This place is clutch!!! Every time we crave Arab food we come here!! Authentic and delicious food!! We purchased the tabbouleh, baba ghanoush, kibbeh, & tzatziki. I recommend these items to everyone! Especially if you're looking for natural dips and sauces that will add delicious flavors to you meals! They have a market in the front side of the shop and a small deli looking area in the back which is where they have the food. They make fresh tabbouleh, rice, grape leaves, kibbeh and many more delicacies. I believe this shop/restaurant is family owned and operated which makes the service top notch.

The best Middle Eastern food I have ever tried in the whole Miami. Baklava is to die for and food is fresh and so tasty, we always get our food here for special occasions.

I stumbled across Al Basha when I was actually looking to have lunch at a different spot next door. A sign on the door said they had gyro's and I decided to try it out instead. The place is a Middle Eastern super market with a few authentic items for purchase. I wouldn't know how to cook any of it (I'm cuban and basically make rice with every meal) but I would imagine this is helpful for those looking to cook authentic Middle Eastern Cuisine. Towards the back is a small area where you can purchase foods like kibbeh, taboule, gyro, etc. I was disappointed to see that some of the food was being heated up for another guest by a microwave in front of his face but the man didn't seem to mind as he seemed like a regular and ordered 3 platters. The man that assisted me was extremely nice and helpful! I asked for a lamb gyro. Luckily for me, my lamb was cooked on a grill and he put the gyro together in front of me, adding tons of toppings. I got back to work to have my gyro and the explosion of taste was INCREDIBLE. I wish it was bigger so that I could have eaten more! If the rest of the food tastes as good as the gyro did I see myself coming back often!

Very authentic Arabic food. Their baklava was the best I've ever tried! And I love the date cookies, not too sweet. A lot of flavor. I wish my food came warmed up though, it was pretty cold when we picked it up, but other than that, great place if you're craving real Arabic food!

Middle Easter Market & eatery!!!... craving for middle eastern food???...good chance will be good! Went to browse what's around... to my surprise and great findings a meal that I can make up at home... or just eat it there. Well next I'll try your food Al Basha. You carry good ingredients, good brands too!!!... different from other Middle Eastern markets! Either make falafel, kibbeh, humus, tabouli... it's all here to make it as you please. Some people say it's easier when you just go and eat it... but what better way to help yourself unlimited times when you are making it at home..????? With great ingredients that you can get at Al Basha???

Can you believe this restaurant has been around for 21 years?! I've been passing by this shopping plaza for yearssssss and have never noticed it till I walked into the Subway next door. Instantly caught my eye with the gyro window advertisement. I'm sorry but when you walk into a Mediterranean/Arabic location, you don't expect the staff to be speaking in Spanish to the cute little viejitos they were tending to. That's amazing! And the best part is that it seemed like the customers were regulars there because I had the viejito ask about the young guy (maybe part owner of the business) for his mom and how was she doing. I loved that! The customer service was spectacular. And although I didn't get his name, but the gentleman had long hair in a pony tail and light eyes. He was suggested the kibbeh combo and since I had never tried it, I gave it a shot. DE-LI-CIOUS!! Everything is made in house. The food had great flavor. I was pleasantly surprised with this hole in the wall. And their prices can't be beat! I'm so happy I came across it. Their baklava is to die for. And how cool is it that it's also a Mediterranean/Middle Eastern mini Mart too?? One stop shop! Looking forward to going back and trying something new off their menu :)

I love in Doral and this is almost the closest one to us. It has a good variety of middle eastern goods. I went to buY semolina flour, needed the fine and coarse kind and found them both. They also have Arabic foods. I tried the falafel and kibbeh. They were good. The grocery items are a little bit expensive than some other places, but it evens out because of the distance.

    Grill area. Friendly guy.

Got the kofta kabob platter, along with chicken shawarma & beef as sides. Also kibbeh & falafel. Everything was good. The guy was really nice & attentive to me. All of the meat were a bit dry though. Total was $18 something.

