Friendly staff. Cute venue. Yummy coffee. Good music. Quaint little place. Would come again!

Bagels were interesting, but solid experience overall. It was just lacking a little extra something that would bring it to the tier of my favorite bagels I've had. With that being said, I did enjoy them. I just had a bagel with plain cream cheese, so I could judge just the bagel as much as possible. They were nice and warm when ordered, as I had them toasted. The texture was fairly good, when it comes to good bagels I've had. However, the texture was just short of the top tier I've had. The chewy inside and crispy exterior were there, as I do a prefer a NY style bagel. The cream cheese was piled on nice and thick on the bagel. Thicccccc cream cheese, that each half of the bagel was substantial. They served it that way and I didn't bother pitting them together due to the volume. If I were craving a bagel and in the Humboldt area, this would be a worthy look.

Scrambagels! [Eureka CA] This place seems to be a popular hangout among the locals as inside was busy at 10:30a on Memorial Day. We patiently stood in line while checking out the menu board. Everything looked good. Hubby and I decided on a Scrambagel each and got the Bacon Scram (scrambled eggs, cheddar and bacon). So yummy in organic sesame seed bagel. The bagels are freshly made daily and made with organic flour. The pastries looked appealing too! This was our first time here located at the Old Town Square in Eureka. This is a cafe with Mexican and Jewish influence bringing together rich flavors and traditions from both worlds. Looking for churros? empanadas? challah? potato knish? Yes, they have them. We dined in, lucky to find seating inside. There are a couple of bistro tables outside which was nice as long as cool weather permits. Instagram: @los_bagels Review #3780

We stopped here along the way back to San Jose. This bagel shop is located in a pretty cute area with lots of welcoming Pride flags. We found parking on the street. For the service alone, this place was 5 stars! The cashier was extremely warm and friendly. This spot was definitely queer and POC-friendly (which was a welcome relief, as we were traveling in a largely conservative area prior to this stop). I enjoyed admiring the artwork of different iconic people of color in our culture. I ordered the cucumber bagel. I liked the seasoning and the "slime"--but it was wayyyy too much cream cheese! My friend ordered a cream cheese bagel and they also put way too much cream cheese on her bagel. I also tried my friend's breakfast bagel and it was just okay, pretty plain.

As an east coast bagel snob, the bagels here are definitely worth the drive over and to buy a pile to take home. Nice and chewy with a good crust. Flavorful. And the bagel sandwiches are made with care and fresh ingredients. Staff are appropriate levels of brusk as any good coffee shop person should be -- and friendly. They greeted an old timer who came in regularly apparently with enthusiasm which warmed my heart. Latte was yum and pretty. Every little town downtown deserves a place like this.

Yummy snacks, breakfast or lunch. They have a great selection of drinks juice's etc. right smack dab in the middle of old town. There is outdoor seating dog friendly place and good vibes... The staff was friendly and welcoming while taking our orders I would go back anytime I am nearby to support this mom & pop shop!

Friendly staff! However, I felt for a fairly plain tasting bagel sandwich for the price of $18 was pretty high. It felt odd that adding cream cheese to a bagel was $4. I'm also used to a jalapeños bagel having a lot of flavor and this one tasted very bland.

    hair in guac farther away

Hair in my guacamole. None of the employees that I saw making the food were wearing hair nets, which is confusing to me as I've seen employees at the Arcata location wearing hair nets. I have long dark brown and purple hair so this hair isn't mine lol. Bought a bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon, a drink, and a small side of guac, for $23.94 and got it to go. Took it to my car to eat and saw the hair when I took the top of the guac container off. The bagel was fine but no guac for me. Purchased at 12pm on March 28th 2026

My slug was delicious, and they were very generous with the cream cheese.

This place has been a Humboldt county tradition for years and years. I was heartbroken when Safeway stopped carrying their bagels. I mentioned that to the very friendly and helpful cashier who was helping me, and he got a laugh, and he agreed with me. They have a large amount of different flavored bagels, both regular and gluten-free, a good selection of cookies and other desserts, All kinds of different toppings, including vegan and vegetarian choices, and a good selection of drinks, including coffee and espresso drinks. Today, I had a slug with cream cheese. The slug, named after everybody's favorite Mollusk, is basically an everything bagel, shaped like a bar doughnut. It had a great chew, the toppings were fantastic, , and they were very generous with the cream cheese. The price was very reasonable, and I even got a military discount. The space is clean and bright. Buy a book across the street at the Booklegger, and then grab some great bites while you are perusing your purchase. I will continue to come back. Thank you.

