I have to say that of corse the store have a beautiful things to spend money, but it's been a long time that I wanna say the cashiers are awful. I don't know it's because it's older people but they make you feel very bad when you're going to make a return basically it's like a they treat you like like a thief and I don't like that because I spent a lot of money in this store between TJ Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods I have the credit card of them too! The Boca Raton location has absolutely the worst customer service I have experienced at any store ever! I bought several things at a very nice Homegoods on the west coast of FL. Didn't realize until I got home that one item was damaged and the other didn't look right in my home. The manager and the cashier insisted that they never ever have a problem with the containers I bought. The latch on the lid literally snapped right off as soon as I washed it. The cashier Savina kept telling me she has many herself and they are fine! Then they told me I had used the soap dispenser which was not true. I was returning less than 48 hours after I bought it. Looked to me when they opened it that maybe there was too much glue used on the inside when it was manufactured. The attitude of the manager and cashier were literally unbelievable to me. I was also informed by Savina that it is my responsibility to exam every item before I buy it because they don't know how it comes in from the factory! I recommend avoiding this store at all costs and finding another! read more

Homegoods is like an upscale Ross to me. The quality is a little more luxury, gourmet and selective. Pay discounted rates for name brand items including gourmet foods, housewares and furniture. I love to just walk around here and daydream about what my house will look like. The coffee game here is strong here. If you like trying different coffees, then I would recommend checking out HomeGoods. As for furniture, it seems to be hit or miss. I know good quality furniture when I see it or feel it and sometimes the price on furniture pieces doesn't match the quality of the item. I saw that here a few times where a furniture piece was on "clearance" for a pretty high price due to a chip or corner broken off but the quality wasn't that great to begin with. Gorgeous pieces but sometimes looks aren't everything. There are restrooms at the back of the store that needed some serious cleaning. This store size seemed to be smaller than others I've seen. All around I'm a fan of HomeGoods but I've seen better locations. read more

Ok. I just had to write this review..... my Santi would actually write the bad review while we waited for the food.. Lolol..... I waited till I left the store to write the review. I gave it a 4 star because it's actually the BEST Home Goods store I've been to. The 2nd best is the one in Pompano Beach. The lady who worked here was so frustrated with people not putting stuff back that while we were all shopping she kept grunting and slamming objects saying out loud so we "the customers" could hear her saying "these damn people don't put crap back!" Uhm.... Lady find another job. It was an older Spanish lady with brown hair and glasses. The manager should keep her in the back warehouse. But besides her horrible attitude towards us "the customers" it's actually my favorite Home Goods to go to. I just sold my place in Lake Worth and I'm in the process of buying a new place so decorating is a PLUS for me and where else to get ideas and great pieces to bring a room together than this spot. I'm super excited to now be near both of my favorite Home Goods, this one and the one in Pompano Beach. Wear your mask because both stores get super pack. I am not a shopper but I have so much fun in this store. I never know what I will find, but I always find something. They have a good selection of dog beds & accessories for your fur babies & good quality too. I love looking in this section of the store. So many name brand items at discounted prices. This store is big so give yourself plenty of time to walk around. Check out the specialty coffees and gourmet foods. You will find some great finds especially on coffee and I am confident you'll find a sweet treat to go with it. Nice selection of bath towels and accessories, linens, and plenty of miscellaneous items for your home. Candles, picture frames, wine glasses, serving dishes and so much more. The store is clean and nicely organized, AND the employees are helpful. The store managment team should be very proud that they are lucky enough to have such wonderful employees, not an easy thing here in Florida. The plaza is expanding so there is construction going on in the parking lot. All of the stores are open during the expansion and parking is not difficult. Pretty easy actually. Well let me start off with how rude the customer service was. I came back the day after I bought 3 candle stick holders, they just didnt work in my home. I stood in line for about 20 minutes, and when I got to the counter the girl was so rude, with an attitude she said "take them out of the bag", so I did and stood one of them up, it was rather large, I gave her my receipt. She went to scan the bar code (which there was none on the item) asked how did the cashier scan these. Umm ....I didnt asked the cashier how she did her job I just paid. After another 15 minutes she returned. Not leaving her attitude where ever she went she said " where is ur card" not sure which card I used, I turned the receipt around so I could see, well Missy snatched it out of my hand. Lordy mercy It took all my self respect not to jump over that counter! Thanks to my friend keeping me under control! Finally I received my credit. I will NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN. I love this store! specifically this location, I visited it today and boy I'm glad I did. This has to be the treasure find of all HomeGoods stores. I went aisle by aisle and kept adding items to my shopping cart. Now I visit HomeGoods stores all the time, especially the ones near my house. However, this store seemed to have a steady stream of customers and above average item volume per section. I love candles, and they have a large selection of Yankee Candles and DW Candles from you to choose from. My favorite is Warm Tobacco Pike, smooth pike smell with vanilla aroma, and they had plenty of these in above average sizes (90 hours of burn time) for 14.99!!!! that's a $40 candle in department stores. Penalty of decor items such for you to choose from, I found a very nice decor lantern and items for my gallery wall for very low prices. I also picked up some new coffee & tea mugs for 3.99. They also have a large selection of dry foods, like sauces, pasta and kitchen items, especially Kitchen Aid brand which you can't go wrong with. I also picked up some toys for my beagle buddy along with a deer antler which he loves. It's too bad this location is a bit far from me and I was in the area because the mountain biking park I went too was near by, but i'm thankful I did because I got some nice finds for a little over 100 bucks which would have run me about $350 elsewhere. read more

