I dropped my standard poodle off for grooming and the groomer Cam called to say she would have to take the fur down lower due to some matting. However she charged me for dematting. This was a $140.00 grooming service! I think this price is ridiculous for what I got. I am attaching pictures that show how many uneven pieces and clumps of hair are on my dog's tail and feet. I can understand the need to cut the fur down, but don't charge for dematting and if you are going to cut the hair down, please let it be even and consistent. read more

I brought my two Shih Poos here and was very pleased. My inital communication and booking was via FaceBook messenger. The person was responsive, friendly and accomdating. Best place for dog grooming ove the staff very friendly. My dogs always look great. So give them a try you want be disappointed.

The staff was polite and informative. The front lobby had a lot of pet hair on the floor when you first walked inside. Being a first time customer made me think of how clean the rest of the business was. When I returned to pick up my pet, they seemed happy and ready to go. There cuts were great for the first time. I had no iss with the service. I did have to ask if they needed any medical records, the lady said they could note the rabies expiration dates, but no additional was documented. Overall satisfied with the cuts and service. read more

I rescued this little schnauzer in February. I got her groomed back in March at petsmart, she was matted and a mess before that grooming. They did a great job, the first picture is from petsmart in March. I would have gone back there, but the groomer wasn't there anymore and I really like trying to support local Mint Hill. Boy, do I regret it. I took her in when they opened at 9am and I got a call at 12:30 that she was ready to be picked up. When I got there the manager informed me that there was an accident and they cut the inside of her ear. They had to use chemical cautery to stop the bleeding. He apologized appropriately, but I was in shock. While I was still trying to comprehend the accident, he let my dog come out. I knew she didn't look good, but I just wanted to get her out of there to see how badly she was injured. The manager said the total would be $50 (FYI- petsmart was $30)... then he said, "Actually, I can't expect you to pay full price, it will be $45." I paid and left. Accidents happen, but the grooming that was done on my dog was horrendous. I still can't even believe it. They shaved her beard completely off, left her face all uneven, her body was combed but not trimmed and with her head shaved down she looks like some kind of llama. She smelled like blood and cauterized tissue. The chunk out of her ear breaks my heart trying to imagine what she went through... especially considering that I asked them for a teddy bear schnauzer cut, which you really don't cut their ears at all. The fact that the manager gave me a $5 discount (with hesitation) is offensive and I still can't believe anyone would ever think that this grooming looked ok. I read the reviews and they were good. I want to make sure people read mine so they know my dogs experience. read more

I love Tiffany's Pet Salon! We take both our two fur babies, a husky and a lab/pointer mix, here to be groomed. My dogs always look and smell amazing after their visit. Our lab/pointer tends to be an issue when groomed due to his severe separation anxiety. He's even been asked not to come back to places due to it, but Tiffany's always handles him with great love and care. He even comes out as a happy boy rather than anxious and upset. They are always accommodating of my schedule and the needs of our animals. I am very pleased with this Pet Salon and I highly recommend. read more

I didn't even take my dog here and I was on hold for 11 minutes, forgotten on the phone. I heard the manager say if you don't want to be here than I don't want to be here. What kind of manager would say that never again would I EVER think about working or bring my baby to a place like this. I understand it's a stressful environment but don't treat your employees or customers like that. If I could give this place a "demolishing" sign I would. This is ridiculous 11 minutes on the phone for no reason. Watch out they might have smiles but hearing those dogs bark in the background made my dog run to the corner. I fostered a Pittbull/Husky for a few weeks. Needed to get Bo cleaned up; he was a very shy dog but adapted really well. He now has a great farm to run around on. I am good friends with the owner; He is a great guy, does fantastic work including his crew. Very friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend them. read more

Convenience (within 3 miles of our house) and great service / work -- it's hard to say no! We started taking our 2 dogs here about 4-5 years ago, and we have been really pleased with the results. Tiffany is extremely accommodating for us (we have been known to ask for emergency same-day appointments a time or 2, and she always finds time). The new owner is not friendly. I call make an appointment and when I get there I'm told I'm not in the books this has happened 2 times. I have 6 dogs I bring every 6 weeks n one is hyper so he chose to tell me he does not want to wash any of them anymore. That's a great business mentality. I wish I could give this place zero stars! I dropped my dog off at 12pm, they told me it would be 2-3 hours, not a problem. I hadn't heard anything and it was 3:45 so I decided to call. The man in the on the phone ( I'm assuming the owner) told me another women had picked my dog up. I then stated there's no way, I'm the only women who owns this dog and would pick it up, he again stated that he was picked up by someone else. At this point I was confused and scared. He put me on hold and quickly came back and said oh he's here, he will be ready in 10 min. Not only did it take longer then i was told but you scared the crap out of me. I paid him in full and decided it would be good that others knew they aren't as organized as they should be. I will never return or refer this dog salon to anyone. Oh and the best part, when I brought home my 80lb lab mix he was panting so bad that he drank almost 2 full bowls of water! VERY VERY SCARY! read more

I moved to Mint Hill in August 2012 and began using Tiffany's Pet Salon to groom my Yorkie. I would usually have decent experiences and customer service. Last week I called and scheduled an appointment. I simply asked for next available and was told to bring my dog on Monday, March 3, 2014 at 10 am. I arrived at exactly 10 am to find all new faces. Normally I get a phone call when my dog is ready. I had to go out with my daughter and the weather was horrible so around 3:40 pm, I called to see if my dog was ready and was told to come around 4:05 (now I think she may have said 4 or 5 but I did repeat 4:05 and she said yes). At 4:15 I went in and they hadn't even begun on my dog. I simply asked how much longer and the groomer in the back got an attitude and said "just tell her 6:00!" I received a call around 5:15 pm that he was ready. When I got my dog his teeth weren't brushed as I had asked and his haircut was very uneven. The hair around his face was cut very short to the point where I could see his meat and it was red. The hair around his testicles weren't trimmed as normal. Clearly a poor job. They just lost a good customer. I'm wondering if this is new management but either way, I've already found a replacement! read more
