Worst company we made a BIG mistake and got furniture at the Boca location our " designer" made money of us and then she said she has to quit her job there so all the promises of set up everything when it's delivered.... Yea right and then gave us this other "quality designer" called Helene the worst person I met in my life not helpful at all never smile and just a mean person and all that because we already paid most of the furniture so she knew she won't make any money of us .. anyway the worst part is the furniture is really low quality one pillow that we over paid $200 for fell apart I went to the store and I had to talk to 3 different managers to tell me it's not there fault and I have to pay to fix it I said because I only have 72 hours to report if something is wrong with it ... what a joke of a place of course I left and now I would to let everyone know stay away from this store it might look nice but completely wast of your hard working money !!! read more

Robb & Stucky has a beautiful showroom. The furniture is displayed on two floors. They have a team of designers who are happy to help you. On the second floor there's a library with books, fabrics, and other materials. The staff is very consumer oriented. About once a month they have an event, often featuring a famous designer. It's a great learning opportunity if you're interested in design or decorating. Sometimes the programs are in the evening, sometimes in the morning. There's plenty of time to check out the furniture and mix and mingle over food and drinks. Their furniture is beautiful. I'm in love with their wall hangings. The furniture is mostly modern and upscale. I have a beautiful little table from there. It's even signed by the designer. I've never been pressured to purchase anything when I'm there. Robb & Stucky is a beautiful furniture store. I went there to look at what turned out to be dramatically beautiful pieces of fine furniture and accessories for the home. I was very impressed with the very nice and helpful staff at Robb & Stucky. They were having a reception featuring a talk by the designer, Larry Laslo. He gave a very enjoyable speech and answered questions about his views on designing and decorating. Then Robb & Stucky had a drawing to give away a Topsy-Turvy Table designed by Mister Laslo. To my surprise, I won the table!!! Mr. Laslo autographed it for me and they took my picture with him. It's a beautiful table and I consider myself very lucky to have met Larry Laslo and to go away with a beautiful signed designer piece! Even though there are very well intentioned people who work sales here, Robb & Stucky's penny-pinching bean-counters in upper management can ruin your desire to ever work with them again. I bought a sleeper sofa. Custom order. I told the saleswoman that I needed it as fast as I could get it. I was told early October. It came in. I was told that I would have delivery on Thursday. I needed that, because I run a commercial B&B. The sleeper sofa was for a guest, coming to stay on Friday. I made this very clear to all, and thanked them for meeting my deadline, as cancelling would mean three lost rooms for four days. I called them to give them a credit card for the balance. They don't take American Express, the only major furniture chain in South Florida that doesn't. Problem? The other guys don't extend temporary credit line increases, based on past ability to pay. They ran our VISA card. It was declined, on Thursday, because the bill wasn't scheduled for payoff until the next week, and we didn't have enough "ceiling" to approve the transaction. So I told the business office woman that I would pay off the card on Friday, and that it would take a business day to clear, so I would call back on Monday to settle up. Remember, that they've already taken half of my money upfront after that same card. Any other furniture store would pick it up on day of delivery when the furniture people come to drop it off. Robb and Stucky? Oh no. I called Monday. No one answered. I left a voicemail. No one called me back. Tuesday, the mildly scolding business gal calls me to get my card number. I told her that I left a message, the day prior, and got an "Oh?" Then I got the bad news: "Because you didn't pay the balance, we can't deliver until next Tuesday." They gave away my spot. No contact. No courtesy of a return call to my message, on a very very busy day for me. When I called back, I got a "there's nothing that we can do. Our hands are tied." I said no. In the past, they've been able to work out things. I don't have a five bedroom house to furnish, but I am a business person. When their poor communication keeps a bed out of my place, I lose patience, and money. I spoke to the manager. He was apologetic, but their corporate controls shipping, and gives him no power to affect change. I can appreciate that. I feel bad for him. No one wants to feel powerless to deal with a situation that went south due to bad policy, and bad communication. Contrast this to competitor Baer's, where I got the furniture 24 hours after I ordered it, Or RH which delivered items that we needed urgently and were able to accommodate moving us up. Oh, and they both take Amex. Poor communication. Rigid rules. Bad calls on making the customer, whom, last I heard, is ALWAYS RIGHT, and you can have Robb & Stucky. NO, really. You can have them. I will never step foot inside their stores for any other transactions. They messed up. They cost me money. I'm so done with that. Especially at their lofty prices. read more

