Great food with lovely employees. The meat is delicious and great selection at the butchers section.

This place is a mixture of butcher shop, deli, bakery and restaurant. Simple decor. Where do I start, as I walked in I had to use the restroom which is in the back through a dark hall, it smelled bad, it was not clean and there were 3 buckets for roof leaks. I used a groupon and the waitress right away stated all the things I could not order, although no such restrictions existed on the groupon. I requested a churrasco cooked "medium " instead I got a thick palomilla well done and extremely salty. I wad not offered chimichurri sauce and had to get up hunt for the server to request it. The vegetables were definitely from a can. I will not be returning here, sorry. read more

Small family Argentine restaurant/store. The service was a bit slow but food was good. Prices are reasonable and the house Cabernet was not bad at all. Hopefully we'll be going back soon to try their different weekly specials. read more

WARNING!!! STAY AWAY!!! Regretfully we got take out to try this place. As soon as we got in the car I noticed a foul smell. Very long story short the meat was bad, the empanadas some rave about GROSS and the sweets definitely NOT fresh. Who knows how long they have been sitting there for. This garbage place needs to shut down! NEVER AGAIN! read more

I visited this place last week. I wish I had read the negative reviews before going there. I have been to this restaurant a few times before, starting when it was Che Tano many years ago. I always enjoyed their beef and chorizos and they USED to serve QUALITY meats. NOT anymore. Their cuts of beef are fatty and taste like they are about to go bad. We had the parrillada for 2 ($40). The chorizo was a dry chunk of meat, the chicken was thin, rubbery and tasted weird. The costilla asada was grease and bones and the vacío tasted like it was spoiled. We told the waitress and she responded by telling me they could give us something else because another vacío was going to taste the same! I don't usually return food, but we returned the vacío and it was replaced with more greasy costillas. We left half the food on the platter, IT WAS THAT BAD! The quality of the food in this restaurant has seriously declined. My husband felt sick the entire evening after our meal and we are sure it was the food we ate which clearly didn't taste fresh. The owners do not take criticism very well either. I posted a review on their Facebook page and the owner responded by telling me I was abusing social media by giving them a bad review. Well, they are abusing the public by serving such nasty cuts of beef. This USED to be a great place. Now it is sooo bad, I will never eat there again. Keep your money and buy some good ribeye and churrasco at your local supermarket. You'll get better food! **Response to owner: Oh Carla, your knee-jerk reaction to my review just proves you can't accept criticism. You should spend more time getting the quality back to your restaurant instead of attacking your customers. By the way, it is NOT ABUSE OF SOCIAL MEDIA- IT IS MY OPINION. You have a public establishment and you provide a service. I have a right to give you a review based on my experience and the goods and services that you provided. What's really funny is that you take zero responsibility or provide an apology for truly serving really BAD food! read more

I came here with my parents for dinner. Me and my step dad ordered a "Parrilla for 2" which we were surprised to find that there were only sides for one. Most of the meat was over cooked, and the chicken was inedible. This plate was $35 and both of us left looking for something else to eat. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone, and we will surely NOT be coming back. If you enjoy good meat, avoid this place. read more

One of the lady attendants (whom we think is the owner or at least acts like the owner) has a horrible attitude. Raised her voice and gave us attitude because we weren't understanding her rushed explanation of how to order per unit or per party. We've been coming here for years and always try to avoid her but this time she was the only one and I'm sorry to say but because of her they lost us as clients forever. Unbearable and so rude. Don't buy here. read more

Worst customer service you can have by the waitressed I don't know if she's there every day but at least she was here on Tuesday morning we didn't even get to eat because the service was so bad!! I've learn not to give my money to any Mickey Mouse restaurant and this in one. read more

The food was terrible. The churrascho was bad ,overcooked and no flavor (8 oz).even the potatoes were horrible,The chicken was very thin and it was the type that comes frozen and tasted old. Both the chicken and the churrascho were not eaten and returned. You have been warned. read more

I ordered delivery using eat24 app. I received the order in less than 35 min and the food was AMAZING!!!!!. It was my first time trying the food and I strongly recommend them. read more

Los Tanitos - Argentine Near Me - Miami, Florida

ZERO STARS for Customer Service and they NEVERRRR HONOR their Groupons. 3 TIMES we've come (to give them the benefit of the doubt) --EVERY TIME that I try to use the Groupon, they ALWAYS have an excuse as to why they won't accept it. This time, we came on Easter Sunday, and they wouldn't accept the Groupon because it was a Holiday. I showed them THEIR Groupon ad, which ONLY excludes Christmas Eve/Day & New Year's Eve/Day ...and they still wouldn't honor it. Last time, we came with 3 other couples, who all bought the Groupon ...and we were told that they couldn't honor it because they ONLY use it on "certain tables" and they were "already taken" (NO WHERE on the Ad or the restaurant did it say such a ridiculous thing). And the very 1st time...they wouldn't allow us to pick a dish from where the Groupon stated. LAST TIME HERE! ...and I STILL haven't been able to cash in the Freakin' Groupon--calling to get a refund. Our ADVICE, go to Burger King or anywhere else but here. read more

Los Tanitos - THUMBS DOWN!! - Argentine Near Me - Miami, Florida

Great food--perfect churrasco and service by Carla. Highly recommend and they have a great Groupon available!

