It's clear they truly love what they do and care deeply about every dog that comes through their doors. They took the time to get to know my dog's personality and needs, and I felt completely at ease leaving him in their hands. Their professionalism shines through in everything--from how they communicate with pet parents to how well they manage the dogs. It's such a relief knowing he's in a place where he's not only safe but having a great time too. If you're looking for a doggy daycare or boarding facility that's clean, caring, and run by true dog lovers, this is it!

At first, I wasn't sure what to think given the sort of nondescript building and area it sits on but, I needed a place for my girls to stay for 9 days while we went away on vacation and decided to give them a try. I had seen a few negative reviews but, the majority were positive so, one shot is what I figured they deserved. Typically, when my girls come home from a long kennel stay, they look miserable. They typically look like they haven't eaten much and I swear they look at me like I'm a horrible fur mom for leaving them wherever they went. That was totally not the case here. In fact, when the door was opened to let them into the lobby where my son and I were standing to pick them up, they ran to the two employees in the room instead. Not only did they look happy and healthy but, they smelled great (no I didn't request a bath) and all of their bedding had been washed! It was obvious they had eaten well and were happy. When we got home, rather than immediately crashing, they even played a bit and stayed awake for a good bit of time. I will definitely be using Hounds Town in the future for not only kennel needs, but for daycare this summer!

Apparently, his wife is the only one that knows anything about anything related to the business. With him knowing so little, it scares me that he may not be knowledgeable enough to be left alone in charge of the dogs. -I know dogs pee everywhere. However, this does not mean it is ok for a doggy daycare to reek of pee. It smelled so so badly. It looked dingy too. Im sure your dog would likely smell of pee when you picked him up. I can't say I've ever left my dog at this facility. I can say that after walking in the building and speaking to the man who owns it, I would not consider this as somewhere I would trust with my dog.

When dropping off my dog, they are always so friendly and show us around the facility. They show us where our dog will sleep and where he will play. They answered any questions I had and this made me so comfortable to drop off my puppy! KENNELS: The dogs get their own spacious kennels with their own water bowl inside. They welcome bringing your own bedding so he had his bed and blanket with him. They have specific feeding times in the morning and evening, and asked when my dog usually eats. They have heat and air in the building. PLAYTIME: The outside field is SO spacious. Lots of room to play!!! They have play equipment and balls, and there's shady spots and sunny spots! They will also pull the hose out to cool down the dogs if it's too hot. They get lots of playtime all throughout the day. If a dog(s) become too aggressive, they have a separate yard and do a good job about temporarily separating them. PRICE: it is SO affordable compared to other places in the city! They charge by day and there is a discount for multiple dogs. The drive is easy to get there and I don't mind driving it because of the affordable price. OTHER THINGS THEY OFFER: you can have them bathe your dog at the end of your stay. They also have doggy daycare daily. MY FAVORITE PART: they make it SO easy to check on your dog! They have a Facebook page and they post many videos daily of the dogs playing. I was constantly checking Facebook! The videos show all the dogs playing so you can watch and find your dog to see how they are doing! This made me so comfortable leaving my dog for a week for the first time because I could see him having so much fun and interacting with other dogs! AFTER: I know my dog had a blast because he was exhausted for a couple days and just slept! This is always a good sign. The owners live right on the property and are at the kennel with the dogs very often. It is family owners and operated. I HIGHLY recommend Fidos, they care about your dog and make sure they have a great stay! Your doggy's will be in great hands!
