The food is just text book corporate. But what sucks is that the whole wait staff is a bunch of zombies. No guest service training. They were expressionless and even walked defeated with their arms very weirdly close to their body like they were defeated. Didn't engage in conversation to make this restaurant better or more fun than the other restaurants in your area. They looked miserable. I won't come back. Everything was fine until our waiter Xavier came to our table. My wife inquired as to what type of fish was in the fish tacos since the menu said "seasonal fish." The waiter replied "it depends sometimes its mahi-mahi but sometimes it's tilapia." Again she inquired as to what type of fish would be on the taco is she ordered it tonight. Again the waiter gave the same response. My wife gave up asking. We order our food. It comes to our table in five minutes so clearly not cooked fresh. We are warned that the plates are extremely hot, which they were. The thing is why was my wife's tacos (not fish tacos since she never got an answer regarding those) and my enchiladas room temperature but the plates were 500 degrees? I wasn't three bites into my food and my wife had not even taken more than one bite when the waiter came over saying "are you saving room for dessert? Do you need to go boxes? Can I get you the check?" I'd like to eat before basically being asked to leave or being pushed out the door. We refused to be pushed out so we ate. It was subpar at best. We thought of it as about the equivalent of Taco Bell that had been left out for a few hours. The entire time we noticed that the table behind us was having just as many problems with the same waiter. He got into an argument with the woman behind us when she didn't get her guacamole and he told her that it was on her plate but it was white. Do they make avocados that are white now? Then as we are paying we hear the woman behind us ask the waiter for her coffee that she has asked for several times without ever receiving. The waiter tells her "oh it's in there" as he points to the kitchen. Her response "am I supposed to go get it?" Overall we paid sit down restaurant prices for old Taco Bell food that was served to us by a waiter that wouldn't even last a day at Taco Bell. This was our first time at the restaurant and will most likely be our last. That kind of service and food quality might work in a small town with no choices but Owasso has so many options that you would think places would try to keep customers not run them off. read more

Staff kept sweeping the floor all around us, stirring up dust and hitting our feet with trash, while we were still eating!! Complained to the waiter and all we got was "sorry", then complained to manager and again all we got was "sorry"! No acknowledgement that what they did wasn't right or asks "what could we have done differently?" Where has customer service gone? How rude was this? My husband & I usually look at Yelp before we dine in any restaurant but we were driving through Owasso & decided to stop by Los Cabos . Everything was just okay. First, we were not greeted when we came in. Hostess just looked at us and did what she had to instead of letting us know she'll be with us shortly. Food on the menu was just overpriced! Drink menu look like they had a good selection though. I had half rack ribs & it was small for over $16. At least it was tender, which the two star is for. Also our waitress was only interested in asking my husband questions. When she asked him if everything was okay, I replied since he was in the middle of eating and said "we're doing good thank you" she was just like ohhhhh okay. I mostly replied all her questions lol She also did stood by our table side when she dropped off the bill& watched us get our cash out & watched us count our money which put us to rush and kinda frustrating. Los Cabos is okay....pretty reliable, a typical family style restaurant. Not bad but not great either, just reliable. I did have a lovely mango margarita there at lunch today with my fish tacos, but I have a comment on the tacos..... DON'T WRAP THEM IN PAPER! The flour tortillas stick to the paper causing the tacos to fall apart as you try to gently peel it off. No other restaurant that I have eaten fish tacos at does this, I'm pretty sure this is the reason why. Aside from that, I didn't take advantage of this, but I did notice they have a really cool bloody Mary bar set up during their brunch. Every single time we order we are missing tacos that come with platters, sides like black beans which they package separately, or even with special instructions (Bc there's no other way to choose your 2nd side if it's not the typical beans and rice) they get it wrong or just plain do not read this at all. I hate even the thought of ordering here Bc of this. Almost like it's done intentionally. Steer clear of the Owasso location and go to Broken Arrow; they food is way better there anyhow! Great family environment. Place is very clean. Very friendly staff. Our waitress interact very well with us and made suggestions. They have a wide variety of margaritas. Seating is abundant. Food is sub par. The fish taco had so much cabbage that it was just over powering. The fish was bland. The dish can definitely use more