderful meal surrounded by eucalyptus trees, a beautiful pathway, perfect weather, great company and of course a few squirrels . The service was prompt and attentive. My husband had the Morning Cristo. Absolutely delicious- the bread to meat ratio is definitely off, but it has great flavor! I heat it basically with poached eggs, bacon and toast. Can't go wrong with that! We will get back. Again and again!

Love the idea of enjoying a nice morning breakfast with a park view, but the food really disappoints. The service was good not overly friendly but smiling which is cool with me. The plates are a bit over priced for what is actually served. I ordered the traditional sausage and eggs with biscuits and gravy. For $18 I only got 2 eggs 3 small sausages and one biscuit cut in half (imagine the bottom portion of a bagel) I left hungry, definitely not worth the money. I also ordered an ice chai latte which tasted like milk and syrup. The other party with me ordered a lumbarjack with French toast and it was $25.. came with frozen blueberries on the French toast so it was wet and soggy mixed of warm and cold. Just not living up to the reviews.

We did the indoor seating but were sat where we could see the beach and sunset. We ordered: Spicy tuna crispy rice (4/5): super yummy and added extra thai chilis for a kick. Some parts of the rice were more hard than crispy. Black mussels (4/5): pretty good, mom loved them. The bread it came with soaked up the sauce wonderfully. Garlic fries (5/5): so flavorful and crispy and garlicky- dipped them in the mussel sauce and it was amazing. Shrimp and lobster linguine (4/5): could use more salt but overall really good! They're pretty generous with the shrimp and lobster (maybe like 5 large shrimp and 3 claws iirc). Pistachio crusted halibut (4.5/5): mom said this was her favorite because of the flavor, flakiness of the fish, and abundance of vegetables. Pro tip for spice lovers: they provide sides of chopped thai chilis if you ask! We went through 3 different bowls of chilis

Had such a great dining experience at Lōrea inside Pasea Hotel & Spa!…read moreLet me start by saying the food was SO delicious overall. Now, for full honesty, the starters weren't the star of the show for me. We ordered the pork belly wraps and spicy pork gyoza. Both were cooked well, but in my opinion, they were missing that extra "something" maybe a dipping sauce or a bit more flavor to really elevate them. Next time, I'd probably skip those and try different appetizers. The service was great from start to finish attentive, friendly, and everything came out smoothly. The restaurant itself is super cute, and I loved both the indoor and outdoor seating options. We sat outside under the heaters, which made for such a cozy, perfect vibe. BUT the mains and sides? That's where they absolutely delivered. I had the Korean BBQ salmon and WOW flavor on flavor on flavor. Easily one of my favorites of the night. For the table, we shared lobster mac and cheese, asparagus, and whipped potatoes, and let me tell you... those sides were everything. The portions are generous (perfect for sharing with 4-6 people), the mac and cheese was rich and creamy, the asparagus was cooked perfectly, and the whipped potatoes? Smooth, fluffy, and packed with flavor, definitely a standout. We were originally hoping for the tomahawk steak, but they had run out (sad moment ). However, they made it right by offering a prime New York steak for two and honestly, no regrets because that steak was FIRE. Super flavorful, juicy, and absolutely mouthwatering. We also tried the Wagyu and sea bass, which were both delicious, but the real highlights for me were the steak and salmon. Drinks were also on point! We had an Old Fashioned, Moscow Mule, and a few lemon drops including blackberry, passionfruit, and watermelon. The blackberry lemon drop was hands down my favorite, so good! To top it all off, they brought out the cutest birthday macaroons! One tasted like Fruity Pebbles (so fun!) and the other was paired with whipped cream and raspberries such a sweet touch. Overall, while the appetizers didn't quite hit for me, the mains and sides absolutely carried the experience and are 100% the reason I'll be back. I'll definitely be returning for more steak and that Korean BBQ salmon!

I spent over a week researching and trying to find a special place to have a birthday lunch. Based…read moreon the menu, I picked this restaurant. It was very underwhelming, unfortunately. I called ahead of time and made a reservation and they knew it was for a special birthday. We did get a seat right against the glass overlooking the beach, which was very pretty and the restaurant is very pretty. But I guess it wouldn't have been that hard to get a table against the glass because there was only maybe three or four other table tables sat in the whole restaurant anyways. Our waitress came up to us and seemed nice and asked us if we wanted a drink but we literally hadn't even looked at the menu yet so I said I just need a minute to look and then she proceeded to not come back for about 15 to 20 minutes to take our drink order, which was disappointing. We waited so long before she came back that we went ahead and ordered the food and drinks at the same time because I didn't know when she would come back again. It took a long time to get the drinks. The drinks came about the same time that the food came. They only had a few specialty cocktail items available on the menu. I picked one. I did not like it, but that's not their fault. The food unfortunately was really bad. It all sounded really good, but I did not like it. The only thing that I liked was the salmon appetizer smoked salmon on a flatbread bread. The avocado toast had horrible bread, and the avocado on top tasted like spoiled avocado. And the fig and Barada, unfortunately was on the same bread that was absolutely horrible bread, and had no flavor on top. The rosemary french fries were good. I think the worst part of it though was the fact that the waitress that was waiting on us pretty much never showed up again. She wasn't even the one that brought us our food. And I had to wait probably 20 minutes for her to come back around when we were done eating and by that time I had just sent my card at the end of the table because I didn't want to wait for the check and then have to wait another 20 minutes for her to come back with that. It was odd to me because she couldn't have been that busy when she only had. What like two tables? Like what was she doing back there lol anyways it was not the best.