This bagel store has a large seating area and warm interior. The walls feature local artist. I came around 10 AM and the morning sunlight just seemed to light up the wooden interior and it was already getting crowded. It seems most of the patrons there were local people. It's in a beautiful section of down town Eureka and walkable area I only had a bagel with cream cheese but they served a lot more on their menus

    Grampa Goren

I consider myself somewhat of a lox bagel aficionado, and the Grampa Goren really hit the spot. Lots of cream cheese and they certainly don't skimp on the lox either like many places!! We just stopped in for takeout on the way out of town, but looks like a cute place to sit and dine in, as well. They also have a really wide selection of bagels and toppings (and non bagel options), with lots of different vegan and vegetarian spreads/toppings.

Stopped by here on my way home from Redwoods NP. Located in downtown Eureka? the interior of this shop is very cute and the staff was very nice. I got the lox bagel, and as someone who usually isn't a bagel fan - they had solid bagels. I don't think the smoked salmon was anything special so I didn't love that, but I came here for a good bagel and I got just that!

Toasted Garlic Bagel with egg and chorizo.
    Daniel S.

Went here a few days ago, and sadly, Los Bagels tastes nothing like it did 7 years ago. That, or maybe it was a hiccup? The bagel was very dry, moistened by a little bit of butter inside the slice. The scrambled eggs with chorizo itself were overdone. Overall, the bagel as a meal wasn't very satisfying and brick-like. The service was typical and good as usual. The ambiance was "Starbucks" meets "Bagel Shop". The tables could have been cleaned better and the trash can was so full--I couldn't even toss my wrapper. I'd give Los Bagels another shot...

Just get bagels at the safeway - they are way better and cheaper. LB has really bad bagels and very expensive. Should consider closing.

Parking is street parking only, so it can get tricky during busier times. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. They have a very large food menu, and they also have bagels, pastries, coffee, espresso drinks, , smoothies, beer, and wine. I was in at lunchtime, so I decided to get an "everything bagel" with their sun-dried tomatoes spread. I asked for light spread, and that's what I got. The bagel was amazing! Very tender. I could smell the garlic on the bagel and taste it as well. It was excellent. The spread was both savory and rich, but not overly rich. I loved it. I also had a white mocha. It was a good quality, coffee, and the drink was rich and sweet, but not overly so. I was talking with my sister later, and she told me that their sandwiches and salads are also very good. I decided to come back for dinner. I had the salami, baguette, and one of their lemon squares for dinner. The Salami Baguette had Salami, Jack Cheese, Spinach, Tomatoes, Dijon, and Pesto (Basil, Olive Oil, Garlic, Walnuts, Parmesan, and Salt) That sandwich was amazing! Baguette was soft and delicious, they were generous with the salami, and it had the right amount of cheese. The veggies give it a nice "pop" of freshness, the pesto was rich, but not overly so, and the Dijon and just a tiny bit of a "zip" to it. All of the ingredients played together very well. The lemon square, the crust was flaky, the lemon was creamy, but not overly sweet, and it had just the right amount of powdered sugar on the top. Everything I had there today was fantastic. The prices were reasonable. I will definitely be back to try more items. My only regret is waiting so long before I finally came in. Thanks!

Spent most of the tour hearing from the owner about how his workers kiss every one of your beans that come from plantations where even bullets were found in the beans the workers sort in the factory. Not once did he talk about the exploitation cocoa farms have for children in the country of origin, inclu ding child slavery or slavery amongst adults, nor the companies commitment to working with farmers who practice ethical trade. That lack of emphasis of the dialogue regarding human rights leads me to believe that acknowledging humans rights isn't something this company has even with their own workers. A bunch of people come in for a tour and the cafe workers who are pretty new to the front area have to be in charge of seeing about 15- 30 different orders with in 5 minutes and the front stage who makes below minimum of the cost of living has to be left felling supported? I wonder if all the staff working for you have even been on a sailboat or own one? It's on your logo after all. Or is it a simple nod to the slave trade being the reasons you are a millionaire? I think it would be amazing if this company could make products that do not include slavery or mistreatment of workers.