We purchased a sofa at your Robb & Stucky Sarasota Store. We received the sofa, manufactured by Century, we received the sofa after two weeks. Months later I noticed that the cushions were emitting off gases. I complained early this year. After conducting an inquiry I learned that the sofa we were given had been a floor model at their Coral Gables store for approximately a year and a half. When that store closed the sofa was sent to their warehouse. I learned that the sofa was given the LUX cleaning before it being delivered to our house. I took the cushions to the Sarasota store requesting they be examined. I was told by the sales person that there was nothing wrong with the cushions. I wrote to the management in Ft. Meyers expressing our concerns that we had purchased a new sofa but were given a floor model a classical bait and switch. I spent a considerable amount at Robb and Stucky when I began furnishing my newly purchased Sarasota home . Didn't have good luck with the random match up of a designer . You just get the next person in the line up. My person was awful . Pushed me to order everything before I had really thought it over . Sofa's , waited 18 months - told never coming . Forced me to keep very expensive rug that went with the never coming sofas, ask for supervisor , told they will have to figure out a different way. Manager called promised one promotion for floor model , designer called back said - no way . You can buy the lines they carry at many places brick and mortar or see directly on line . Bad negative attitude all around . Should be fun to buy furnishings instead dishonest and shady dealings . Give your business to a firm that does the right thing . read more

I was told they had all types of furniture. When I hired them with a set budget in mind, I was told that they did not carry any low end furniture to add in as my budget dwindled. It would have been better to hire an independent interior designer . This store only pushes their products. I felt pressured into buying things and I am not happy with the end result. I bought at least $15,000 worth of furniture at Robb & Stucky while they were located in Miami. On one of my purchases on 10/28/2018 in the amount of $8,615.64 they offered me an insurance called "5 Year Protection Plan". I never, ever buy protection plans but in this case the plan was if after 5 years I did not have any claims, I would get a full refund of my $399. which was the cost of the plan. I never had any claims during the time I had the furniture. I have called them at least 6 times. I spoke to Ronnie who assured me she would take care of this as the files were stored somewhere else?? (I thought there were computers for this). Every time I call the office, they transfer me and leave me holding until I hang up. Every time I leave my phone number they never call back. I trusted that this was a reputable company but I would like to get the $399 which I am entitled to as I had no claim since I took ownership of the furniture. I am writing this negative review in the hope that someone at Robb & Stucky can call me and rectify this problem. read more

Robb & Stucky have class! They know how to make me happy by their friendly, helpful, positive willingness to find whatever it is I want. I was invited to attend one of their openings & I was very impressed with the spacious, beautifully lit showroom & decor. They served everyone delicious appetizers & wine in crystal glasses at the opening event. No cheap plastic cups in sight! And when I asked about a particular piece of furniture I had in mind they made every effort to find it for me. They are a little expensive but so is a Cadillac. I furnished most of my home at the Boca Raton location with an amazing designer. Delivery which I was told would take 6 - 10 weeks turned into 5 months. I was still okay. Delivery was great, BUT when I encountered a problem (stains) on an area rug made by a sleeper sofa that's when my nightmare began. I was told by service the sleep sofa did not cause the stains. I took out an extended warranty, called and was told I did not have one on the area rugs. Apparently, my designer did not offer that service to me. It took the store manager three weeks to return my call. He was going to look into the matter, it's now been another three weeks and again I have not heard from him. Robb and Stucky may have beautiful furniture, But it's just not worth the aggravation. Shame on you Robb & Stuckey for taking people's money and not following through. read more

The furniture is very elegant, however I didn't buy anything because of the awful treatment I received . However ,the sales associate that "helped " me was very rude , nasty , and she needs diversity training . The sales associate told me in the floor room out loud this isn't like "rooms to go or El Dorado ". How rude and nasty to tell me that . Old drained up wrench with wrinkles needs to be fired. Secondly , she assumed because I'm young and black I shop at a discounted furniture store . Very racist! If you are not Jewish don't shop here . The staff is mean, judgmental , and senile . Terrible experience Used a designer from there to help me pick out fabric for very expensive chairs that i purchased from Robb ad Stucky The chairs arrived fabric clashed with the entire room. After spending nearly two hours in this store, we were amazed to discover he not only didn't know what we were trying to buy and have delivered, he didn't care! It was shocking. Purchased 3 items of their BDI office furniture line several weeks ago. Decided to add 2 more items. We stopped by at 4:45 PM yesterday to order them (they close at 5 PM). Cheryl greeted us as we walked in, being kind here, as she immediately informed us they close at 5 PM (knew that) and she suggested it would be better if we came back another day. We asked if someone could help us buy now. She said Robb & Stuckey did not sell office furniture and there was no one who was available to assist us. We informed her we'd already purchased 3 items of their BDI office line and wanted to add 2 more pieces. She was unmoved! Okay, I understand it's the holiday season and everybody's busy. But why stay open to 5 PM if you are going to turn away people who walk in the door at 4:45 PM? Why lie to your customers about product line? Why be rude about our attempt to buy some furniture? We really thought that was why you were there. So we drove to Adams Interiors, open until 6 PM (arrived at 5:45 PM) and they were happy to sell us the 2 BDI pieces we wanted. read more
