Seriously…read more We ordered like people who hadn't eaten in days: biscuits and gravy (as a "side"... sure), seasonal fruit (grapes, pineapple, strawberries), and the chimichurri steak & eggs with hash as our main. Oh--and a kale tonic drink to feel responsible, plus iced coffee because balance. Everything? Absolutely delicious. Not one weak link. We ended up sharing everything and still had more than enough food for two people--which is rare unless you accidentally order for a family of four like we did. The real problem now is we've seen the rest of the menu... and we want all of it. So yeah, we're definitely coming back with a better strategy (and probably more stomach capacity). Staff was super attentive, our waiter was phenomenal, and the whole modern farmhouse vibe is actually really well done--clean, bright, and "Instagram-but-not-trying-too-hard." Also, underrated detail: the bathrooms. Four individual private units instead of the usual awkward stall situation. Huge win. Final verdict: great food, great service, great vibe. Come hungry... and maybe bring a game plan.

Today's visit included burnt coffee... can't get the bitter taste out of my mouth. Uncooked bread with butter and syrup AKA French toast. Quality and consistency no longer exists at first watch. I would have posted pictures but the waitress snatched my plate before I could.

Coldwater grows, bakes, and serves its own food using local produce from its urban garden and ingredients sourced from small-scale farmers and producers to craft scratch-made meals, hand-shaped breads, and brewed drinks. They are also a worker-owned cooperative. Coldwater is housed inside a cute and cozy house. There's plenty of seating. In addition to coffee, breakfast, pastries, and more, they also sell produce and baked goods. I was greeted right away. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered an oat milk latte with honey and cinnamon powder as well as an eggs, herbs, and cheese bollo. I learned that a bollo is a hand-stuffed soft brioche dough filled with eggs, local meats, and seasonal ingredients. It was served warm and was delicious! My latte was also wonderful. Highly recommend checking out this great, locally-owned coffeehouse!

This place is always busy and it's an old house so, it's creaky when everyone walks in already and you can hear that. I'm not sure why they need a bell to scare the jeebies out of us. Maybe I'm just sensitive . Really sweet shop though .

The place was full when my friend and I got there. We waited for about 10 minutes for our table on a Saturday morning and it was absolutely worth the wait. First of the, the coffee was soo good!! I ordered a Lady Litchfield omelette no cheese and my friend got the nacho fries. Both are delicious and not filling at all. Looking at the dish with all the colors made me so happy and I could taste the freshness of the ingredients! The flow of service was spot on. We got refills of coffee without even asking - attention-to-detail point increased!! Last point, there's only one gender neutral bathroom. Sooo don't be like me to wait till you really have to go to wait in line...if you know what I mean *wink*.

Being a resident I drop in here about every five years and while consistent in their offerings, it also consistently "meh". We brought our pup and the service from Miguel was attentive and helpful even bringing a bowl of water for our pup. The location and ambiance is quiet and intimate (I suggest sitting outside when it's nice) and is much bugger than it looks. Coffee taste like Folgers and while each plate has a lot of ingredients, it doesn't have a lot of taste. We ordered the Lady Litchfield Omelette and breakfast burrito and while generous in portion the irony of the dishes was interesting. The omelette was chock full of veggies and minimal egg to wrap them, the burrito had a ton of egg and tortilla but minimal ingredients to taste. At the End of the Day I just don't feel like the experience warranted the $16+ price tag per meal. I'll come back in five more years and see if anything has changed.