seasoning. The Cancun platter is not bad. I think there's way too much cheese on it however. It does also need a little bit more seasoning. Overall, this place has a great environment and staffs are very friendly. We have been very intentional with our social distancing and we have been avidly looking for restaurants to support locally that also keep us safe and were so excited to have an option close to home with generally yummy food and drinks. Since the quarantine/shelter-in-place has been lifted and the restaurants are back open we have been to los Cabos three separate occasions. The first time was great- wonderful service and encouraged us to keep using that as a date night option for us. That is where the good news ends. The last two times we have been to the location we have called prior to our arrival to verify that the patio is open (we understand that nothing is normal now and want to make sure it is an option for us). Both times they have told us "yes it is and to come on". The second visit it took just a small amount of effort and some patience to find someone to serve us, I believe his name was Jorge I believe. He took good care of us and we tipped him well above 30% of our ticket because we were the only people on the patio he was serving. Overall service was fine just slightly hiccuped getting started. The third visit was ATROCIOUS. My family was in town and wanting to eat out- we had such a nice time the first time and it was a Friday night so we assumed patio would be in full order- Called ahead at 8:48 to verify if patio was open. "Patio is open! Yes! Come on!" We go to get my dad from where he is at and head the restaurant. My fiancé arrives before us to order our food since we will be in the final hour of their business and trying to be respectful of the kitchen staff and closing duties. Fiancé arrives before us at 9:21 and calls once he is there because all lights are off and no one is outside. That's okay! He calls and alerts the staff that he is there. We arrive and he has still not been acknowledged, greeted with chips and salsa, or drink orders taken-- lights are still off. I then call again after waiting patiently at 9:32pm and ask if anyone will be serving us- noting the earlier call at 9:21- the hostess is very agreeable and assured us the waiter was just retrieving food from the kitchen for another table and would be with us shortly. Around 9:37 I walked into the building and asked if our waiter could come help us. A very kind young man tells us "yes right away" he runs inside finally turns on the outside lights and we sit down waiting for our service. At this point there is an employee eating his meal outside, two more gentleman wandering around chatting together going towards a back area on the patio, at least three people standing doing nothing in and around the bar area on the north side of the restaurant, at least another 2 standing in the kitchen doing nothing and zero activity to our table. This is not counting the other facility employees that we can see standing or seemingly being non moving in the front and or middle area of the restaurant. The kind gentleman with glasses comes out and informs us he was misinformed and we could not be served on the patio. I did not catch his name. He was wearing glasses, has a mustache and facial hair and was truly apologetic for the miscommunication. At this point my dad is infuriated asks to speak to the manager and the gentleman leaves to go retrieve them. We wait for another couple of minutes before walking inside to find the manager (middle aged woman with long curly hair- did not get her name, was not given it and could not see a name tag) and ask what could possibly be the problem-- having called more than a fair share amount of times and practicing true patience. She tells us that she is sorry she doesn't know who told us what she was going to try and serve us and "make it right". Amidst the snickers and sneers of the entire fleet of wait staff just standing around and watching this experience happening and no one just arising to the occasion to FEED PAYING CUSTOMERS ---we told her "no thank you" and left. We called ahead and told PLAZA DE TOROS off of 86th in Owasso, what happened and they told us to come on and they would serve us. Andre and his staff GRACIOUSLY served us far too close to their closing time. We had an enjoyable dinner and a tab of almost $85 for 4 people with multiple drinks ordered and appetizers and entrees for each people. Could not recommend PLAZA DE TOROS enough and an absolute shame how Los Cabos refuses to serve us for almost 30 minutes. Disgusting behavior and absolutely will not be back and will not be shy to share my experience with others. It's a shame for us to try and protect ourselves and others we are refused and inconvenienced. Disappointed is not even the half of it. read more

