The atmosphere is amazing . They have a great variety of cocktails with a full bar! Service and staff are super friendly and of course you are going to get authentic Mexican food. Great place to honest parties or gatherings for all ages as they have karaoke I believe and a couple cool claw machines for the kids and even the adults with worthy prizes!! Must visit!!

Came here since they opened. Disappointed in the protein quantity for the price as of recently.

Im visiting Modesto, CA from Florida. Searched places to eat on TikTok and this place came up. Sounded great and decided to try. Honestly, when driving up, the plaza looked a bit beat up. Decided to give it a try anyway. So glad I did!!! The service and food was great! It was definitely flame grilled. The salsa bar had great options - pico de gallo, red and green salsa and cilantro and onions. Ordered the whole chicken which came with side of rice and beans and plenty of house-made tortillas. They have aguas frescas that were also delicious! The restaurant was very nice and clean. The tables and booth seating were nice. Overall a great place. Recommend you try if you're in the area.

Tacos, chalupas, burritos are GREAT! Aguas frescas, refreshing! Bean dip, a great appetizer. Nachos on the other hand are TRASH! JUST TAKE IT OFF THE MENU IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE NACHO CHEESE! Focus on the food you guys are good at, why add trash to your menu! Yes it says yellow cheese on the description, just thought since this is a mexican restaurant, and the rest of the food is good, that there would be actual cheese not American NACHO CHEESE! It's a disservice to the food you guys make! Two stars because buying these nachos was a huge disappointment! DO BETTER!

We have a spot in Riverbank that we love the pollo a las brasas but we did not feel like driving all the way there and we had seen the reviews of this place so we came in for dinner. It's not in the greatest part of town but don't let the shopping center that it is in deter you. We ordered a half and half order of chicken combo, so had two plates of beans and rice and half wood cooked chicken in Diabla sauce and the other half was their regular chicken a la brasa. They also gave us chips and bean dip. So the beans, rice and bean dip were ok, not great not bad just ok. The chicken in the diabla sauce was delicious. The regular chicken was covered on top with roasted onions and jalapeños that were amazing. The chicken was well seasoned and was well smoked but it's not a traditional a las brasas or wood smoked chicken which is usually crispier, this chicken because they drench it in either Diabla sauce or the roasted veggies it's soggier so a different vibe yet delicious. The Diabla sauce was almost too spicy for me but worth the pain! The red salsa from their salsa bar was one of the best my wife has had in a long time and the rest of the salsa bar was well stocked with a variety of salsas and pickled spicy carrots and peppers. Cucumber slices and other condiments. The service was pretty good and the place it's very nicely decorated and spacious. We will definitely be back but you have to make sure in this part of town you lock your car and are careful specially after dark. We will still go to the other spot for traditional pollo a las brasas but we can wait to come back for more Diabla chicken and I want to try the carne asada.

I looked up taqueria and found this nearby, and it has almost 5 stars, so I stopped. Let me start by saying this place is huge and has a very family-friendly feel. Starting with the chips and salsa, I give it a thumbs up. Fresh crisp chips with beans and cheese with the salsa verde were a perfect start to my meal. I ordered the asada taco and Pollo quesadilla, and my husband ordered the chalupa. You order at the counter and pay, then sit down, which is nice because getting the check at most restaurants is the hardest part. Now the food, the smoke flavor of the Pollo in the quesadilla was delicious and the meat was tender I ate most of it. Now, the taco, as you can see, is so greasy and completely inedible. I do not know how that much grease ended up on one taco, but this photo was taken after I soaked up 2 napkins of grease. I'm really disappointed after so many positive reviews. Not for me......

This place is so delicious! I've been there twice in the last 3 days and can't get enough! The pollo, and pastor are my favorite. The chalupas have me coming back for more!

With a name like that, you need to try the chicken! Fresh grilled pollo on grilled tortillas. Simple but delicious. Try it with the chipotle sauce! #spicemeister approved.

Worth it! Walked into a very quiet, but colorful restaurant with only one other patron inside. The employees were so nice. We were told to pick anywhere, we were brought menus and instantly asked if we'd like anything to drink or if we wanted to look at the menu first... We asked for suggestions and the waitress offered the types of drinks they have. She brought us chips and salsa. The chips were homemade with a perfect crunch. The salsa was fresh, chunky and not spicy. The pepino cone limo aqua Fresca was the best aqua Fresca I've EVER had. Not too sweet at all and was SO REFRESHING. We also ordered an horchata and I was told that was just as good. The food... Where to start. We ordered an empanada and some quedabirria tacos. The empanada was HUGE, deliciously filling with fresh ingredients. It had great flavor. The quesabirria tacos were probably the best we've had. You order the amount you want. They are 5.99 each and oh so delicious. The meat tasted SO FRESH and flavorful. The creamy jalapeño salsa had a NICE kick to it. All meals come with radish and pickled onions as garnish, but eating them with the meal made it even more refreshing and delicious. They need more than one location, but until then we will be back! My only real recommendation is to avoid sitting in the bar area if you're in a hurry. Service there tends to move a lot slower, so it can take a while to get your order in and get your food. The restaurant itself is a little run down, and the bathrooms could definitely use some attention, but the bar and outside area is decorated nicely and has a good atmosphere overall. All in all, it's a great local spot and one I keep going back to.

Instead of trying to resolve the situation or make it right, the manager, Noah, became argumentative and tried to debate what had been said rather than listen to the customer. After waiting that long, the last thing anyone expects is to feel like they have to argue just to be heard. What made it more disappointing was the lack of willingness to fix the issue or offer a solution. We came in hoping for a good meal and left feeling frustrated and unheard. It's sad because good service could have easily turned this into a positive experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. At the end of it he realized and came back and finally apologized.