My husband and I were customers here one time. In the store, I saw almost no price tags for the merchandise. I drank the Immune Tropical Smoothie, which contained orange juice, banana, pineapple, and mango, and I rate its flavor as 5 stars. I also ordered the Ham-Cheese Arepa. An employee told me that it would take 5 minutes to make, but I had to wait significantly longer. My husband and I agreed that this arepa was a low quality. The cheese inside was cold, and the arepa overall did not taste good, so we ate only part of it. I rate it as 2 stars. The eating area outside was small but located near a walkway lined with pretty palm trees. The total price for both foods was $23.

Unfortunately, on several occasions, the avocado has been far from fresh. Instead, it's been completely brown, unappetizing, and not something I wanted to eat. I decided to give it another try, but once again, the avocado was brown. For the price of the avocado toast, I would expect fresh ingredients every time, not just occasionally. That said, the customer service here is always excellent. The staff is friendly, the place is very clean, and ordering by phone is quick and easy. I just wish the quality of the avocado was consistent enough to match the great service.

A Slice of Dominican New York... Right Here on Miami Beach…read more I've been coming to Ocean Deli since 2020, and I honestly can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review. Maybe because people from New York know one universal rule: when you find a great neighborhood spot, you keep your mouth shut. You don't want your hidden gem becoming the next place where people wait in line because somebody on social media "discovered" it. Ocean Deli is one of the last authentic neighborhood delis left on Miami Beach. In a city filled with luxury hotels, trendy brunch spots, and restaurants charging resort prices for breakfast, Ocean Deli quietly does what it's been doing all along--serving great food, quickly, and at prices that still make sense. This is where the people who actually keep Miami Beach running come to eat. Hotel employees, construction workers, delivery drivers, city workers, first responders, and the locals who somehow managed to survive Miami Beach's rising cost of living. If you want to know where the real locals eat, this is it. The owner is Dominican and from the Bronx, and that New York Dominican bodega culture is written all over this place--in the best possible way. Walk through the door and you'll swear you just landed in Washington Heights or the Bronx. Bachata and merengue are playing in the background. The smell of fresh café con leche fills the room. The grill is always working. Conversations bounce around the deli like you've walked into someone's neighborhood hangout instead of a business. The ladies behind the counter are unmistakably Dominican--friendly, hardworking, efficient, and they keep the line moving without ever losing that neighborhood feel. The sandwiches are outstanding. Fresh bread, generous portions, and made the way sandwiches are supposed to be made. No unnecessary gimmicks. No tiny portions with fancy names. The café con leche deserves its own mention. Strong, smooth, and exactly what coffee should taste like. If you've spent any time in New York's Dominican neighborhoods, you'll recognize it immediately. The Dominican breakfast and lunch plates are equally impressive. Simple, authentic, flavorful comfort food that fills you up instead of emptying your wallet. Speaking of wallets... Ocean Deli might be one of the best values left on Miami Beach. While restaurants a few blocks away are charging you like they flew the eggs in first class, Ocean Deli is quietly serving quality food at prices that remind you Miami Beach wasn't always built just for tourists. Just know what you're walking into......This isn't a sit-down restaurant. You walk in, place your order, take your receipt to the register and pay. Then you wait a few minutes while the grill works its magic. When they call your order, you grab your food and you're on your way. That's how it's done here. Fast, efficient, and without all the unnecessary fanfare. Ocean Deli isn't trying to sell you an "artisan culinary experience." It's selling great sandwiches, authentic Dominican food, excellent café con leche, fair prices, and a little piece of Dominican-York right here on Miami Beach. Some places sell an image....... Ocean Deli sells breakfast and lunch. After six years of coming here, I wouldn't have it any other way. Just do yourself one favor: when you find yourself surrounded by tourists paying resort prices for an average meal, remember there's still one place on Miami Beach where the locals go. Now You Know