Homegoods is a real solid place to shop when you are looking for house hold things. I like to go here when I need to buy replacement for cooking pots and pans. They have good brands that last a few years. It's a prefect place to redo your kitchen utensils, cooking ware, and serving ware. They also have array of lamps/lights, rugs, house hold appliances, random gift options etc. They have quality merchandise. Located in the heart of Boca Raton, this location gets very busy in the weekends. It becomes pretty disorganized with people throwing things around. Plus, I don't know why people try to open good packaging before purchasing items and then leaving them. The employees are constantly fixing things as well as putting new merchandise on the sales floor. If I were you, I would try to come here on weekdays. ~ read more

I've been to this store a few times. The last time I wanted to buy good sheets and pillowcases without paying a fortune. I found what I was looking for. When you need products for the home this is a great place to go to. They have a large amount of housewares from the kitchen to the porch. I saw products for every room. There's some pieces of discounted furniture. I wasn't that impressed with the furniture. It was rather mediocre and I didn't see any bargains. They have several cashiers so even if there's a line it moves quickly. read more

I will never complain about the Homegoods location in Delray again. This was insanity! There was absolutely no organization; things were strewn all over the place and dangerously close to the aisles. People kept bumping into fragile items. I was looking for a boxwood wreath or similar. I found a few nice ones for $50 which I found expensive, especially at Homegoods, where the price are supposed to be reduced. I found one that was banged up for $20. I took it and went to wait on line. It was about 30 people long! And slow, so slow. I then went to the one in Delray, and not only was it organized and clean, but they had beautiful wreaths for half the price. I waited on a quick line and exchanged it. read more

On March 6 2020 I purchased 3 items from Homegoods. The total purchase was $106 and In late march I tried to return 1 of those items (a $39 item) only to discOver Homegoods closed ALL OF their stores due to covid In Late May 2020 I discovered that Home goods reopened their stores and on June 2 I attempted to return that $39 item to the Boca Raton store. Unfortunately they would not accept the item back because I did not have the March 2020 receipt. I actually did have the receipt but after almost 3 months the print was not recognizeable so it didnt make sense to even try. I, did however, explain to Alvin (He is one of the managers at the store) that I used a Credit card and that I could get the statement as proof of purchase. But Alvin would not listen. I even stated to Alvin that I would have no choice but to contact my bank on the transaction. Still, Alvin would not listen. Later that evening I contacted my Bank (while explaining my futile attempt at contacting the merchant to return the item) to dispute the $39 on the April 2020 statement. I simply explained to my bank that Homegoods closed their stores in march due to Covid and upon reopening, I made an attempt at returning the item but the store manager would not issue a credit since did not have the receipt even if i had the CC statement. Why a store like Homegoods is giving their customers grief on returns from Credit Card purchases that were made right before they closed their stores due to COVID does not make good business sense. It becomes a poor decision when the purchase involves a credit card transaction due to customer credit card rights. For the efforts that I had to put forth in going down to the Boca Raton Homegoods store, waiting in line for 15 minutes only to be given a hard time on a credit card transaction at the height of COVID outbreak, I will never shop there again and as of June 2, 2020, I am not allowing my wife to shop their either, atleast not with our Credit cards! read more

