My dog has a lot of anxiety and is not the easiest to groom. Lori and her staff always do a great job and take care of him.

The services has been great, there is an auto text message that reminds me of appointments and when they are on their way. When they arrive they park in front of the house and come to the door to get Paris. Paris gets a full groom in about a hour and I do not even have to leave home and she does not have to be away from home all day like her old groomer. Paris comes back smelling great, her fur is soft and fluffy and she has a cute bow for her top knot. I am so glad to have found Loyal Friend, quality service and so convenient for my busy schedule!

That is what I usually pay for her after he arrived and she was in the grooming truck. I got a phone call from someone at the company made a mistake. It's $210 not 120. That's like a bait and switch. I have never paid $210 for this dog to be groomed and she's three years old. I told I like him, but I am not coming back to a you because you work for a company that is dishonest and I think I'm going to report them to the Better Business Bureau as well that's how upset I am. I live in a more upscale community and you gotta wonder whether in a nice house like what's what I don't understand I've never had this happen to me before so this company will never ever get anything from me but a bad review and I've never bad reviewed anyone.

I hate to write this review, because I really had high hopes for this place. They are right down…read morethe road from me and when I called their prices were really reasonable! I recently moved here and was looking for a new groomer for my very large, very fluffy dog. I have always kept up with his grooming with other groomers, and never had a problem. He's never been matted and has always been on a schedule. The first time I brought him, I was pleased with the results. He looked and smelled great. But only two weeks later, I started feeling mats behind his ears and on his legs where he had never had them before. So I called and made another appointment, because I assumed he was going through a coat transition or something. So I paid them another $60 to get groomed, only two weeks after I had him groomed the first time. He was there from 8am-6pm. When I picked him up, I put my hands on him and felt that he was damp. I mentioned it to them and they said no, he was fine, he was totally dry. I didn't argue, I paid and left but I really did think he was damp. The next morning when I woke up, he was pretty much a solid mat. His back, neck, ears, trousers, tail, everything was matted. I called them and they said to bring him in and they would fix it. I brought him in and stood there and watched as the "bather" (who I dont think has any grooming training) DRY RAKE my dogs coat, trying to rip the mats out. I told her to forget it, he was fine, and I left. Before I left, I asked her if he had been dried while he was there, and she said oh yes, he was cage dried all day. You DONT cage dry a dog with this much coat! You have to use a stand dryer and brush it out at the same time, or the undercoat becomes a solid mass, which is exactly what happened. I had to take my poor dog to someone else, and pay another $80 to have them attempt to fix the disaster, and they were really shocked at the condition of his coat, the new groomer explained that Doggy Stylez just cage dried him and then just brushed the top of his coat so he would look pretty when I picked him up. They said that a lot of people have been going to them because they are very cheap, but that they dont have the right equipment to do heavy duty grooms. I have my THIRD appointment with the new groomer next week in ANOTHER attempt to fix the damage that Doggy Stylez did to my dog's coat. My original "Great deal" in finding a bath and brush for $60 has turned into $340 trying to fix what they did. Here are some other things about this place. 1) The place is filthy. They let their personal unhousetrained dogs run around and I have come in sidestepping piles of dog crap, chewed up paper and puddles of urine. 2) When I came to get my dog, there was a woman in the waiting room with three small dogs off leash. The bather just let my dog out into the waiting room OFF LEASH. She had no idea if my dog was good with other dogs or if the other lady's dogs were good with other dogs. Luckily there was only a moment of growling but that could have been REALLY bad. 3) They foster dogs for the humane society in the same kennels that they use for groomers. This is great that they foster dogs, I'm really happy that they are helping. BUT, they are fostering dogs that havent gotten their shots yet and are from a HIGHLY diseased shelter in a kennel next to my dog where they can touch through the fence, and their waste runs into my dogs kennel. It is completely unfair to expect a paying customer to expose their dogs to unvaccinated puppies that may be carrying anything from parvo or distemper to kennel cough or mange. 4) Their "runs" are handbuilt and poorly at that. It's wood and chicken wire. 5) It just stinks! They used to smoke inside and the place reeked of dog poop, urine and smoke. Enough people complained about the smoke that they stopped smoking but you can still smell it. 6) The bather seems to be just ridiculously ignorant about grooming, and yet she is the one taking in all the dogs and bathing them and doing a lot of the grooming. 7) They told me they use dawn dish soap as their shampoo, but that they would be ordering shampoo "real soon". Dry and brittle coats anyone? All in all, I am furious about this place. They may be cheap, but they give cheap grooms. Scrape together an extra $40 and go to a real groomer, trust me, you will save money in the long run.

They close at 5, and by 440 I hadn't gotten a call so I decided to go ahead and head up there. When I arrived, the owner said "she's not quite done, you can go home and I'll call you, it should only be about 15 minutes." I decided to wait, no point in driving home to turn around and come back. While I sat on this filthy sofa covered in dog hair, holes and trash in the floor, 3 women stood around talking.. About buying one woman's puppy! Meanwhile I'm tapping my foot, heavy sighs, etc, nobody is making a move to get my poor dog out of the cage in back to finish her. Finally, at 545, I get to leave. Very unprofessional, made me pay before they finished my dog, sprayed her with bath and body works body spray, and my car was covered with hair, because they, in my opinion, did a half @$$ job. I paid $60 for this and I regret it very much. Had I been the one dropping her off, not my bf, I wouldn't have left her. Never again. I tell everyone about this experience.

NEVER TAKE YOUR FUR BABY OR BABIES!!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL…read moreVery unprofessional from the start! This was a last resort appointment and it was the worst mistake!! My husband told the groomer (male) our baby has kennel anxiety and epilepsy 3 TIMES before the appointment. The groomer also asked for reference pictures which were sent to the groomers phone. My husband dropped him off and told me he started shaving him around 11 am. He completely ignored the photos and shaved him almost to his skin. I arrive to the shop at 12:40 and find my baby on the table ALONE. He was half shaved shaking by himself. Any dog can accidentally step off the table and hang themselves without proper supervision. I walk around the building and find him smoking with "his mother". He walks up to me and tells me he has about another 30 minutes. After another 5 minutes of smoking he comes back inside and I follow him and wait inside. He then tells me to step out. I called my husband to meet me at the shop. The train passes by very loud and close to the shop. We wait another hour and fifteen minutes and so furious I just wanted to pay and take my baby in the current condition he was in. When we went inside for the last time he forgot who our dog was and argued with my husband. When we asked for our baby he forgot which one was ours and put him in the kennel.
