Solid 3. It's good to have a another option in town but for me, this is just another Beto's / Gualberto's re-branded location with an almost identical menu and food. I've been here twice now, tried various things amongst the family and it's just ok. Really pleased with Los Aribertos so far. The food is made fresh right there, so keep this in mind if you're going through the drive-thru -- it's gonna be a little longer than your average McDonalds run. That said, the taste of the food is great. The meat is always cooked right, and I have never had any gristle or fatty pieces included in my food. Also, those tortillas they make? SO good. This place has over charged me, not by a few dollars but by like 10$. Not the first time either. They add a tip after you pay. BEWARE. also their food is a hit or miss. I literally pulled a bread tie out of mouth after taking a bite out of my burrito. Alright. I've got mixed feelings on this place after our first visit. Our order: 1/2 bean side, 2 chicken enchiladas, 5 rolled tacos, and a chimichanga. What we actually GOT: 1/2 bean side, chicken enchilada combo (+$3), 5 rolled tacos, chimichanga, & chimichanga combo. (Neither chimi was the type of meat we'd tried to order) He said the guy taking his order just seemed to not be paying attention, but that maybe masks were making it more difficult for them to understand one another. My spouse paid for the order, and thought the total was pretty high, but didn't think to check the bags right then. Thoughts on the food: Portion sizes were great, and I was very happy with the cook on everything. The meat inside the rolled tacos and enchilada was extremely bland and flavorless, but I was able to drown them in the delicious sauces, so they were still alright. The chicken in the enchiladas though bland, was very juicy and tender. So those dishes were so-so. Up until this point I would only give 3 stars and feel generous about it. But then I tried my one of the chimichangas. It was some kind of cubed beef, but as he'd ordered chicken, I'm not sure exactly what it was. Holy crap. It was GOOD. Like, really really good. The meat was tender and juicy with very little gristle or fat. The seasoning and flavor was absolutely fantastic. I would go back over and over just for that. I understand this opened recently and have young staff (mostly teenage girls) but I'd have hoped they would be taught how to make Mexican food correctly. I have been here a couple times, hoping it was just a bad night or something but it has not improved. Let me say I am a huge fan of good, real Mexican food. This was sub par. We live less than 5 minutes away, and the food was cold when we got home. The rice undercooked and flavorless, the beans so watery it could have been soup. In the cheese enchiladas, the cheese was not even cooked on the inside.. it was still in shredded form. The beef tacos were extra greasy and the edges were so overcooked they were hard as a rock. The breakfast burrito was fine, but bland. The plain cheese quesadilla was only about 1/2 full of cheese and 1/2 empty tortilla. That being said, I really hope it improves because I love how close it is to my house! They also were out of green hot sauce one day and don't have hot carrots/jalepenos like most Mexican places do. We came here for the first time the other night and ordered the nachos and a chimichanga. Flavors overall were really good, my husband thought the side of beans was bland, but I liked them. Portion sizes are large so expect leftovers. Drive thru was slow, but it's a restaurant not fast food so we were okay with that. I really enjoyed the chimichanga flavors and ingredients, but once I started getting into it, it became really watery and that kinda dampened my enthusiasm for eating it which is why I'm giving four stars instead of five. Compared to the other Mexican restaurants we've eaten at in utah county, this may be the first I actually want to eat at again, I would recommend it. read more

I placed an order through DoorDash for pick up, but when we got there they said they had given to someone else, a door dash delivery driver perhaps. We showed our receipts and confirmation of it being a pickup and not delivery, but they didn't care. The accused us of lying and trying to take advantage of them, and refused to be of any help. The manager yelled at us, told us to call the guy they gave it too (whoever that was) then walked away. He refused to talk to us or make it right. Completely baffling! What an awful experience. Then as we were leaving, someone ran out with our original order. Who behaves that way and operates so unprofessionally? What a waste of time and energy! I will never return. I've eaten at other Los Aribertos locations and the Eagle Mountain location doesn't even come close in comparison to the other locations' food quality and taste. The chicken in the chicken fajitas consisted mostly of fatty chicken with about a 1/2 cup of oil in the bottom of the styrofoam container. The flour tortillas that came with the chicken fajitas were hard, like they broke when you would try to unroll or bend them hard. The rolled tacos had a slice of cheese on them? Not shredded cheese, but a slice of slightly melted cheese? No idea what that's about. The carne asada also had too much oil and consisted largely of fatty cuts of meat. You expect to see some fatty pieces of meat, but when you're fat to meat ratio is roughly 60/40 something is definitely wrong. I thought maybe it was a fluke the first time I ate here, NOPE! The 2nd trip was equally as bad and I'm not going back for a 3rd round of disappointment. The Los Aribertos people need to whip this location into shape ASAP. read more

First the bad news. So I bought a Certificate from RESTAURANT.COM. It had the address and phone # on the Cert. I called and placed my order. My husband went to pick it up and use the Certificate. They said it wasn't for their place (as far as my husband could understand) but since the food was already ready he just paid for it and did not use the Cert. I will call RESTAURANT.COM and see what I can do. Now for the GOOD NEWS. I can't say enough about how good and plentiful it was. The Shrimp Platter was so very good and I got the flour tortillas. The tortillas were huge and thin which I loved. The Chile Rellenos were incredible, I might even say they compared to mine. The Chicken Enchiladas were delicious. The Fish Taco was really good and I think it's hard to find a good one. The Beef Chimichanga was huge and really good. They loaded us up with sauces that were so good I can't decide which one I liked most. The prices were really reasonable. Because of the virus we did take out. read more

The food here is amazing! I'm from California and this is the closest to California Mexican food I've had in Utah. Love this place!

My husband and I wanted Mexican food for a late night snack on Sunday. I checked Facebook and and it said they were open until 11pm on Sundays. We went to the drive thru only to find out they close at 9pm on Sundays. The people that we're closing the restaurant saw us and offered to make us the burrito we wanted. They could of told us no but what awesome customer service. Every time I go there it's been great service and food. read more

The food is decent, however, the service is poor. Have eaten at Los Aribertos several times. We have experienced very long wait times in the drive through, so today we decided to go inside instead. We placed our order and received it 50 minutes later, and only then after going back to the cashier 3 times to find out why it was taking so long. Several other customers that came in after us, got their food and were eating before we received our food. I had an appointment and had to leave so I later called and was told just a minute, the phone was evidently just laid on the counter, because, I could hear everything that was going on. Finally 11 minutes later, they asked me if I wanted to place an order. I told them no, I just wanted to find out why it had taken 50 minutes to get our order. The individual on the phone, cut me off mid sentence, immediately became defensive and said they were really busy and only have one cook, one cashier and one person taking orders. She said it's hard to find help in Eagle Mountain. She then said that they might have lost the order she wasn't sure. I told her that we had reminded them 3 times and it still took that long. She then said she is just a cashier. When I asked to talk to the manager she said they didn't have one, they only have an owner. When I asked to speak with the owner, a conversation in Spanish started and evidently no one wanted to talk with me. I finally told her that I had heard enough and I ended the call. Overall, the food is about the same as I have had at similar restaurants, but, between poor customer service, problem resolution and the fact that they charge 4% service charge, if you use a card of any kind, debit or credit, I probably won't be going back to often. Owning the problem would have been much better than providing numerous excuses. read more
