Ok let's start with the service it was fast I'll give them that, food from 1 to 10 I'll give it a 7 we had a few items like quesabirria tacos and ok but the meat had lots of fat which can't be appetizing then we also camarones a la diabla they where alright but would eat them again next we had tacos de asada they where ok also next we had breaded shrimp they where also ok and last I had the grilled chicken breast platter the chicken was good rice ehh ok beans also ehh ok. Now drinks agua de melon was good horchata also good but but! One thing we noticed way too much Ice so we asked for another horchata with out ice and they mentioned to us that it will be extra cost which was the same size as the first horchata we had ordered and that was the thing that left me like seriously? Wow I guess, but that would keep Coustomer's from not coming back some hot g small like that trust me. So you guys need to keep that in mind that's all.

I really like this place. It's exactly what you'd expect of a Mexican restaurant! Baskets of chips with salsa to start and don't forget a margarita! Try the mango frozen margarita- yum! Hubby had the chicken quesadilla-it was two large flour tortillas loaded with onions and peppers with cheese and chicken then grilled . I did get a bite -but obit one ! It was that good! I had the fajitas pina-I loved the addition of big chucks of pineapple with the traditional fajitas blend of steak chicken and shrimp. I couldn't finish it there's enough for a couple of meals! And there was something so wonderful about their flour tortillas. Warm and tender and very soft. The atmosphere is cheerful and open. We were able to be seated immediately during tourist season and were socially distanced even though it is no longer a requirement for business. We will be back! Hasta la vista!

Hit the spot. After a busy morning at the beach, my sons and I were famished. We checked out the 5-hour wait at Clementine's and wandered on to see what we could eat within a reasonable timeframe. Los Ranchos was seating immediately. We went in, ordered, and got some well-prepared and tasty Mexican American food. It hit the spot, was timely, and the service was good. Nothing to complain about and a pleasant experience.

The size, set up and friendliness of staff is what allowed me to give Los Ranchos one star. I am a Mexican food consumer......and unfortunately this is 2nd on my list now of the blandest, least flavorful Mexican meal I've ever had. The additional salsa I requested didn't even in help. Treating my family here for dinner wasn't a waste, but we were all still hungry by when we got home and I needed to brush my teeth immediately to get the "non taste" taste out of my mouth. Unfortunately, won't be returning

Terrible service and attitude from the staff. Waited almost two hours for food and ignored most of the night.

Our server, Angel was especially attentive. Do check out the cocktail menu. There are more fruit-forward sweet ones, but I enjoyed the herbal Skinny Cucumber Mezcelita with fresh cuke slices and lime. The unsalted tortilla chip appetizer might have been better had it been served fresh and warm. We thought we'd get guacamole with the appetizer, but received a variation on a salsa verde instead. My guy's chicken soft burrito was very large, lukewarm. The standout however was the German Goulash soup - served piping hot, seasoned and loaded with vegetable and meat bits. Yum! Its location is a plus. The staff maintains all public areas of the property, including restrooms, immaculately clean. We would have no problem returning.

Atypical from most Mexican restaurants, there was no chips and salsa for the table (which is one of my favorite things about Mexican restaurants), and the meal that I had had relatively little flavor. It was not bad, but just had no flavor. I'll perhaps go again and try something different, but it seems pretty vanilla for a Mexican restaurant.

We kicked things off with an order of the corn queso and chips and I picked three tacos for my meal. There's a lot of seafood options here and 2 out of my 3 choices fell in that category--coconut shrimp, fish and chips, and fajita steak. Of the three my favorite was actually the steak (though I'd call it more of a short rib maybe?) though all three were great. The coconut shrimp had a bit more of a kick to it than I was expecting but it was still excellent. I also LOVED the corn queso and definitely ate more than my fair share. They've got a few beer options, cocktails, beer, and a couple of NA options outside of soda including a delicious lavender lemonade and a watermelon lime slushie. I'm not the biggest fan of watermelon but it sounded refreshing so I went with that as my beverage and it was really, really, good. If you're ready to party you can add a shot of liquor to it to give it a little more sauce. Ordering is fairly straightforward. Order all your food and drinks at the counter, wait for your drinks, then grab a seat and wait for your food which they'll bring out to you. FYI the indoor seating is currently not air-conditioned so keep that in mind when you grab a seat if it's hot out. And DEFINITELY keep it in mind when the tip screen comes up at the register. They have a note saying tips are optional as they pay the staff accordingly but it was in the 90s when we were here and I can't imagine how hard it was working through that. So we definitely left a few bucks as a thank you.