There is no doubt that at ANY Home Goods, chances are I am going to walk out with SOMETHING. I either go in there looking for something specific, or I go there to just see what they have in stock at the time. I do not have a lot of patience for shopping,, but Home Goods is different because on any given day, I know I am going to find something "cool" or appropriate for the house, whether it be for the kitchen, bedroom, or especially my Bar. It is like "mining for Gold!!!" My mission today? Find a Coffee Steeper, A Nice Tea Pot to Boil the Water, and my new discovery: Blue Mountain Jamaican Coffee. Of course Home Goods has a lot of containers and jars for the kitchen, so I needed to have one to put the coffee in. Simple? For Home Goods? Yes. I can't count the number of times I have been to Home Goods near me in Ft. Lauderdale and never reviewed it, but THIS Home Goods is different and I said to my wife that this store is worth bringing attention to. Why this store specifically? THE SIZE AND INVENTORY: When I walked into this store, my first thought was, "this is going to be fun". It seems to be a much bigger store and the shelves were stocked and full. A couple of the Home Goods stores were not that ways. Too much inconsistency, and a lot of empty shelf spaces, just not that appealing. NEATNESS AND ORGANIZED: I was really surprised that this store actually did not have the clutter in the isles that most of the ones I've been into had, room to walk with a cart without bumping into the stuff that stuck out into the isles. The BIGGEST aspect of this store that I really loved was, for once, a Home Goods that had the merchandize organized into where one would think to look. So many of the stores split up the same type items in different isles. And the shelves were FULL. When I went by the area to look for the jars, there was a whole section of different jars, totally full. The Towels and Pillow area looked like Bed Bath and Beyond with full shelves. It was like that everywhere. The store was marked by sections that were easily seen, like "Gourmet Cookware", "Specialty Foods", "Furniture", etc. If you are going to Home Goods to find something specific, this store really made it easy to zero in on where to go. And everything I thought would be there, was. Surprisingly, Home Goods carries FOOD, and the greatest section of Gourmet Foods I have been to in any of the stores. When I got to he coffee section, I was hoping to find what I wanted because it is rare to find the exact blend of specialty coffees there, but they had a huge assortment and "BINGO" found my Blue Mountain Jamaican. What I saw on that shelf of dozens of bagged coffee items, is going to bring me back to get the Kona Hawaiian and others I saw. Great colorful merchandising!!! And I turn around saw full shelves of gourmet jellies, honey, and syrups. Amazing and filled to the brim. Found my Coffee Steeper, which I love, a really nice tea pot and the jar I picked out had a great top to seal in the coffee and a little black , small area on the jar where you can put what the contents are by using chalk. Never knew they even made these. I was so happy. So now it was time to shop Home Goods for things I never came in for. That is always the best part of shopping at Home Goods. You never know what they have that day. We found some copper toothbrush holders and some other bathroom items. Home Goods has a great selection of colorful pots for planting outside, pictures, mirrors and this store had a larger than normal Furniture section. I love to see what types of small pieces they have that "creates a need" to buy. The Clearance signs are everywhere is different sections where you can find even GREATER PRICES on items you may never find. 40 to 60 percent off!!! The prices will definitely surprise you. Name brand items with prices that are reduced so much cheaper than the conventional department stores. Checking out is easy. The lines may look long, but they take the next person in line by calling out one of 6 registers and it keeps moving. Of course while you are waiting in line, there is merchandise all around you and you just may pick up something else. You shop to the end, and it is Fun. Love this store and will go out of my way to come here over the others. read more

Disgusting customer service!!! My spouse and I were at the store to purchase several lamps for our home: two table lamps and one floor lamp. We found the floor lamp in the furniture section and brought it to the lighting section to ensure it worked. As we were attempting to put a light bulb in an employee, Nancy, started yelling at us from two isles over. She came over and accused us of trying to swap out shades. We told her we were not and tried to explain what we were doing and she continued to berate us and making accusations. More insulting than being berated and chastised like a child, it to be subjected to her poor behavior in front of no less than 10 other customers. We asked for her manager and for her to step away and she refused. Nancy claimed that she was the store manager. We questioned her again and asked specifically if she was the store manager and she again said she was. She then changed her answer again and admitted she was not after we continued to press the issue. When the manager did come over she said that she didn't believe Nancy would do such a thing and continued to say that she gets complaints like this about other employees but not Nancy. Needless to say, the manger, Julie or Julia, not sure of her name , she wasn't wearing a name badge, did not at all take the complaint seriously. There are many other locations that deserve our business, and they will get it before we ever go back to this location. However, someone should remind Nancy and her manager that it's customers like us who visit the chain often that provide the revenue that allows for their paychecks Completely disgusting and reprehensible behavior. This location should be ashamed of themselves for employing such repugnant individuals. read more

