The concept is great,…read moreand with a few changes I honestly could have seen this becoming a regular date-night activity for me. My biggest concern was the sushi-making setup. I really did not like having one shared bowl of rice for an entire table of strangers, with everyone wetting their hands and repeatedly reaching into the same bowl. Watching multiple people's wet hands go in and out of the same rice completely made me lose my appetite. Even with handwashing, people may have long nails, cuts, broken skin, or other things that make shared hand-contact with food uncomfortable. I think each person or party should have their own bowl of rice, and gloves should at least be available for anyone who prefers them. I also did not like that the chef walked around and repeatedly touched different people's food with her bare, wet hands without asking first. I understand that she was trying to help demonstrate the technique, but not everyone is comfortable with someone touching their food, especially after moving from station to station. It would have been much better to ask before touching someone's food. I also did not love being required to leave the cooking area and walk around the store during the class. I understand the marketing idea behind it, but I would have preferred to stay, enjoy the experience, and finish my food. For the price, I also expected better beverage accommodations. I was not offered water, wine, or really any drink option. Even water and perhaps a complimentary glass of wine would have been a nice touch. Lastly, the portions could have been a little more generous. At one point there was not even enough rice for everyone. The experience itself was fun and the idea is excellent. I just think some small improvements, especially around sanitation, individual ingredients, portions, beverages, and asking before touching guests' food, would make a huge difference. I would probably try another cooking class concept elsewhere that offers a setup better suited for people who are more particular about shared food preparation.

She was knowledgeable, personable, and shared plenty of helpful cooking tips and techniques throughout the class. We even got recipes to take home and recreate the dishes ourselves. The class was around $100 per person and was well worth it. Whether you're planning a date night, girls' night, or a fun outing with the kids, I highly recommend checking out their cooking classes. They offer a wide variety of options on their class calendar, so there's something for everyone.

Boca over-priced outlet furniture…read more.. I found most of the prices for furniture to be too high, even though the quality was good on most pieces. Some pieces were on "clearance" and these prices were reasonable but you had to really "walk the store" to find the best deals. Place offers all types of furniture, living, dining, bedroom, patio, mirrors, knickknacks, everything you could need for your home furniture. Worth a day trip to Mizner Park in Boca, Employees were readily available but gave you freedom to walk around. They have a delivery company available but pricing is based on your home location and the items you need moving Everything is FINAL, no refunds or returns

It's a big store. It used to be the old Lord & Taylor. Two floor and the day I was there the second floor air conditioning was out so definitely cut my visit very short considering it was already 90 degrees outside. I'm not sure what I was expecting. With the pricing, and with what I've read, I expected it to be on the lines of a Roche Bobois... not even close. I know this is an outlet store but if this is what they sell... it's not for me. It had a really poor selection of damaged items that are still way over priced. I was honestly expecting to see much better prices on pieces especially ones with obvious flaws and I was surprised to see brands that come from China. I know RH has membership pricing and a strong following. IMO...there are so many better options and you can probably find brand new and factory fresh for the same price or even less than the used pieces they have. Personally I will go elsewhere. - [ ]
