We were only staying 2 to 3 days....Looking at this fine facilities yelp reviews...well let's just say I'm happy the reviews were right on point....when their reviews are honest they can be helpful... The facility was very clean...the owner was very helpful when it came to answering all of our questions and addressing all of our concerns. We even got a video which was wonderful. I had left instructions of how much to feed her, vet name and number, emergency vet number, etc. , etc. And this is after Devin came into my apartment and I had gone over everything with her! Devin texted me, took pictures and gave me a detailed description of how Mia was doing when I was gone. She cleaned her kitty litter, tried to play with her and even gave her treats! Mia hid from her but by the second day she actually came out of her hiding place. When Devin texted me that, it made me so happy! I did not worry at all about how Mia was doing by being alone because I knew that she was in good hands. I really enjoyed myself without having to be stressed out! It was so wonderful. Starshine is a bit more expensive than others, but the peace of mind of knowing a professional is taking care of our much-loved furkids, and who seems to adore them as much as we do, is well worth it. I highly recommend Dani/Starshine if you like knowing that your pets are in great hands! The only downside is we are moving to Seattle and so will no longer be able to use Dani's services. We've had issues with boarding facilities in the past (check my reviews if interested) which left us hesitant to booking, especially considering the expense that comes with larger breed considerations. However, not only does TCC have better care, facilities, and customer service; they are also easier on the checkbook. Teddy definitely has a home away from home in TCC, and even though our new move puts us another 15 minutes out, we wouldn't go anywhere else!

I've ALWAYS been treated with respect and professionalism by the staff. He had gone to another local daycare for a couple years prior to that and I didn't return after an unpleasant experience. I personally really like the fact that they understand canine behaviors, and will not allow truly aggressive dogs there, but that all dogs, large and small, can romp and playfully rough-house in canine fashion, with positive supervision.