I love this store, and if you like kitchen, home things, you will too. Beautiful vases, glasses, plates, and so much more. Anything to decorate any space in your house you can find here. Even food! Cake mixes, cookies, different cooking oils, and drink mixers, great for gifts. Everything is organized by category, tableware, food, cooking utensils, decorating, bedding, etc. It can get a bit crammed, especially during the Holidays, but is well worth it once you find what you needed (even if you didn't know you needed it) at amazing prices. read more

Ok, as far as home decor stores go, HG is fine...mostly cheaply made and incredibly ugly stuff, but you can find some cute things (or even quasi 1st-world necessities like linens) on the cheap, and once in a while they get a piece that is actually unique and much less expensive than in its original release at P1I or dept. stores... also, they take the TJMaxx card and are fairly liberal with returns. Fun to see HG wares in background interior sets in every domestic shot on TV and in movies... we are all such sheep! I am also guilty... about 1/3 of our decor is from HG! read more

During this time of prices of almost everything going through the roof, most of us work really hard for every nickel. It's disappointing when you spend $180 on presents for your mom and only have to return $30 but it's 3 days past their 30 day return policy and the manager wouldn't make an exception. Besides the nasty attitude, circled the 30 day policy on my receipt as if I couldn't read when I clearly told her I knew it was 3 days over at the start. At some point I'll go back to use the card because I have no choice but it will be for the last time. There are PLENTY of other stores that are more considerate during these times. read more

I used to shop at this Home Goods in Boca before I moved to Delray and now I shop there. I was in West Boca and decided to stop in. It has really gone downhill! It was not as well organized as it once was. The customers were very rude but, that may be because the people who work there have a bad attitude. I had to stand in line for 20 minutes and was then ignored during my transaction, while the cashier talked to her coworker about her hours. Will shop at the Delray location from now on. read more

Incredible selection, clean store and very big. The trifecta of things I could ever want from a HomeGoods store. It's in a strip mall (shocker) on the corner of Boca Rio and Glades. I came here with my grandmother to find new lamps, while she loved the selection, she couldn't commit. We found a whisk and teapot instead. read more

This store would get five stars for their amazing selection of merchandise, even if the tradeoff is that it's so tightly packed that you can barely move your cart through it. But I hate patronizing a store that has so little regard for their customers that they won't hire the staff they need to keep the checkout lines reasonable. This is a problem I've noticed throughout the TJ MAXX chain, but it's especially bad at this store. Expect to stand in line for a long time if you want to shop here. read more

Ridiculous customer service. Visited the store yesterday and there was so much inventory/junk in the aisles it was impossible to navigate the store. In addition there were 25 customers in line and three registers opened! I don't understand why the management of this office would not have pulled staff to open additional registers. This home goods is a dump! Frankly I am shocked that it's located in Boca and survives. The store is a mess, the selection is horrible (there were a total of 22 lamps on display in 5 aisles, terrible selection of throw pillows and accessories. There are employees with giant carts restocking goods, asking customers to move etc etc - I think new management is in order here. NOT home goods happy after shopping this store! read more

This is the worst homegoods I have ever been to. They over crowd the isles with huge furniture that doesn't fit in their small space and most of it is damaged because of it. Worse is they never have sufficient staff. The checkout line is always backed up into the aisles. In fact, as I write this, I'm waiting on the checkout line and while there are 9 stations, there are only 4 cashiers. The line is twice as long as the checkout aisle itself which is at least 30 feet itself. It is ashame because this location is the most convenient to me, but I often drive further to the Delray or Coconut Creek locations as those stores are neater, the items are undamaged, and the checkout is a pleasure. Plus I never wait more than a minute at those stores, so there is no excuse for the bad management at this Boca location. read more