Horrible experience! My husband and I purchased a groupon for two entrees and two glasses of wine. I've purchased restaurant groupons before and there was never a restriction on what meals to pick, so I was surprised to learn that this groupon had such a limitation. We had a choice between meat and meat. I don't eat steak, so I would have preferred chicken or fish, but I had no choice to pick steak. The meat was alright, but the sides that came with it were horrible. The rice that my husband ordered was hard and looked liked it was cooked in the microwave. The only edible side we had was the mashed potatoes, because really, who can mess up mashed potatoes. The restaurant itself had a lot to be desired. It looked like any Latin bakery with crammed in tables and chairs. All in all, we will never go back, I'm grateful that I only purchased one groupon. read more

A friend brought me to Los Tanitos a while back and we have been frequently going there ever since. The service is fabulous, the food quality and selection is wonderful, and the atmosphere is outstanding. Carla is especially a treat. Her attitude towards her customers is so great. She always has a smile and remembers our orders from the last time we were there. She makes great suggestions of foods we may want to try. I encourage everyone to come there, well, maybe not, I want to keep it for myself! read more

DONT COME HERE!! Came here because we had a Groupon that offered two entrees and two glasses of wine with no restrictions. I was craving a milanesa napolitana. Unfortunately, the waitress told us that that wasn't one of the Groupon options. We told her as well as the manager that Groupon had no restrictions on the entrees. The manager told us she knew that the Groupon says there are no restrictions but still we could not order what we wanted. This is a terrible way to do business and the manager handled the situation terribly. We left feeling incredibly cheated by Los Tanitos and now we get to go through the fun of trying to get our money back from Groupon. Soooo, thanks for the hassle and the empty belly Los Tanitos. Thank you for forcing us to leave your restaurant unsatisfied. NEVER COME HERE!! read more

Been a customer at Los Tanitos's family for over 10 yrs.(since Che Tanos). I haven't been here for over a year and decided to come here to eat for breakfast yesterday. I have the pleasure of having the owner, Sergio served me. What a pleasant and welcoming experience. I was there before they were opened and decided to wait since I was craving for their steak. It was so delicious like always, so tender and tasty. Thanks Sergio for a wonderful dining experience. And not to mention that they also have the best fresh meat market around the area. Definitely will back!!! read more

Liked the variety of the menu. Great food, service on time....our waitress Iruhany very friendly and oriented us on the different kinds of meats so we could choose correctly. Good atmosphere to enjoy a great meal. read more

Service was terrible, our waitress took our order and never returned, nobody asked if all was ok, if we needed napkins or water or anything! Food was just ok nothing special. Another waitress had to finish taking care of us. Owner needs to invest in his/her employees customer service skills. read more

I went to Che Tano looking for their delicious meat for my Sunday BBQ with the family and found that the place was closed. Luckily I wasn't ready to give up and called what used to be their number and I was told that they moved to a new location and the restaurant is now called Los Tanitos. I, of course, immediately headed over to their new location. The concept is the same. The place still is an Argentinian restaurant/deli//meat market combination and they even have those delicious empanadas and Argentinian pastries (which I didn't get to enjoy because I didn't want to over do it) however I left the place with everything I needed for my BBQ. The entraña was perfect as usual and the salchicha parrillera was a hit. It appears to be that the quality of the meat is still there even after the change of ownership. I hope it remains the same so i can keep going back. read more

The food is great and so is the wine. The atmosphere is a little to be desired for and the waitresses aren't that attentive. The only reason I choose to come back is because they really do make a good plate of meat. If you're in the Kendall area and you're looking for decent Argentinian meal, this is the place to go, but if you're willing to drive further up north I would recommend that instead. read more

The waiter was extremely rude. No customer service whatsoever... food was hard. I went with 7 people for lunch brunch and we all left disappointed. Should have paid attention to the reviews. Totally disliked this place (Thumbs down) read more

I was accused of not paying my bill. I won't ever be going back to this place. Upon walking out, a rude waitress with black hair called me back to ask me if I paid my bill. I was so insulted. "Of course I payed, that's why I am walking out" I told her. Never again will I'll go back! read more

This is my empanada place for life! Have had many in other places, nothing compares to theirs. Big variety, and option of fried or baked (for health nuts like me). When I used to eat meat, it was my grilling meat place as well. They have nice simple meat based lunches at affordable prices. Have been going to this place for 10 years or more, in the old and newer location in Kendall. Empanada Kings! read more

If could give this restaurant a zero start, I could. It has the worst servers, they don't bring anything you ask for. Last weekend my family and I went to celebrate a nephew's birthday and we asked for three parrilladas (they were so small and hardly food on the plate), they never brought us the third one, they forgot the sodas, the brucheta, and a cup of sangria. It has the worst service and attitude. I won't recommend this place to anyone and I won't come back here ever. read more