I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. I went with a group from work for dinner. Queso was excellent and the serving was large. Service was very good and servers were very pleasant. Great atmosphere - in a new area of town. I had the mixed fajitas. Chicken, shrimp, steak. Came with shredded cheese and sour cream. I added Guac which was excellent. Only negative was that the tortillas weren't freshly prepared and were store bought from what I could tell. I would recommend for folks traveling to the Tulsa area. She seated us and then we are served our chips and salsa. We kept waiting for our server. Then after 10 minutes, another table comes and the waitress took their order and they had drinks. I was very impressed with the service/server st Los Cabos. He didn't flinch at my many gluten-free questions and requests. The gluten-free menu was abundant, which I sincerely appreciated. My experience was less than pleasant. It started by being seated for dinner in the bar, even though the dining room was basically empty. When we asked to be seated in the dining room, we were asked to explain our concerns directly to the 17 year old hostess. The manager walked up and was as rude and uninterested in providing excellent customer service, as the hostess. After finally being seated in the dining room, our drinks arrived. The inside of the place is nice. Lots of rooms, full bar, good service. The food though to me was bland. Not very authentic Mexican, more Tex-Mex as the category suggests. I tried things from a few other people at our table and most of it was bland. Fresh, but bland. Their salsa however was amazing. They have a warm chipotle salsa that is one of the best I have had. I eat a plant based diet. (No animal products) Usually, Mexican places are good places for this type of diet. I didn't have that much luck here though.. My first visit, my server did point out that they used broth in the rice, but she didn't point out the cheese on the guacamole, or the sour cream on the black beans. I'm on a low carb diet so there's only so many things you can eat at a Mexican restaurant so when I chose a salad I was really looking forward to the chicken in the salad. I ordered the Tequila lime chicken salad. It came in a good amount time. When I first got it I tested the chicken with my finger to see if it was hot. It was not. Nor was it cold. It was room temperature. It also looked like the kind of chicken you but at the store in the packaged deli meat area. I was so disappointed. I asked the waitress if it was suppose to be hot or cold chicken and she didn't respond and said she would get the manager. He came over and I said I didn't want to eat room temperature chicken. And he offered other food and I declined. They would have accommodated me but I have a thing about sending food back. Never know how vindictive the cooks are, if you know what I mean. Personally I do not like writing bad reviews but last night we ate at Los Cabos. We had a very bad experience. First it started by asking the waitress over and over again for simple items like ketchup for my daughter's cheeseburger about 10 minutes and two waitresses later I went to go find someone and found our waitress sitting down talking to one of the boy workers while on her phone. Very perturbed, I asked for the manager who came out later, said she talked to her employee about the situation and told us she pulled this waitress out of the area because she was so busy. How is talking to your co workers and texting on the phone being busy with tables. Yet the entire time during the rest of our meal the waitress kept serving us. I also watched this manager(young/short blonde hair) Talking to a man sitting by himself who she obviously knew because they were talking about personal issues. This conversation went on for over 15 minutes and at least a couple times throughout our meal. To top it off there was a song playing over the speaker and all of a sudden we all hear the word fuc@#$g in the song. I immediately got the attention of the manager and said maam the music being played is inappropriate. She just said oh I will go talk to them about rhe music. She then turned back to her man friend and kept the conversation going. My wife and I were in disbelief. This was when we decided to leave as quickly as possible. She could have cared less my 8 year old daughter was standing there listening to the music. My daughter colored the manager a picture because she said she was going to comp her meal because of the length of time it took to get the ketchup out. So she felt she should do something nice. To the owner/manager/operator of Los Cabos I want to let you know because of what happened last night we will not be coming back knowing this is what type of managers you have working at your restaurant. I have to say, I love the Los Cabos in Jenks. I appreciate that there are gluten free menu options and I was so excited for my food. We were with a big party for lunch and I ordered enchiladas with corn tortillas. When the food arrived, I ate a bite and realized they were flour tortillas. I can't eat flour and the waitress had put the ticket in correctly. She took the food away and I waited and waited and got my food as everyone else was getting their checks. I had to box it up and didn't get to eat my lunch. It ended up being $19 with a tip for two enchiladas and a salad and water. These are high prices, and I don't mind paying them for good food and service. The waitress did a fantastic job, but I think the management didn't do the right thing by making me pay full price, when I ate food that could make me sick and had to leave the restaurant without eating.