I have been here twice. Omg the churrasco is flavorful juicy and delicious! All of their sides are fresh and the prices are great! The pasta as well is amazing! The staff is very attentive. Will def be returning. I haven't had a chance to buy any sweets which look fresh and tasty! The market offers a variety of freshly prepared dishes to cook at home. Both dessert tasting and some food shopping will be done on my next visit. read more

Excellent Argentinian food at a reasonable price. Service is not the greatest, but not that bad. They also have 1/2 portions which is nice if you want to eat light. A vacio steak and a Quilmes and you can't go wrong. read more

I went in about 5 minutes before the kitchen closed so I didn't have much time to decide. Apparently the deal in the restaurant only covered the churrasco and a side. The wine variety was whatever but I could not complain. I asked for the churrasco medium well and instead they presented a medium rare. The rice and black beans were nothing out of the ordinary. The service was okay. Overall I don't have much to complain about but I don't have anything extraordinary to say either. read more

I come here quite often when my craving for Argentinian parrillada kicks in. Can't go wrong with their fresh chimichurri either. It's a quiet place and is also a butcher and market as well. Great food and service. read more

The most expensive parrillada for two , the place it's good, I like the fact it's a little market for meat and Argentinian stuff, bakes empanadas and the best sea salt for bbq , but the restaurant it's not the best . read more

Excellent service and friendly people. I don't understand the negative reviews I have read on here. I would have to say that it's quite the opposite. Clean restaurant, friendly staff, amazing food, bakery, deli and meat market. Not too many shops like this are left anymore. I love local moms and pops shops. This one happens to be my favorite! read more

Why do restaurants sell groupons if they hate them so much? I read the groupon from top to bottom and nowhere did it say that it excluded lunch. When we presented the groupon to the waitress she did not accept it. I asked where does it say no lunch??? She said: 'in the menu'. Wow! Really??? Now instead of looking for my plate I have to look for groupon instructions in the menu???? People look out. Show your groupon the second u get there so all the fine print can be disclosed to you!! read more

WOW ordered the churrasco and that was just amazing! Got it through Uber eats and it was still the best I've had when it comes to that steak. Mozzarella sticks were good too and the broccoli and carrots were hot and soft but still had a nice crutch to it! 10/10 read more

Never disappoints! I've been coming to los Tanitos since it was located on Kendall Dr and 137th Avenue, and the quality of the meats has always been excellent! Just had lunch again today with my daughter and nephew (empanadas, medium vacío, fries and steamed veggies, medium well skirt steak, fries and rice, well done vacio, baked sweet potatoes and caprese salad), and every item came out perfect. The meats were cooked to taste, juicy and flavorful, the service was very attentive (I love it when people greet you with a smile on their face and a kind disposition). The bread was freshly baked, the coffee was hot and strong. Those are the reasons why I'll always keep coming back. read more

Excellent service. Parrillada was delicious. Used Groupon voucher. Validated without issues.

My daughter and I went there this evening, after a Google search of Argentine restaurants and bakeries. She needed foods from Argentina as a class project. When we walked in, we were greeted by a nice young lady. My daughter explained what she needed and why, and the young lady knew exactly what to offer us. She gave great suggestions, one being some pre-packaged cookies that are a argentine delicacy. She also told us about their special on the pastries. Needless to say, she knew that we needed assistance and was not out to make me spend tons of money for a "project." The sweet croissant with dulce de leche was delicious! The pastry and the service have definitely warranted a return visit. read more

I enjoy this place. The food is always fresh and the service is quick. The only reason I didn't give a 5 is because last time we asked for a provolone app it never came. We didn't stress cause once the entree came we figured we could do without but still. read more

Omg, this place is a gem in Kendall. We finally found this place again after years, they used to be Che Tano, and we cannot rave enough about the food and service! We went yesterday for lunch and it was soo good, we went back for dinner! All their food is home made and their staff especially Chef/Butcher Carla are exceptional! We are avid eaters who have been to mostly all of Miami restaurants from most expensive to cheapest and this one, is the best Argentinean place by far! We just found our new favorite place! read more

Enjoyed our evening out at Los Tanitos and enjoyed the food/service. Delicious fresh bread; the baked spinach empanada we shared as an appetizer was fresh, flaky and tasty; the wine was very nice; and our beed dinner was plentiful and extremely tender. Ambiance was pleasant, bathrooms clean, good service. Place was full on a Tuesday evening. Have no clue what the negative posts were about. We used a Groupon deal and our experience was quite enjoyable. read more

If I could give it half a star I would. We waited for about 15 minutes to be seated. The atmosphere was so negative. No smiling faces from any of the employees. We finally sat no one greeted us, offered us water and no contact for about 25 minutes. Every time I looked at a waitress to ask who was going to serve us they looked at our table and continued about their business. This place is small enough where an employee can tell if you haven't been served or acknowledged. We got up and left and still no one said anything, not even the hostess. I felt so closed in and negative vibes. Not cause it's small, I don't mind the small space, just everyone was so unfriendly and was tense. It just made me and my family uncomfortable. DO NOT GO! read more
